Chair Yoga | Beginners Breathwork & Meditation for Seniors

  • Today we will focus on a simple yet effective breathwork and meditation exercise for seniors.
    Chair yoga incorporates so much more than just "physical movement" and in this video, we explore some of the other healing modalities of yoga. Learning to work with your breath is an incredibly empowering tool, which has many scientific benefits including; balancing blood pressure, stronger respiratory function, the release of stress hormones and so much more.
    We follow up our short introduction to breathwork with a grounding meditation for stress relief and presence. This class is meant for everyone and encourages you to utilize your body's superpowers - your breath and your mind!
    Add this class onto any of my other chair yoga videos or do it on its own for a quick yoga fix!

    I'm doing all your chair yoga exercise every day and it really helps me and regain my mobility. I'm 65 years old and have OA and RA and there's a huge difference since I'm doing this exercises. i have a Total Knee Replacement 3 years ago so I'm trying all these exercises because I don't want to have a surgery anymore on my right knee so this is my New Years Resolution for 2024, I'm feeling my right knee since last year so I'm hoping I will not have this surgery coz it's really hard. Thank you so much for having these exercises on TH-cam. It helps me a lot and to all seniors out there like me.

    Enjoy your videos. My 70+ yr old mother is regaining her mobility and her flexibility and balance are improving. Her leg pain is minimal now. Would love more 20+ min videos to build strength for seniors.

    You have set me on a path that I benefit greatly from. I have severe arthritis in my ankles and had to give up my daily walk. I've started your chair yoga and I feel much better, less pain all over. By the way, I am 74. Thank you for adding this to my lifestyle.

    Would you have any chair yoga exercises for constipation? It’s embarrassing to ask but I feel so comfortable with you & your community. I’ve seen some on TH-cam but I like your way of exercising. Please continue with your program, you have no idea how much you are loved & appreciated.
