Someone said that Death is the greatest Dreamworks villain since Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda and I couldn't agree more, I got chills every time he showed up.
no one got the wish because no one said the damn phrase the map asked for. Big jack almost got it, visual effects and all, and he told the cricket (and the cook on the cliff) his wish. Nobody got a wish because they burned the map, which was the key and the receiving mechanism to get it. I didn't have a Genie/dragon to interpret voice commands.
@@tjarkschweizer what joke? No, seriously, I don't see the joke. It is a comment that I have seen in several publications where they talk about the movie. Death appears from before the bar. During the fight with the giant while the crowd is making a wave, you can see him in a dark alley at the left side, and the cards counting Puss's deaths there's a wolf in the corners of the design. He really was there on all of Puss's deaths.
What I love about Lobo is the fact that he’s not even technically a villain, just a fact of life that puss thought he could beat or outrun. “I came for an arrogant little legend that thought he was immortal, but I don’t see him anymore” once puss accepted death and stopped running Lobo realised that puss now appreciates the life he has and leaves him alone to live it, until the day finally comes where death returns and puss will go peacefully.
to be fair, lobo DID confess he technically shouldn't be doing this even though he feels he has a reason to, it's just that there's no one who'd be able to check him on that (the "that's cheating!" "shhh, don't tell anyone" exchange w/ one of puss's lives). puss was lucky that lobo accepted Character Development as a form of recompense
This movie was the complete package! - The protagonists were all likeable and fun to watch - The story was well balanced and engaging - The comedy was really on point, I can't remember the last time I watched a movie that made me laugh so hard so often! - The animation was F*CKING SPECTACULAR!!! Like seriously! - The soundtrack was amazing; after I saw this movie in theatres, I listened to Fearless Hero on my Spotify multiple times once I got home - All the villains were so well done! Goldie Lox in the Bears had a wholesome dynamic that was so fun to watch (plus the comedy with them never failed to make me laugh). Big Jack Horner was so comedically evil, and I loved every second of it. And Death, do I even need to explain, that dude is terrifying! Like, one of the top 3 Dreamworks villains of all time. And considering how much screen time he had, that's impressive! I hadn't seen the first movie all the way through but from what I had heard, you don't really need to have seen it in order to understand the story in this sequel. Ultimately, I'm glad I saw this movie and between this and the Bad Guys, I think the 2020's could be Dreamwork's decade in terms of animated movies. Guess we'll have to wait and see but I'm optimistic.
Fun Fact: The guy who composed the soundtrack for Puss in Boots 2 is named *Heitor Pereira.* The same composer who composed all the Despicable Me and Minions films' soundtracks.
It was nice to see a reactor not predict the “the wolf is death” plot twist until the actual reveal. It’s a very effective twist but too many people figure it out prematurely or at least suspect it.
I'm one of the ones who didn't realize until he said it, but looking back, there are enough clear details that it makes sense so many people catch it early on. The black cloak and hood, the sickles, the way he just appears from nowhere multiple times, the tap specifically on 'death' on the wanted poster, despite being wanted either way. A lot of stuff in that first scene makes it fairly easy for some people to catch on first watching I think
I can’t begin to tell you how happily surprised I was but Puss in Boots: The Last Wish kept surprising me with how good it was. It’s without a doubt my favorite animated film in the last five years and the best! Death is easily one of the most scariest and darkest villain in any animated film as well as DreamWorks best since Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda 2. The animation is very reminiscent to Into the Spider-Verse and it works surprisingly well and allows for many beautiful images. If Kung Fu Panda 4 or Shrek 5 has this same style, that would be awesome! I’m happy to say that Puss in Boots: The Last Wish now joins films like Toy Story 2, Terminator 2: Judgement Day, The Dark Knight, The Empire Strikes Back, Shrek 2, and Top Gun: Maverick as sequels that are superior to the original. What an absolute banger of a movie and I'm hyped to see DreamWorks' future! I’m hoping it takes home Best Animated Feature at the Oscars this year!
Definitely agree that Death are such a great character! But I disagree to say that he's a villain because being villain means they have an evil actions or motives, meanwhile Death? he's just an antagonist in this movie and being antagonist in the story doesn't necessarily means that they're evil, if you want to say who's the true villain in this movie, it would be Jack Horner and goddamn they did a great job to make him an irredeemable villain in this movie!
