Some of your titles are a bit of a stretch but in this case it ain't far out. I would never have tried playing the G, B and e strings along with the triads! I love the sounds. You are the man for alternative chord voicings. More spread triads combined with open strings please!

Sean, I appreciate your videos...been playing for ~40 years; rheumatoid arthritis took me out of the game for 5 years, and I'm pushing myself back into playing again, albeit very painfully. I'm having to find new ways to play. Your tips help me in this adventure! I love the sus-chords and the +9s. Thank you!

I hear you my brother. I have essential tremor, which, of course is great for guitar. Sean, has opened up a New way to approach the fretboard. He is a tad eccentric but I really enjoy him. He could be a bit more sensitive to those of us not in our early 30's and have been playing for 15 years lol. Still a very interesting guy and I have learned a lot from his videos. I just wish he would take the time to make it a real lesson, but I am sure that is a marketing bit to push for the BUY. I get it.

Oddly enough, Adam Sandler uses the 1-2-3 in his song at the end of Wedding Singer. True but unexpected.

Elixir really do make some kick ass strings. SOooO much reduction of extraneous string noise.

Great video, nicely chewed for beginners too ! Thank you Sean ! I also pick up those shapes too late :( I stumbled on them when learning triands and inversions.. No matter how we find them they are very useful.

Love you videos like this, Sean. Real lightbulb moments and super fun to get creative with. I'm a sucker for anything with a drone as well.
I've seen some guitarists play another shaped triad (or maybe it's a power chord) on the lower strings which looks like it's based of the G chord shape. If you know what I'm talking about, it would be great for you to cover it in a lesson.

Ifeel Elixir strings alienated my guitar..Sounds unreal like from space,,but not nesesreillly in a good way...i think they are good but only if you can't afford to change strings often. Its dreadnought Takamine. Bas or low E more corect sounds brain shaking, which I don't like that much.

I love your lessons, but you lose me about 3 minutes in.
I'm guessing that as a newly returned guitar student ( after a ~50 yr hiatus ) I'm watching lessons that are way too advanced for me.
I do learn something every time ....... now if I can just remember what it was ☹ 😉

Sean! Your videos have helped me expand my playing tremendously! Thank you! But I have a question for you...., not sure how to properly inlay my pedals nor set the amp up for my electric to not have to much o.d. but also not to little, any suggestions? Working with a line 6 peavey with a dampeing and vari-class knobs as well. Thanks in advance!
