Hdr has no issues on pc on a proper hdr monitor like the PG27UQ. Every hdr game runs perfectly just like it does on the console versions. The only thing is whether hdr in windows settings needs to be on or off for the games hdr to show up, hardly a major issue, it only takes 1 sec to enable.

If you have the graphics power though, the M28U is a game changer. I have been through a few gigabyte models and to be honest, even with the lower than others price point, they are hands down the best displays I have ever owned. A 4090 helps to push this m28U. Thanks for the review! Today I was in the demo room and compared the M32U and PG32UQ standing side by side and connected to the same computer. I thought the asus would be better, but its oversaturated colors can not be reduced in any way! That's too much! I realized that I don’t want to see such a juicy picture all the time. But on the M32U, everything is very balanced. A clear, moderately saturated, smooth picture is always. For games-movies-series and surfing definitely my choice.

Hey guys, can I make a suggestion?
It would be super useful for buyers if you could put a (subjective) scoring on how each monitor performs in the response time testing. For example, inverse ghosting 40% of score, input lag 15% etc etc. You could then give us a total “score” for each monitor based on their overall performance across all graphs based on your interpretation of what matters more to real world performance.

I bought this monitor 1 week ago and noticed quite high (compared to my experience with my old monitor) input lag, when playing on lower than native resultions. Yes, i upgraded to firmware F7 right from the start, so it isn't a problem with outdated software, but rather with signal processing delay. I'm writing this in case someone encounters the same issue in the future and to provide a fix/workaround for the given time. You can set the scaling method from "display" to "gpu" in the nvidia drivers, which completely eliminates the added input lag. Same goes for the AMD driver, but for that i don't know the exact settings since i don't own an AMD card myself. For some reason the monitor is slower in upscaling 1080p images than the gpu in this case.

HDMI 2.1 is not 48gbps but works very well with PS5 and Nvidia RTX 3000 series. My problem is, I'm been comparing the monitor with my LG OLED CX and that's not good because the OLED TV is a beast. all I can say is, for the price of the monitor (I pay $800 plus taxes and shipping) is not a good value. TV's now are getting real closed or better than monitors, bringing gaming features like low input lag, zero ghosting, VRR, ALLM, HIG plus you got Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos and apps. if you don't like big screen go for the 27 inch if you don't mind big size go for a TV with gaming features.