The animation style also allows having amazing visual narratives as you can get away with a lot more with a cartoony look than a realistic one. There's a video where you can see some pretended shots before and after the visual flair is added and the before scenes are ridiculously bad. Especially the scenes of the first fight with the wolf. They're so bad without effect despite looking more realistic.
So glad you got the chance to watch and react to this especially for the villain in it. The Wolf is probably the best and scariest animated villain we’ve had in years especially from Dreamworks. His voice, his presence and his appearance really made him a terrific yet terrifying threat.
The characters, the voice acting, the writing, the storytelling, the themes, the villains, the action and the ANIMATION! They all feel just right. And it's all coming from a freaking Puss In Boots movie like who knew?! I've seen The Last Wish like three times now and I still get *chills* and tears! My favorite scene from the whole movie has to be when Perrito lays on Puss' stomach after having a panic attack seeing Death. I felt so bad for him!🥺 My God, I can see why it took a decade to craft this movie. Alright DreamWorks I'm proud of you guys, I'm down for Kung Fu Panda 4 and Shrek 5!
Death is hands down the best character in the entire movie. Who would have thought that Puss in Boots would be this spectacular. Makes me love DreamWorks even more
Death is based on the folkloric character of the Grim Reaper, whereas the tune he whistles is based on The Silbón, a legend associated with the Los Llanos region of Colombia and Venezuela.
DreamWorks' Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish is one of the best animated feature films ever. And I love this sequel! I bet it'll win the best animated movie at Oscars 2023.
A detail that I caught was that all of Death’s whistles are the same tone but after Death leaves Puss in the final battle, his whistle tone is much higher. A whistle of that is earned rather than a whistle of a warning.
Goldis outfit and appearance is meant to show how she's been raised by the bears. Her hair looks like bear ears, her earrings are mismatched like Mama Bear, the necklace and her eyes are the same as Baby Bear's, and the scars over her eyebrow match Papa Bears missing eye
I remember my audience (and myself) being quite surprised when that blood was shown at 7:29. At first it seemed like it was gonna be a “gotcha!” but man, I didn’t expect they’d actually show real blood. Overall this film *definitely* earned its PG rating. Made me appreciate it more. Saw it twice in the theater too.
Since you have apparently not seen the first Puss in Boots movie, which takes place before the Shrek films, you should check it out Sophie, and your questions to why Puss was an outlaw will be answered. I highly recommend it.
@@zephyr9852 Puss said that he can never beat the wolf (death), but that he'll never stop fighting for this life. So when the wolf sees that Puss values his last life, he decides to let Puss go and live out his last life.
@@zephyr9852Yes, but before Puss accepted his life, Lobo went out of his way to kill him for wasting all of his other lives and mocking Death. I think it’s a hair petty, but I do get why Death would take offense and, by proxy, would want to off Puss.
12:46 at first I heard it as "maybe unicorn horn" and I was like "so you are saying some of them are fake?'' But now I realized he said " baby unicorns " and I'm like "oh son of a bi*ch"
Honestly people including me didn't think DreamWorks just went down the toilet but with movies like The Bad Guys and this one proved everyone that DreamWorks still has it.
Remember I watched this movie on the theaters a couple of saturdays ago, and boy, i'm Glad I watched it and I enjoyed it a lot, definetly goes into my favorite movies of 2022
One of the most phenomenal animated movies EVER RELEASED. PERIOD. and an immensely grand sequel to boot! The first one is actually pretty decent and shows more of Puss' origins before the Shrek movies + Kitty's introduction (the two are absolutely made for each other especially after everything they went through in this sequel!!) -- not a bad watch, I'd recommend if anyone is interested in more backstory and references!
I don’t think they should bring him back as a villain, but would be cool to see him like an Easter egg in the background whenever the next dream works villain dies.
Every time I see the sisters who bring the map to Horner, I kept thinking, "why do they remind me of the twins, Ruff and Tuff, from How to Train Your Dragon?" Then I remembered both series were made by Dreamworks. That makes sense
I actually thought that Kristen Wiig was voicing one of the sisters because of how similar they sounded to her HTTYD character, and was genuinely taken aback when I found out it wasn't the case
It's even better the second or third time around. During the opening scene, while puss in boots is on the rooftops, pay attention to the crowd. specifically in the back near the ally. You'll see someone familiar.
