Nissan air bag light manually reset

Resetting the flashing air bag light on a 2007 Nissan frontier. This procedure may work on other year and model Nissan vehicles.
key on till light goes out then immediately turn key off for about 5 seconds, repeat for a total of 3 times then turn keyon and wait about 10 seconds or so, at this time the light should be flashing slow. after about 10 seconds turn key off for about 5 seconds then start vehicle, light should no longer flash and stay off after the initial start.

it works but it keeps coming on after a few minutes for me.

If that is the case then you have an issue still, the supplemental restraint system is a constantly monitored system and will trip immediately if there is a fault
