Hi! Thanks to the comments I really appreciate the positive vibes. I believe those are the govee TV bars. I'll check later and update the comment if they're different from that. I still like them! Black Friday sales will be coming soon so that might be a good time to shop for them and get a good price.
I'm neither a TH-camr nor a hard core gamer so my monitor needs are modest. Having said that, I really wanted 4K so in February I purchased a Samsung 28" ViewFinity IPS monitor from Best Buy when it was on sale for $250 US (and that included tax!). Clearly, at that price I didn't get perfection but I got "good enough" --- except for the stand, which was a terrible, flimsy wobbly thing. But I watched your video about the Huanuo monitor arm and picked one up, and I've been a happy camper ever since.
That sounds like a nice setup. I really battled with whether or not I need the giant 32" size. 27" seemed sufficient so I think 28" would be a great compromise. Plus Samsung just make nice screens. Glad to hear you are still happy with the monitor arm! Me too.
I was about to buy Asus Monitor 32" ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM for + 10% on top of the price (~2k euros) for a 5-year warranty and after a months of waiting because of shipping delays I was thinking the exact same things as you did! So I called and changed the order with LG 32GR93U-B and I am waiting for it on Wednesday… let others worry about burn-in and warranty coverage (which btw no retail store covers burn-in whatever the case)
Did you get a decent price on the LG? Honestly I love this monitor so much. Don't forget your have to deal with reflection on the OLED! That is super annoying at times. I can't wait to hear what you think about it once you've had some time with it! I have zero regrets.
Unfortunately, it’s more expensive because prices in Greece are already about 15% higher (750€ + 85€ for a 5-year warranty). However, it’s not an unexplainable difference like 1700€ + 250€ for the warranty. I’m actually happy that I came across your video because you reassured me that I didn’t make a mistake by not going with a more expensive option… you are the best my friend! Thank you for your video! On Wednesday I will come back with impressions 🙂
@@FoivosAngelakis I look forward to hearing your thoughts! I'm using it right now and while I could do the tiniest nit-picking, everything is just really good. I can even game in 4k with a solid frame rate and a monitor that can handle 4k 100fps +. Finally the kind of gaming I've always wanted!
@@thesahdstudio The main reason for getting this screen was for studying and working (unfortunately my job doesn’t let me have a lot of time left to play), BUT next year I would like to make a present to myself and buy a new pc since last purchase was back in 2013 a dell Alienware R2, and I would like after so many years to make a proper PC build with a 5080 or 5070. Looking for a monitor to plug an M4 Mac mini and a Windows laptop into and I think this may be it. I only have a 2070 card in the laptop so not expecting to be able to utilise the 4K capabilities fully. That will be more for the Mac (not gaming). But good to hear that it will run older games no problem. I mostly play strategy & RPG games anyway.
I'm still really happy with this monitor and stand behind the video. Those M4 Mac mini's look sweet too. That'll be a nice little setup. Out of curiosity what mouse/keyboard combo would you get?
@@thesahdstudio I'm currently using a 27"iMac which has a beautiful screen but its a 2017 model and starting to show its age. Apple not likely to build a new 27" M4 hence looking at the Mac mini. I like the Apple Studio monitor but not at £1500!! I do like LG but now can't decide between this or the Samsung G7. In the uk that is normally £860 but is on sale for £479. The LG is just over £600. I use a Logitech MX Master 3 mouse and keyboard. Works great on bluetooth with both Mac & PC. Easy switching between up to 3 devices.
DANGGG!!! Wish they would put back on that sale price again! I've been spending hours everyday since last 2 weeks for monitor to buy for my upcoming PS5 Pro. Unfortunately this monitor is currently on 700-900$ Canadian 😢
Right? I thought it was a bonkers price. Couldn't believe it was that low at the time. I mean I think it's still a good monitor for the current sale price, but it's tough when you KNOW it's been cheaper to buy it. Good luck on your search 👊

Do you have Windows HDR mode turned on? I have mine off and honestly, the blacks look really good with this monitor. Not OLED black but as dark as they could otherwise. I'm still really happy with it. I have my Windows theme set to black and the start bar almost blends in with the bezel it's that dark.
@thesahdstudio yeah, I've been eyeing this model, but many complain about the fan running too loud, especially in quiet rooms. I ordered the older competitor/alternative Gigabyte m32u because it's fanless. Fingers crossed your keeps running silent
I too have an 32" 165Hz LG Ultragear IPS monitor.. but it's 1440p. Your suggestion looks really cool but its price is $1500 (US) here in my country. That is as costly as your OLED monitors.