I love all the foreshadowing! wolf is actually in the crowd before he takes out the giant as it was where he lost his 8th life even before we know who he is! and the amount of bell rings is every life he lost.
Well we won't have waited too long for Puss in Boots 2. Honestly, it's one of the best movies of 2022 for me. The first film is a childhood memory, so I was looking forward to this one, but I feared a childish side... But not at all ! The animation is thrilling, Potté has a very interesting and well-constructed arc, and his relationship with Kitty is very cute. And the other characters are just as well done: the bear family is both funny and endearing, Big Jack Horner is an antagonist whose decisions surprise me for a family movie, and Perro is easily the most innocent mascot Dreamworks has ever created. (too much...). But (obviously😏) the best is Death, who has become my favorite Dreamwork antagonist. Until now it was Chen from Kung fu panda 2, whose flaw made him excellent, but Death has so much more: effective design, terrifying presence, complex motivations, in my opinion we have one of the best villains in the world animation, if not THE best that Dreamworks has ever created. Although the film is not perfect, I would find it hard to describe its flaws, but I must admit that I find it really daring to show themes and scenes to children 😲(I love to imagine the faces of parents who discover his scenes with their children that they had there when I saw the film🤣). And small detail, but I love the new presentation of Dreamwork from the beginning.
I had the same reactions to the wolf as you my friend! That wolf I swear! (Pause at 26:37 - I know I'm supposed to be scared of this guy but...Awwwwwww! Wolf's smile is the equivalent of Puss and Kitty's cute face to me! And Perrito.)
Probably the best thing about Death, is that he's not necessarily a villain, he's a classic Antagonist. Someone to call out Puss's BS and humble him. Because, all Death wanted was for Puss to cherish and value his lives instead of wasting them like he did all his other nine lives. Once he seen that Puss wasn't cowering, and was actually willing to fight and value the one life he has, Death backed down. Now Jack Horner, HE'S a straight up Villain. That's what I also love about Jack, is that there's no sugar coating of what he is, no sad backstory to make you sympathized with him, just a straight up Villain who wants all the magic in the world and to not share it with anyone.
That wolf-- the way it's acted by the voice actor, and the way it's animated. It strikes a primal fear in me, and I'm sure it's by design. It's soooo well done. It's been a while since an animated film left an image with me that stark. Loved this movie, much to my surprise!
Pretty much the only thing you missed from the first Puss movie was him meeting Kitty Softpaws, as well as Puss's backstory, but neither are super important information needed to enjoy this movie, which is nice! The first Puss in Boots was okay, not outstanding or anything, but not bad! Last Wish is SUPREME, though 👌
I just thought of something. In the first fight with Death at the tavern, he is lightning quick and really powerful. However, In the last fight he isn’t as quick and doesn’t seem as strong as he was. I think it’s because he gets stronger the more his victims fear him. Puss was terrified in the first fight, but by the last one he was still intimidated by Death, but faced that fear and was brave. Puss says he could never actually beat Death, but he can knock him down and stop it from taking him today
YESS YES SYESSS SO HYPED YOURE REACTING TO PUSS IN BOOTS! Been waiting and wanting you to react to it for weeks I can’t wait to see your reactions !!!!

Just incase someone hasn't said it yet, the first Puss In Bots movie is before his appearance in Shrek 2 (his origin story) while this one is obviously after Shrek Forever After
A really dark fact that I love about this movie is that Perrito's path to the wishing star was riddled with double-meanings. Pocket full of Posies is in reference to the Black Death, the River of Relaxation is a reference to the river Perrito almost drowned in, and the Path of Quick & Easy Solutions is a reference to "taking the easy way out," i.e. suicide. Its such a dark twist I love it lol
Yes! Thank you for reacting to this AMAZING movie! I love everything about this movie; from the animation, to the story, and to every single important character, especially the antagonists! I'm so happy this movie is well received because it's honestly one of the best animated movies to date. It's right up there with Into the Spiderverse for me. It's absolutely perfect!
Just because he has red eyes doesn't mean he really a villain straight up. He's just pissed off at Puss for not caring about his past lives. And also Puss in a way insulted him by saying, "I laugh in the face of Death." So basically, Death was teaching a very valuable lesson.
