Excellent Video!!! I have a 2012 VW CC, i will like to know if i should replace all my piston head, connecting rod and piston rings to carryout this repair?
I installed these rings on my audi. I have oil consumption. Car rus great. I only honed the cylinders because they were still within specs. Maybe I shouldn’t have hone the cylinders
I just bought those exact rings. I have a question please, I have a 2016 Audi A4 2.0 flex fuel Quattro. The audi OEM piston & rings measured .40mm ring gap on top ring for every cylinder. the 2nd ring measured .70mm on every cylinder. The Hastings rings are ring gapped at .50mm on both the 1st & 2nd rings. Did you measure your ring gaps on the Hastings rings? Did you have the same size & did you experience any issues? I saw on the forums that most people recommend including audi that the 2nd ring should be gapped wider to allow the proper function of the rings. Any thoughts/ experience would be appreciated.. Thanks, Paul
El no remplazó el piston, el solo lavó los pistones con cepillo de pelo plastico, no pelo de metal, con liquido de limping frenos, reemplazó los anillos y los month nuevamente,.