I have returned the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, because of the price and the annoying reflection on the screen, now I am searching a IPS 32` Monitor for Gaming and Watching movies. Which one should I pick the LG 32GR93U-B for around 500 Euros or the Dell G3223Q for around 600? Dell has 3 year warrenty but has problems with 60 hz is better in HDR than the LG and the LG has a black line problem after 6 month usage and only has HDR 400
Honestly I haven't done research in a while so I don't know. Like you said Dell does have a really nice return policy but with that being said my friend who owns Dells has sent his back multiple times so perhaps some of their quality control might be a little bit trickier with the high-tech stuff. I'm really happy with my new LG monitor as well as my old LG monitor still rocks. Give me a lot of confidence.
It looks great! I did a lot of testing when I first got it but now that I've had it for a while and I've been really busy with the kids back in school It's mostly just getting used as a regular monitor and it's fantastic Zero complaints!
Seeing as it doesn’t have speakers, any recommendations for speakers/soundbars (Gaming orientated). Was going to get a Razor Soundbar buts its USB C connection, which the monitor doesn’t have…
I bought the Razor soundbar and returned it... for the price it wasn't great (in my opinion). Ok, so on my other channel I reviewed the Pebble speakers which are cheap ones on Amazon. In the video, at the same time I bought those on Marketplace, I ordered some Edifier MR4's, refurbished from Walmart for about $100 CAD ($70 USD) and they are AMAZING for the price. It's funny, in that video which wasn't even about Edifiers, they just stole the show. You can check that video out here: th-cam.com/video/VdDhS5qanso/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mnHq8yEf5Oo6IWoI&t=439 So my answer is try to find refurbished Edifiers from Walmart/BestBuy or heck, even Marketplace. They are value kings when it comes to sound. Hope that helps 👊
...it's fantastic! :) I loved it. Was it overkill? Definitely. Would I do it again? I would! I got my Beam second hand and a great price. I'm not sure it's worth the full sticker price though. On my other channel I reviewed the Pebble speakers, and while they weren't great, I compared them to some Edifier speakers I recently bought (refurbed) and for the price those are the best bang for your buck. The ones I bought were the MR4's fyi.

Do you by any chance know, if the monitor is compatible with the LG ergo monitor arm? My 32UN880P recently broke, so I'm looking for a new monitor I can mount on my arm.
This monitor sucks. I experienced TWO STUCK PIXELS in less than 140 hours of use: A red and green stuck pixel. The red stuck pixel went away, but the green one is still there although it's much smaller. Life's not good. Life's GARBAGE.
Was very surprised to hear 'I'll probably sell my M1 Max...'. Did I miss something? Then again, maybe you're just coming around full circle (to Windows). Forgivable. ;)
Haha yeah I've gotten back into gaming and I wanted to build my own computer. I was so curious because I was watching a bunch of Puget systems guys talking about how good Intel quick sync was for video editing I needed to know if the desktop was better than the macbook so use that as an excuse to build a new computer. The new Intel video editing experience is not as good as I had hoped but the new video card just looks so good on this big beautiful screen. I'm still happy with what I did.

Hello ; really like your content, keep up the good work , actually i had a question what s the model of your Lightbars !? Thanks and have a nice day
Hi! Thanks to the comments I really appreciate the positive vibes. I believe those are the govee TV bars. I'll check later and update the comment if they're different from that. I still like them! Black Friday sales will be coming soon so that might be a good time to shop for them and get a good price.
Thanks) have a nice day !
Me too.
GIGABYTE M27U, look to this if you want the LG monitor you might like this one better
Thanks for the share 👊
I still smile using it and boy gaming sure looks fantastic on it. I got my 4070 Ti Super pushing the graphics and it's a great combo.
I just hope you are happy with productivity work like reading, writing and making calls.. 🥲
@@FoivosAngelakis Absolutely to all of those things! I love it. And that'll be a fun build to do, I can't wait to see how the 50 series GPU's do!
I got this bad boy for 400 dollars will be here Tuesday can’t wait looking for some decent speakers primarily going to use it for xsx and PS5
Nice! That's a sick lil' deal. You'll have to let me know what you think once you get a chance to use it. You playing anything fun at the moment?
