    I use hand gestures a LOT when I'm talking. It actually helps my mind stay a little more organized. I like the tip to have distance between you and the camera so your hand gestures don't invade your listeners space.

    I found this so helpful and important to know for my future speech as to really pay attention to my hand gestures and body language. I know how important it is for a speech or any presentation. I also liked the gesture precedes conscious thought. You had so much good advice and tips, thank you.

    Leaning about two convesations happening changed my perspective of approaching a speech. I belive i downplayed my speech deliverance wiht lack of gestures but learning if my spoken mesagge and body language are more aligned the audience will lean more into the speech.

    • @RiazMeghji
      @RiazMeghji  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mallory! So good to see you here. Well if your dad is mentioning it, your audience is telling you something is off. You have a sample size of one with this opinion. I'd ask around and see what your close friends have to say about it. Working in TV I learned to love criticism. Hard at first, but can serve us well long-term.