Fun fact about Death: His whistling is a reference to El Silbón, a spirit from colombian and venezuelan folklore, appearing as a long-limbed walking corpse wearing a wide-brimmed hat and carrying a sack full of bones. But most notable, and what gave him his name, his whistling tune at night that signifies your impending demise(especially if you are an alcoholic, an abuser, or cheated on your spouse) If his whistle sounds like he's near, he'll leave you alone. But if it sounds like he's far away, chances are he's standing right behind you.

For a Brazilian it is extremely rewarding to have the work of another Brazilian being praised internationally, I was very happy that the vast majority of critics and spectators of the film liked the work of Wagner Moura interpreting Death. he is an excellent actor and deserves all recognition
2 details i loved, with the birthday wish rules, everyone said their wishes so no one got their wishes, second detail almost all of Deaths appearances after his first and before his last was when Puss was close to dying
Wagner Moura's voice acting as Death was a huge and great surprise, as Brazilian I've known his work for years, but who would imagine that he would give life to one of the best villains ever. Also, gotta say, I love the way each actor's background and native language fits perfectly their characters.

This movie goes hard, and it had no right doing that. Probably one of the new classic animated movies to ever come out. I'm hyped for Shrek 5. By the way, The Last Wish is the second Puss in Boots movie (the first movie came out in 2011).
I think people are too hard on Goldi, Goldi is a orphan, of course she wants to see her real parents. It is a struggle to see that you don't exactly fit in, and Baby kept reminding her of it every chance he got, so of course it is in the back of her mind, who am I, where did I come from? Does are questions she believes she can only answer in that way. And Mama handled it perfectly, she didn't berate her for it, all she gave Goldi was love and understanding, which is what Goldi needed to see that she doesn't need any of it, that just loving those who love you is enough and that sometimes that is a even greater bond then that of the people who either abandoned you or were not there for you... or perhaps they died, who knows, but still, Goldi needed to see, that the Bears are there for her, no matter what.
One of my favorite moments in the movie is when Puss uses the Gatito blade to block deaths attack. It's a reminder that no matter how small the gesture appreciate what you have.
This movie could definitely be one of the best movies out there, I absolutely enjoyed everything about it, especially the whole message. It’s a movie that looks like a kid movie but it’s disguised and it should be a movie for everyone in the world.
I love death’s design. Has the sickle/scythe blades that hint at the Grim Reapers staff.. the hood that looks like the grim reaper’s too.. and then being a wolf (probably dire wolf with those red eyes) and you know.. dogs go after cats (stereotypically)… and dire.. a pun for die? :P you you make people die you are a dire wolf? :P (also sick is in sickle and sickness can cause death? Another pun?)
The Wolf is not villain he is death it self A natural force He may look like bounty hunter but he doesn’t burn in the wishing star barrier thing when the Big guy’s minion burned to death in that he was able to enter the cave of lost souls with ease I think that Wolf is a Deity of Death

Fun fact: When Death said he was there, he was indeed actually there. If you go back to the scene where Puss was fighting the giant of Del Mar, when the crowd was doing the wave you can see him on the top left corner in an alley silently watching.
th-cam.com/video/5fselllRsyc/w-d-xo.html
Whoa... He was being honest.
Someone said that Death is the greatest Dreamworks villain since Lord Shen from Kung Fu Panda and I couldn't agree more, I got chills every time he showed up.
Neat little detail:
Nobody got the wish because they all confessed their wish, thus breaking the birthday wish rule.
Oooh
Ayo
no one got the wish because no one said the damn phrase the map asked for.
Big jack almost got it, visual effects and all, and he told the cricket (and the cook on the cliff) his wish.
Nobody got a wish because they burned the map, which was the key and the receiving mechanism to get it.
I didn't have a Genie/dragon to interpret voice commands.
@@guardian4069 Dude, it's a joke about the birthday wish rule.
@@tjarkschweizer what joke? No, seriously, I don't see the joke. It is a comment that I have seen in several publications where they talk about the movie.
I thought it was one of those fan theory things and thought I'd clear it up with a humorous comment.
Did the message sound too aggressive? Was it because I used "damn"?
I don't know what caught your attention so much.
Death is not a hero either.
@@johnsantos507 didn’t say he was
@@ShilohSmith I know.
He is a villain lol
This movie was the complete package!
