I looked up this tutorial at the grocery store and tried it. I was exactly synced up with you the very first time, even the beeps were overlapping haha. As soon as you started the car I started mine and it was gone. Well done
I did the same hahaha thanks for the video I've seen it more than 15 times it turned off and on again because the spring clock was bad it fixed it and I followed your steps again hahaha
I have a first Gen D22 2003 Frontier, and discovered this morning my airbag light flashing. I followed your instructions, but with little hope it would work on an earlier model. I have to report that it worked perfectly the very first try try. Thank you very, very much! 😁👍
Another thank you here. Installed a new head unit and the airbag light started flashing. Followed these steps and it's off now. Thanks! 2007 Frontier 4x4 crew cab.
Haha. I’m glad it worked. I didn’t make it work this way. Just discovered where someone else had shared it in a forum and put it here for frustrated people like me. Glad it works for you :)
Thank you sir! This worked on my 2005 Nissan Quest! The airbag warning came on after I disconnected, then reconnected the wiring harness plugs on the instrument pod.
Awesome my guy!!! I have a 2009 nissan pathfinder that's been had this issue for a while because of me working on the clock spring and I just haven't been able to get it. Thanks brother!
I had that problem with a 2010 Subaru Impreza 2.5i and found a link on TH-cam that said to disconnect the both battery cables and then touch both cables together for at least 20 seconds. Well guess what it worked and that saved me some money for not bringing it to a dealer or repair shop.
thanks for the video I've seen it more than 15 times it turned off and on again because the spring clock was bad it fixed it and I followed your steps again hahaha
Thanks for the video! Cleared my light the second time lol I also had the check engine lights saying 02 sensors/cats. P0420/0430 are secondary codes caused by p1800 code, Vias solenoid up top by charcoal canister/intake could be the main cause. Cheap scanners won't pull the p1800 code. Try changing the Vias solenoid before changing 02 sensor or cats.
Glad it helped. A bunch of things can cause it. Some serious that need to be looked at related to an airbag that isn’t functioning properly but some are due to disconnecting wires as part of other work etc. If the error reappears you know you have an actual problem. In my case it came on because I had disconnected a wiring harness under my seat as part of another repair
This is exactly why I love TH-cam. Thanks brother! That blinking light was driving me nuts. Now it's gone, thanks a million 🙂👍
@@westernoutpost4154 no worries at all. Glad it helped
