Nissan Frontier/Pathfinder Service Engine Soon light

This works for my 2011 manual transmission Nissan Frontier. Turn the key to the accessories mode, after the third beep press the gas five times. Wait seven seconds, then hold the gas down for ten seconds. After the Service Engine Soon (SES) light flashes turn the engine on and the SES light will be reset.

It worked on my 2009 Nissan Frontier. Just a tip,if not successful the first day or after multiple attempts, let it stay parked overnight and try the next day.
It worked for me in the first attempt as described above.
As I changed oil myself it looks like the service soon light is programmed to illuminate after every 25000 km.

My light typically comes on for oil change recommendations, however this light came on because I had a failed O2 sensor.