- The protagonists were all likeable and fun to watch
- The story was well balanced and engaging
- The comedy was really on point, I can't remember the last time I watched a movie that made me laugh so hard so often!
- The animation was F*CKING SPECTACULAR!!! Like seriously!
- The soundtrack was amazing; after I saw this movie in theatres, I listened to Fearless Hero on my Spotify multiple times once I got home
- All the villains were so well done!
Fun Fact:
The guy who composed the soundtrack for Puss in Boots 2 is named *Heitor Pereira.* The same composer who composed all the Despicable Me and Minions films' soundtracks.
On each of the numbered death cards that Puss has experienced you can see Death hiding in the corners
I agree!
@@desoaable Wolf is a villain for obvious reasons of wanting to kill Puss in Boots
Perrito is my favorite character. He needs to be protected no matter what ❤
The absolute legend 😭
@@SophieLents so your a Shrek fan and you didn't see the first puss movie???
24:13
That reaction of absolute terror when he identified himself... this villian is on another level.
A reaction like that is how you know how great a villain the Wolf really is.
So glad you got the chance to watch and react to this especially for the villain in it. The Wolf is probably the best and scariest animated villain we’ve had in years especially from Dreamworks. His voice, his presence and his appearance really made him a terrific yet terrifying threat.
3:39 He's still on the hook for everything Humpty framed him for in the first movie
May that piece of yolk RIP:(
The characters, the voice acting, the writing, the storytelling, the themes, the villains, the action and the ANIMATION! I felt so bad for him!🥺
My God, I can see why it took a decade to craft this movie.
Alright DreamWorks I'm proud of you guys, I'm down for Kung Fu Panda 4 and Shrek 5!
Are you surprised? This is the same studio that made movies with titles as ridiculous as Kung Fu Panda epic!
24:10
I have watched this part so many times already.🤩🤩🤩
Your reaction is so perfect @Sophie Lents
I just love it😄
Death is hands down the best character in the entire movie. Who would have thought that Puss in Boots would be this spectacular. Makes me love DreamWorks even more
he's interesting ofc, but still falling behind the main trio
Death is based on the folkloric character of the Grim Reaper, whereas the tune he whistles is based on The Silbón, a legend associated with the Los Llanos region of Colombia and Venezuela.
19:19 What? perfectly synchronized! I love this movie!
I sometimes like to play along and say ‘What?’, at the same time.
I love your reaction when the Wolf revealed himself to be Death
Death is really more of an antagonist cuz he just has a job to do
Even tho he cheated by trying to kill Puss himself
actually it was puss who cheated by cheating death and wasting 8 of his nine lives
what job he has to do, what's he doing in the movie is not his job at all
@@Dog1167 Puss did not cheat, it's something he was born with
Kitty didn’t chicken out for the wedding, since she wouldn’t have known he wasnt there w/o having gone herself. She lied to make him feel better
That's simply a theory
Indeed. Wolf is the best villain so far in 2023.
And he's an animated character.
He's more like a force of nature ofc.
Death isn’t a villain, he isn’t evil. He’s an antagonist, a source of conflict for the main character. There’s a difference.
He is a villain and acts really evil for the most part
@@zephyr9852but why the villain let him live? Hes a antagonist..
@@aglioeolio8494 wdym let him live, puss in boots beat wolf in the final fight
Deaths Whistle is actually Pop goes the weasel in a minor key and a few notes dropped, and whistled by the voice actor himself.
Whistled by the actor himself? Yes. Pop Goes the weasel? No. In a minor key? Very no.
Every time I see the sisters who bring the map to Horner, I kept thinking, "why do they remind me of the twins, Ruff and Tuff, from How to Train Your Dragon?"
Then I remembered both series were made by Dreamworks.
Sophie: "You're telling me his choice of a weapon is a sickle? That's sick."
Me: "...le. :^)"
After this movie, I now want to hear Death's whistle anytime a character dies in future Shrek movies.
YESS WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO YOU REACTING TO THIS FILM!!!!!
Same!
He is a villain, he's cheating, he is sadistic towards Puss and tries to kill him over some iffy reasoning
Death wanted to kill him, it can be seen from his words (in Spanish)
Your reaction to finding out the Wolf is Death is the best I’ve seen.
