    Definitely a different way to do it. Previously, I would just create a full sequence in Koala and then record into Loopy Pro with all but one sound muted. However, the down side of that is that the piano roll in Koala could get cluttered, so any deep editing wasn’t as easy. With this method, keeping each sequence for a sound alone would make any editing easier. I could see even making a more straight on the grid part and copying the sequence to do some nudging off the grid. You could even record into 2 separate loops in Loopy and switch back and forth at times. The note repeat option on the hats was cool. I just recently paid for the latest upgrades in LP, so definitely motivated to use it more. Although I like things about AUM and Drambo, neither of them are as intuitive to me to get ideas down fast like Loopy Pro. I'm excited to see the coming MIDI additions. I use Atom 2 with it, but not as fast with that workflow as I'd like.

    Wondered how to go from Donuts to squares. Cheers. Definitely going to dive back into Loopy Pro once midi appears.

      I’m not using Sample Crate. Koala has options in the settings to use Files or use AudioShare.

    Hello, are you still using Drambo as your main sequencer workflow for jamming?
    Or have you moved to something else?

    • @bjamminsincebirth3494

      Drambo really never was my main sequencer. I do still use it though. I love the Flexi Sampler. I use Ableton as my main everything. However I’d say on iOS Koala is my main sequencer with everything else being used occasionally to give me a variety of workflows.

      So in regards to Koala, are you typically recording things as audio into Koala then, and sequencing those audio samples from there with Koala.

  • @lostinfoundation

    You didn’t mute the mic, you just turned off monitoring. If you want to not record it, there arr 2 way you can do it: by really muting it with the mute button on bottom or by not routing it to the color where you record koala (expanding the mixer with the 2 arrows button on the right you can route (or unroute) anything to where you want, e.g. set only koala to be recorded on the red clips)

    • @lostinfoundation

      When at half video you expand the mixer, you can see that the mic is routed (under destinations) to both your color groups (red and blue). If you deselect one or both, it won’t be recorded

    • @bjamminsincebirth3494

      Forget the mic…it recorded the Metronome too. That’s more of an issue than the mic.

    • @bjamminsincebirth3494

      My thing is that should be off from the get go. Why would anyone want to record the metronome?

    • @lostinfoundation

      @@bjamminsincebirth3494 the metronome gets recorded because it gets captured by the mic. Mute the mic or don’t route it to the recording color and the metronome will not get recorded (there is not an “internal” recording of the metronome

    • @lostinfoundation

      Unless you use the metronome of Koala: in that case the signal of koala gets recorded in its entirety (its metronome included)

    All loopy pro needs now is midi clips and it’s will be on another level. Love the fact that loopy pro has a timeline sequencer and bluetooth keyboard (qwerty) midi control. I wish AUM had these features because AUM is still a beast for auv3 connectivity it’s very versatile. 🎛️🎚️🔈🔊
