4:27 Few melodies are as beautifully bittersweet as this underrated masterpiece. Like one's final spring before the great beyond. Or the vastness of space and inadequacy of our knowledge inversely proportional to our stubbornness... God I love Chopin!
It is a Polish melody, a christmas carol. This piece is centered around Christmas, it was written during that time when Chopin was angry He couldn’t return home. This piece shows His anger which is then interrupted by the memories of Christmas in Poland which is that melody. Then Chopin once again remembers those are just memories, and He simply cannot relive them.
@@Hacotrix yes the term scherzo means "joke" but chopin made his scherzos dramatic and serious, unlike the other scherzos other composers make which are happy and joke-like, which was rather ironical

Nur Rasyid - 14 years old composer Yes, but that is insane, I listen this in a plane, and I loop the 4 scherzos. I slept thrice when i listen the Theme B, and woke up by the last chord of scherzo 3. 😴

My dear friend. Its our nationality polish carol. You can check on Youtobe "Lulajze Jezuniu by Natalia Kukulska". Have a good day!

1:17 - 1:48 No words for it... the simplicity but yet filled with emotion.
I like the part with the nocturne section most at 5:08
10:46 best part
11:09 sounds like ballade in G minor Lol
yeah bro chopin has that signature sound, also in scherzo 2 you can hear ballade 1
@@agamaz5650 yeah, he loved ballade 1, even Schumann did
Hate that comment
@@deandaverama9448 You're off your rocker.
U can't say it cause it's op.20
Ballade no.1 is Op.23
It's earlier
Ballade op.23 is similar to this scherzo:v
Extremely love the coda 10:53
10:52
I like this piece😊
+Keremaxen013 Yes, you did ask for more Chopin :)
How can you not like it :)
These pieces are playful in the same way that Jschlatt’s City skyline videos are playful. And I love it.
Is it just me or do Chopin's Scherzos sound like people having a serious and mysterious conversation ?
Yeah, especially around 9:06
That was Chopin's own interpretation of his second Scherzo according to a pupil of his. Look into it!
I saw on a music book that Sherzo means "playing, happiness, joy and quickly"
@@caios5128 being Happy in minor, that's exactly what was Chopin

I feel like Liszt would've loved this piece...
He refused to teach it because it was so popular.
I feel like he did
@@reqper_x no, he refused to teach the 2 scherzo not the first

Thanks, it's one of my favorite compositions. Can you do all of Chopin's scherzos?
Shit, my guy trippin. You actually like this?

@@marshan1226 so u genuinely, naturally enjoy this piece in its entirety?
@@aldoringo439 Of course, it’s a masterpiece what are you on about: you don’t understand Chopin clearly if you don’t enjoy this
I like it mostly starting from 4:27
It quotes Polish chrismas carol "Lulajze Jezuniu" right there :)
Maestro Beethoven! :D
Yes I agree!
Awwww Yeeah! All the composers in da club!
xdddddddddddddd
Does anyone else feel like the beginning reminds them of fantaisie impromptu
Now that you mention it!!!

For those of you who can play this (I’m learning it) what is something I should keep in mind when practicing this?
0:29 i dont know why the left section sounds tango for me...
You are missing notes right after the chords in the beginning. Dont follow this tutorial. Its missing many notes.

It's more difficult this Scherzo than the Scherzo n.2 ?
This Scherzo is more difficult than the second one.
@@isaacyang2417 what?? nooo xddd
Isaac Yang
I wouldn’t say so
It sounds harder. Listen to the middle-end of scherzo 2.
Creepy...
Too much pedal i think
Agreed
Yeah, I was sad to not hear the much needed staccato at times :(
this is, after all, synthesia. It's awesome for synthesia. but i agree.
Cody Wang its played by a real person.
what is this soundfont?

A little under-tempo but overall a very nice rendition.
zucc has spoken

The peaceful part is so boring
It's a polish Christmas Song I think
U focused to Thema B?
Scherzo must have it

Really? I really enjoy the middle section: it’s a break from all the fire of the beginning.
