I am a journalist, using Evernote as research and planning tool for more than a decade. Last year I was trying out other tools, and I almost switched, but now I am happy I didn’t. Bending Spoons Kaizen approach brought a lot of improvements for my workflow like the ability to open a new note from another note and thereby linking them. One of the most valuable tool remains the web clipper. I have not found a proper replacement yet.
I like the reminder functionality on a Note. This gives me the ability to consistently revisit notes of ideas that I have which are not project driven or which I need to revisit from time to time to ensure that it is updated. I know there are other work around but I like the way it works with Evernote.
I have 11 years of stuff in Evernote, I don’t want to migrate. Initially I wasn’t a fan of the new pricing but now happy that it gives it longer term sustainability. Happy with the new mobile app although search has taken a hit which was one of the best features IMO
I am an college engineering student and i want to digitize my notes to look back on later. But I love writing with pencil and paper. What apps would you recommend to scan my notes into? Or what other technology would you recommend instead?

Calendar and tasks functionality is useless for me in evernote, using Microsoft 365 for tasks and calendar.
@@paperlessmovement Yes. I use both but I have been rather disappointed in lack of some functionality in Apple Notes. There is no one perfect solution. That is why I love this channel. It is tool agnostic.
"Excited" not really. Evernote has lost lots of long time premium customers with their shenanigans. I made the transition from Evernote to Apple Notes and feels great to have everything in one ecosystem that works and gets the job done!

Apple Notes is also fantastic, but I use Apple and Windows ecosystems and Evernote’s cross platform compatibility is very useful
@@grantsmall_Ngeniousabsolutely, whatever works for you. All my devices are Apple, so it just works for me.
When are you going to link to Apple calendar? Apple reminders?
What is the purpose of this kind of video?
Still full of bugs and very laggy
