I am paying customer, and "auto-updating table of contents" just made me jump from joy, thanks! My main problem remains that when I edit a long note in Android, typing becomes sooo slow. I mean, I can type a long message just fine, but I see it updated in the note at the glacial speed.
I just wanted to say a huge, "Thank You!" with a 🤗: I just had the crazy idea to Insert > Checkbox into a H2 header and I am over the moon excited this worked! I should have known you knew what I needed even before I knew I needed to functionality!
Hi Frederico, something that confuses me is why Evernote can transcribe handwritten text in an image but cannot search handwritten pdfs. I use Good Notes 6 for handwritten notes (used to use Penultimate). If I export as an image it transcribes perfectly. If I save as a pdf document, Evernote cannot search the handwritten documents. Why not? It makes no sense at all?
I've been using Evernote since 2002 or so. I'm not happy. I'm unable to keep even two devices ? I have to pick one (computer or phone), only one. That defeats half the reason I had the service. It seems you're much more interested in bells and whistles than customers. But hey, you do you. Bye!

Obsidian is a much better alternative, free and much more powerful than evernote, and more lightweight without all the junk features we don't need, obsidian is everything I wish evernote had been. Thanks for the 10 year journey Evernote, ciao
I would love to be able to insert elements (like tasks, calendar events, etc.) on mobile and tablet by typing / like you can on desktop. It would make it a lot easier to do so and make it feel more uniform across devices. Now I have to tap the insert button every time I want to add something.
Hello Federico evernote has great capability to be next things 3 as its tasks section already looks stunning .Only question is will it develop it in that way ? Think of it, you can get huge task management and note taking business combined !

Image text extraction is welcome. Nice feature. However I'm still COMPLETELY ANGRY, FRUSTRATED AND DISAPOINTED with EN performance. It's horrible. As I mentioned before, just to create a note it takes several seconds before the cursor gets into the "blank paper sheet". Deleting a note is ALSO, very, very slow. Other than that, we no longer have the F2 key to Edit Note Title. This "bug" (or intentional removal) makes me ABSOLUTELY ANGRY cause I see features from Legacy being taken off. This is such a simple thing that was removed. Where's it ? Why did you removed it ? Angry and sad. Slightly happy with image text extraction. Nice. Bottom line though is this : extremely disappointed, angry and frustrated with EN !
Hey, version 10.102.7 on Mac is frequently failing to bring up the search dialog when I click command-F. Please fix this. How does such basic functionality get nerfed? Very annoying. Also if you click on the three dots "..." for More Options in the search box, you get nothing so you cannot do a find and replace. WTH?
Guys. What is happening to EN. I delete notes, yet I'm seeing them, we've lost sort by tab, the bookmark bar, the saved searches in the side bar and so in. It's slow, unreliable. I'm a big supporter but this is getting really hard. Is there really a road map to at least, bring EN functionally to what is was in legacy?
My Evernote Desktop app is still very slow / terrible even though its the latest version - it actually slows my PC down - whereas my Web browser using Evernote is very fast and good - not sure why?? Do you need to focus more on this??? Equally my mobile app is fine and very good - but please fix the desktop app...no other desktop app has any issues like my Evernote one....

Não só isso. Ademais faz muita, muita falta as teclas nativas do Windows sabe ? Tipo Alt F pra abrir o Menu de Arquivos e assim por diante. Inclusive quando a gente vê que não tem isso fica ÓBVIO que o EN NÃO É MAIS UM APLICATIVO WINDOWS TÍPICO. Isso infelizmente é HORRÍVEL. Porque a perfomance está PÉSSIMA. Criar uma nova nota é mais lento que abrir o Excel ! kkk Consegue imaginar o absurdo que é isso ? O Excel, software pesado mas incrivelmente poderoso , leva menos tempo pra inicializar que vc criar uma simples nota no EN ! Parece piada nerd de mau gosto. Eu ABSOLUTAMENTE AMAVA a versão Legacy, que de fato era um App Windows. Mesmo sendo super antiga (a Legacy) ainda era zilhões de vezes mais rápida e tinha recursos que a nova ainda hoje não tem. Por exemplo classificação separada de cada NoteBook. Um posso ordenar por data de alteração e outro por título. Cada caderno tem sua ordenação pertinente. Tiraram isso. Triste. Outra coisa que acabou de sair também é a tecla F2, super prática pra vc editar o título da nota. Esteja onde estiver dá um F2 e ele te posiciona no título. Tiraram isso tb recentemente. Enfim, tudo muito triste e resolvante pra mim que sou assinante pagante de produto (desde 2011). Eu falava pra todo mundo do EN sabe ? Era super entusiasta. Hoje tenho VERGONHA. Inclusive as pessoas pra quem falei, que eram "free users" e possíveis clientes potenciais , justamente já abandoram o produto. Pq a limitação de 50 notas pra free users é TOTALMENTE RIDÍCULA do ponto de vista de captação de novos clientes. Decisão comercial IDIOTA. Não consigo entender. Poderiam até limitar novos recursos , do tipo Audio pra Texto (recente). Só quem é "pagante" teria acesso. Mas CASTRAR os usuários antigos com limitação de novas notas é ridículo. De fato tem recursos que também não estou mais usando porque é muito fraco: tarefas, por exemplo, o tarefas do google é muito mais amigavel, prático, é incluida no calendario, e pode ser impresso. O que vc apontou como lentidão também ja observei nas atuais atualizações. Valeu!
IMHO this emphasis on sync is very problematic. I guess a major part of the users don't need sync "right away" across devices. I mean, I don't need to see my typing at the desktop be synchronized "right on time" at my mobile (or tablet). Just a few business users that share notes do need that feature. And this for their SHARED notes, which I doubt would be majority of the notes even for them (Business Users). The majority of the users only need a good and reliable sync when we go to the mobile and vice-versa. Not a "real time sync" like I wonder it's being done right now. But because of this "real time sync" we're all paying the price of a very, very slow platform. Bottom line ? Create a configuration item : need "real time sync" or not ? Default : not. I guess we'll have a huge improvement at the general performance.
Amazes me you do this "rah-rah" videos showing off new features when at its core, Evernote is one of the most terrible apps ever. Since you said sync was faster it's actually slower, doesn't work correctly, and results in crashes. And as a paying customer I contact support and get nothing other than an AI bot that's like screw you, you take what you get and you will like it. I continue to say you all should be ashamed of yourselves, and I need to really get to finding something better before my March renewal.

Please make evernote photos app as well because google photos subscription is more valuable than any other service

I’m glad I moved away from Evernote years ago. I get needing to make a profit, but… you aren’t that good.
I'm not that road at the moment. Is almost unusable for me at the moment. Thinking of using Notion or Obsidian.

Totally agree. EN was my "hub" for everything. Nowadays unfortunately it is so horrible that I avoid to use it.
