You can't starve a joint of PVA glue out by clamping it. Maybe with epoxy, not PVA. The problem with over tightening is that you can cause the panel to bow, which will suck hard later.
I agree with you on the epoxy and the bowing. I guess I should have put in there that it’s important to put a clamp on the opposite side with opposing pressure. However, I’ve had plenty of panels come apart because I didn’t allow enough glue to stay in the joint. Maybe that’s a biased opinion based on experience but it’s still something I thought was worth noting
as someone who just started woodworking, making cutting boards and my river coffee table, it was really cool to see you go through the motions with mistakes and learning curve. I think when my 1st projects are over, this inspired me to make a tv stand for us, ironically, to also hide a router lol
Don't know what part of town you are in....I'm near 249 and Louetta and you are welcome to come use my planar if you ever need it. That was scary to watch...especially with the gloves on!!

Love watching my favorite crayon eater! What do you have planned with that badass veneer you just cut when taking care of the thickness issue? Lookin' forward to the next one, man!
I’m really trying to make it where if I do have to do an epoxy or slab project that I still exercise the basics and build the base instead of just order one. I’m actually working on a cantilever base now!

@@lonestarwoodworking3810 you clearly made a wonderful box but it’s just bad practice to box a Wi-Fi router. Don’t make a bad trend out of a wonderful box.

@@lonestarwoodworking3810 I agree with @rcrogers6 idk for sure that a tablesaw would grab a glove and pull in the hand but I do know that hitting one finger can be minimal. I hit my thumb a while back and it sucked but compared to most tablesaw incidents, it was a scratch. I don’t want to imagine what would happen if a glove got caught in that scenario.
With all those stumbles and customer change orders, you persisted and produced a beautiful piece of furniture! Congratulations.
Thank you!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Great job thanks for sharing the good and bad and how you worked your way through them. Keep up the great work
Thanks for watching!
Really enjoying your videos dude! Awesome to see you branch out and also build something new to you and for your house too. I think it looks killer.
Thank you! It was a fun build!

😂😂😂 you don’t like my table saw resaw??

Some old fart in the neighborhood came by to get them. He makes rings out of veneer and though the oak looked pretty good
Time to get a bandsaw lol. That was a sketchy resaw cut
I know I need one, just don’t have the money to get the big laguna that I want
Great video once again, great to see you trying new things instead of limiting yourself to slabs and epoxy projects.

Nice box, nice narration but hiding the router in it defeats the purpose of a Wi-Fi router
Well….im writing this reply with full strength WiFi signal so I think its alright

@@lonestarwoodworking3810 If the gloves get snagged, your hand can get pulled in. A bare hand might get by with serious damage to one finger.

I should add, since you are "teaching" on youtube, using gloves with power tools is incredibly dangerous. Please reconsider that habit!
I appreciate the concern, but at no point have I claimed to be an instructional channel

Your right. And luckily I had my earbuds in.
