@@stephenlipton525 Yeah, I was thinking the same thing (in response to stephonlipton525). I have a drill press, a table saw, a miter saw and some sanders. No way could I replicate any of this. Stopped watching the video. Given the thousands of dollars of equipment this guy has, a DIYer like myself could probably come close to these results.

My father used to make furniture from orange box wood 2 X 1 planed down ,it was in the 50s in UK not much material to be had ,no such thing as an electric drill etc he had a hand plane ,a hand saw,a hand drill and chisels. He would finish the furniture with French polishing and like you he could create fine furniture from nothing. Built a desk for my older sister that eventually became my pride and joy lasted 50yrs it was destroyed in an accident whilst moving ,broke my heart. Thank you for reminding me of the times I used to watch him work and wonder what he would have done with all your magnificent tools. His favourite joint was dovetailing.

I have a bag for firewood on the workshop. A lot of my projects goes in that bag, at least one time , before I take it back out and find a way to fix it.. ADHD, unmedicated and bad impulse control, is not a great mix. But leave the project for a bit, go out, touch grass (or snow this time of year) go back and see what can be fixed. Don't let motivation be destroyed by minor fault. If it can be hidden out of sight, or only be seen if you point it out, then consider it as perfect!

I made some picture frames which housed 380 wine corks a piece and a sign for a doctors office out of a pile of redwood fencing scrap which I milled to perfection. Most of my wood I use is up-cycled and I am always on the prowl for anything I can find. I rarely get to use hardwoods. This video was a double whammy. One , a great looking table and second, a sweet ride. Love how you are driving around with it in park. My father had a 67 Impala super sport back in the mid 70's. Red with black interior.
Table looks so nice. One of these days I'm going to have to try using epoxy.

I’ve been woodworking for a couple years now and have built many awesome looking things with 2x4 and 2x6 . I’m a carpenter so I get the lumber for free after the jobs are done , which is awesome. And it’s cheaper to learn with low grade lumber before moving up to the expensive lumber lol . Anyways loved the video , new subscriber here ! Cheers

I would not say you talk too much -- your yak-yak to whack-whack ratio is much better than average. Clear & succinct without unneeded rambling. Keep up the great work!!

Thanks for sharing. I know you talked about moisture and designing for it. Did you use kiln dried 2x4s from the big box store. I know mine has them and I've checked with my moisture meter (out of curiosity) and they have moisture content equal to when my hardwood is dried in my shop.