In fact, before they meet, when Puss defeat the Giant the Wolf was among the crowd, that´s was creepy as hell!
Love ur react!
Just…the fact that a sequel to a spin-off of a sequel could be so good blows my mind.
They're both equally good
I just thought of something.
Puss in Boots is fearless in the end
2:26 The timeline is as follows:
Shrek 1
Puss in Boots
Shrek 2
Shrek the Third
Shrek Forever After
Puss in Boots: The Last Wish
Shrek 5 (Upcoming)

Just incase someone hasn't said it yet, the first Puss In Bots movie is before his appearance in Shrek 2 (his origin story) while this one is obviously after Shrek Forever After
A really dark fact that I love about this movie is that Perrito's path to the wishing star was riddled with double-meanings. Pocket full of Posies is in reference to the Black Death, the River of Relaxation is a reference to the river Perrito almost drowned in, and the Path of Quick & Easy Solutions is a reference to "taking the easy way out," i.e. suicide. Its such a dark twist I love it lol
Death's whistle is chilling😭
Sophie's cat could not resist the charm of PUSS IN BOOTS!
The Wolf Death was the best part of this movie Sophie🐺 Even the whistle wooo. my favorite too and the dog to 🐕
Just because he has red eyes doesn't mean he really a villain straight up. He's just pissed off at Puss for not caring about his past lives. And also Puss in a way insulted him by saying, "I laugh in the face of Death." So basically, Death was teaching a very valuable lesson.
Basically he's a villain and a cheater
19:24 HE SNEEZES AAAAA- *dies from cuteness*
On my highschool announcements Deaths whistle started playing, most people didn’t understand it but I sure did 😂
I was saying this was my favorite animated film fora while, but now, afterg thinking about it, it's probably my fave movie overall
Fun fact about Death:
His whistling is a reference to El Silbón, a spirit from colombian and venezuelan folklore, appearing as a long-limbed walking corpse wearing a wide-brimmed hat and carrying a sack full of bones. But most notable, and what gave him his name, his whistling tune at night that signifies your impending demise(especially if you are an alcoholic, an abuser, or cheated on your spouse)
If his whistle sounds like he's near, he'll leave you alone. But if it sounds like he's far away, chances are he's standing right behind you.
Fat Puss was from Shrek 4, but it was from an alternate timeline where Shrek didn't exist
You hear whistle, you feel fear
This deserves the Oscar
the cat behind her sitting and taking a bath is so funny mixed with her comments about some scene in the movie🤣
Thank you so much Sophie! Best animation 2023. Puss and Kitty one my favorite character 🐱 ❤

But the wolf is. Not acctally bad he is good he is bad in his own way and good in his own way he just wants to get puss in boots to be grateful
I JUST WATCHED IT TODAY SO I CAN FINALLY WATCH IT WITH YOU NOW :DDD
yesss, the new animation style is absolutely *chef's kiss*
YOU USING THE SQUID GAME MUSIC DURING THE FIGHT SCENE ONLY MADE MY HEART RATE GO EVEN HIGHER 😭😭😭
Yesss, Nisa joining us for the reaction! XD

(also, i'm simping for both puss and kitty after this movie help me)
This movie goes hard, and it had no right doing that.
The wolf is not even his true form because he's the grim reaper he can just take any form he wants.
That's not confirmed in the movie
I would really love it when Death would appear whenever Puss in Boots is close to death in future movies.
That won't happen, Puss in Boots is practically untouchable
When he asked we will meet again right.
And puss bassicly said yes.
That means puss is ready to just live one Life.
Lol he was ready to do it like from the very beginning
I love death’s design. Has the sickle/scythe blades that hint at the Grim Reapers staff.. the hood that looks like the grim reaper’s too.. and then being a wolf (probably dire wolf with those red eyes) and you know.. dogs go after cats (stereotypically)… and dire.. a pun for die? :P you you make people die you are a dire wolf? :P
(also sick is in sickle and sickness can cause death? Another pun?)
It’s been so long since we’ve had a legit villain like the wolf in an animated film.

That's our faces too at that word alone. The biggest plot twist in movie history
Why does Sophie Just Predicts the Future every movie she watches
The Wolf is not villain
he is death it self A natural force
He may look like bounty hunter but he doesn’t burn in the wishing star barrier thing when the Big guy’s minion burned to death in that