I’m just waiting for the ups ppl now got my speakers and At the moment I’m playing blk ops 6 zombies mode has been addictive for me at the moment
Do u have any settings recommendations for gaming?
@@thesahdstudio Thanks! I will keep my hopes up until the end of the year to get the same price for this monitor 😢 I also love that you use the logic of Toyota cuz I've bought my Toyota Tacoma for the same logic in vehicle's perspective 😂
Hey boss, do you have the amazon link to the monitor arm/mount shown at the 4:30 timestamp? Or what the name of the product is
Yo! Yeah I made a video on it with links in the description. Check it out: th-cam.com/video/oFvjDFZ4zvc/w-d-xo.html
Still really happy with it 👊
@@thesahdstudio appreciate it!
since 1y at least i'm checking on that monitor, but the 27 inch not the 32 but they still the same just a matter of size.
i love the colours (bit glossy) & the 144Hz + the 4K resolution.
I'm on ps5 rn, but next year i'll go on pc laptop gaming 1st with a display port 1.4 that i'll plug on my laptop so i can experience almost the full resolution 💯💯💯💯💯 (specially the 144 hz)
Hehe nice plan! Are you waiting for the 50 series GPU's to be in laptops or?
@@thesahdstudio not yet i'm not a pc gamer. But thx for the informations on the GPU's series.
i'll start 1st with a lil good one for 700$-850$ & if i love it i'll take a desktop in the future for 2.5k-3.7k$
Picked up a Dell G3223Q, it's ok for the price but the blacks are really grey and the viewing angles are not great. What is the LG like?
Do you have Windows HDR mode turned on? I have mine off and honestly, the blacks look really good with this monitor. Not OLED black but as dark as they could otherwise. I'm still really happy with it. I have my Windows theme set to black and the start bar almost blends in with the bezel it's that dark.
What about the fan noise everyone on reddit is complaining about?
On the monitor?? Haven't heard a peep from mine, it's been (and is) fantastic! Fingers crossed it lasts as well as my other LG.
Oof, that expensive?! Yeesh. Yeah I think what you've got is great and should be fine for a long time still. Are you happy with it?
@@thesahdstudio I am happy. I only play games on it and it's more than enough for games. Or I think so 😄
I have returned the ROG Swift OLED PG32UCDM, because of the price and the annoying reflection on the screen, now I am searching a IPS 32` Monitor for Gaming and Watching movies.
How's the HDR look?
You can check that video out here: th-cam.com/video/VdDhS5qanso/w-d-xo.htmlsi=mnHq8yEf5Oo6IWoI&t=439
So my answer is try to find refurbished Edifiers from Walmart/BestBuy or heck, even Marketplace. They are value kings when it comes to sound. Hope that helps 👊
How is the Sonos soundbar when paired with this monitor and a ps5. Is it a little too much for a ps5 gaming setup?
...it's fantastic!
That's really interesting. Thanks for taking the time to share. I appreciate it 👊
My monitor is still working great. Nice clarity, colour, and is awesome for gaming. I can't complain, especially at that sale price!
Do you by any chance know, if the monitor is compatible with the LG ergo monitor arm? My 32UN880P recently broke, so I'm looking for a new monitor I can mount on my arm.
Hmm, I'm not sure. I believe the monitor uses a standard VESA mount, or whatever common mount monitors have. Sorry to hear your monitor broke!! 😭
What's the SRGB?
I can't verify is this is accurate but according to this website it's 100%: www.displayspecifications.com/en/model/31a33400
I love this video...
Thanks for the positive vibes! 👊
This monitor sucks. I experienced TWO STUCK PIXELS in less than 140 hours of use: A red and green stuck pixel. The red stuck pixel went away, but the green one is still there although it's much smaller. Life's not good. Life's GARBAGE.
Man I would be pissed too! That really sucks. Dead pixels aren't covered under the warranty? Boo
No, the panel is BOE the worst, you can see negative reviews on how bad the QC is.
What's BOE? My monitor is awesome (for now) so hopefully it lasts for years. My other LG monitor is still solid so I'm hopeful.
@@thesahdstudio BOE is not LG like you get with nano IPS, many have reported issues with horizontal or vertical lines after 6 months or later. However it could be a bad batch and newer revision could be better but I wouldn't trust it from BOE from China as to AUO from Taiwan.
Supposedly it was a bad batch from 2023.
@@JosePto Still your getting the lowest tier panel, do really want rock bottom display for high price?
