Midi Note 35 (B0) is linked with EXT SOURCE on SP 404. It's annoying that you can't turn this off but I solved it by using StreamByter (on iPad) and blocking Note35 on Channel1. Here's the working script: # Blocking note 35 (Hex 23) on Channel 1 (N0) N0 23 = XX +B

How come you don’t use Drambo as much? You seemed to have a good set up with tonality and the sp404 too. Ive been using this combo since you mentioned it but I’m not crazy about using it with loops, the lack of time stretching, and a few other reasons. I’m trying to find my ipad workflow as someone who’s uses Ableton everyday. Whether to keep it seperate or incorporate my mobile setup, idk. Drambo’s been fine for now but I feel like there’s better options. Groove Rider 2 is out soon though and it looks awesome. Hope you do some content on it when it arrives!

Thanks for the video. I've been eyeing this controller for the last couple days. The fact that there's a scaler mode included in the controller totally sells it for me. I bought Scaler 2 for Mac & iOS before moving to the MPC. I've also been playing around with Ableton trying to learn it. I currently use a Donner 25 key controller once in a while, but I'm starting to learn music theory and I MUST have full-sized keys. I'm looking to pair my MPC One with a midi controller to replicate the MPC Key 37 feature set. This is looking very promising. Thanks again!

DAMN 800 VIDEOS IS CRAZY! In 3 years! You made a lot of good points here. The adsense is next to nothing. Cant rely just on that really. And theres a balance between the love of this and getting money. Who out there that condems people as shills wouldnt just love to create all day and have that support itself? It's a wierd energy. Its wild that people take this that seriously. I mean i do take this seriously but not to the point of evil heartedness. Kinda like that guys video about Audiopilz video that was taken down by Teenage engineering. People went out the way to find his cell number and harras him...like your some kind of warrior for justice against synth TH-camrs.. man their is so many more important things in the world to make your mission about. Ill put my numbers out their NOT to boast but just to give people an idea., also because comparitively its not much at all compared some of those bigger channels you mentioned. Currently im making about $140 a month and all thats just an acummulation of all views across my channel, over 500 videos/streams. The most i ever made in a month was a little over $300 and that's when i was going real hard(for me) doing about 3 videos a week, because i was super excited about the key 37 and i got one in a timely manner. But the love of this was what drove it. I dont think thats sustainable for me. I also like what you said about not everything needs to be perfect. I agree with and have approached youtube in that way "learn as you go" too many finger pointers don't realize this platform is called TH-cam and not ThemTube and they seperate themselves on thia platform from the creators and so they make themselves consumers only and angry ones because like you said they dont have any content on their channels. Probably 99.9% of the time.

Just got the 49 key version recently-my first midi controller. I nearly bought an Arturia Keylab Essentials MK3 earlier in 2024. But I'm glad I waited. Those MK4-specific chord and scale modes, the step sequencer (if I ever figure out Ableton), and the split/layer key bed functions on the 49 is what sold me. I still need to learn to play better. But in the meantime, those chord and scale modes can let me "cheat" a little. I knew the keys wouldn't be as good as my old 88 key Yamaha DGX-505, but it's fine for the price. It was actually highway robbery. I was given a few gift cards to Guitar Center for Christmas, ended up getting it brand new for like $148. Can't beat that. Really happy with it so far, though.

So how many stereo channels do you get on iOS if you wanted to send hardware inputs in from external synths ?

In Beatmaker 3 you get a monitoring option.

Have you tried it in Beatmaker 3 the channel settings in that I think are clearer than AUM. May help sort out what is what. I think I used it to sort out the problem with the TC Blender puck in the end.

Had the same confusion with the TC Blender in AUM when I first got it, It wasn’t obvious which channels were what compared to it showing on a DAW on MacBook which was obvious and clear. Definitely a iOS quirk !

Took me a hot minute to figure it out but I love it! A for sure TX-6 Killer for me personally.

You do lose the tracks if you use the usb for interface. It was known when I bought it.

I have a feedback/playback loop in any daw Ive used the P6 with . Tried factory reset still no joy any ideas ?

I picked up the 49 mk4 a week ago. I love it. I had the Nektar LX49+ before. People complain about the screen but it tells me everything i need to know, i love the features and it works great with Cubase 14, FL24 and Ableton 12. Great keyboard for £225 uk. The features make me want to use the keyboard for control. The key bed is decent for the price. I would like eq - cue function in cubase and the mod and pitch wheel to be included into the midi remote but this can happen with updates. For a £225 midi controller it is very nice indeed. Can’t do this on MPC 3.0 beta😢 I miss being able to and hope time signatures come with the official release… work around is controller mode with MPC 2 software
