Now I have to go watch a peek-a-boo tumbler video to see what you were trying to emulate. I’ve not watched tumbler videos at all but I’ve watched a looooooot of resin art videos… and I’ve never seen anything like this before!! I definitely think this is a first.

I haven't worked much with vinyl and resin. This is like my 4th time, and 3 of the times have only been keychains.
I definitely recommend it to take designs to new levels. And give it a go. The more you do, the more experience you get.

i love what you have done with this and id love to see more resin a vinyl creations please :) i have just bought a cricut so very new to the possibilities , but not new to resin and cant wait to combine the cricut and resin . im Donna too lol xx

That is a cool technique. I love it. One word of caution, the molds and shapes molds can warp on the heat mat so be careful. I ruined my coaster holder when it was on the heat mat, it warped. Beautiful tray!
Thank you so much. Im pleased you liked it. It was only on a very low setting, and I always sit my molds on 2 silicone mats so the molds ain't directly on the heat. I have the istoyo heat mat, and it was only on setting number 2, which is a very low setting. And it's been fine.. it's warm here too, so I didn't even cover the resin as I didn't want it to get too hot.. it's pretty, isn't it. The holographic in the glitter sets it off, I think. lol 😆 thank you so much for watching and commenting. ❤️

Hiya Donna. WOW this looks awesome. Love all the glitter. Who doesn't love that much glitter lol. Little tip for you for next time with the vinyl. Do the weeding before you put it onto your resin piece. That way there's less chance of accidentally scratching the resin. Just weed it out before putting the transfer sheet onto the vinyl. Hope this helps.
PS, you got the same mat as me. I couldn't resist when I seen the colour lol x

It's meant to be done like that becayse it's pointless just sticking the vinyl on with it all weeded before hand.. because I wasn't using spray paint. I wanted it to be done like this lol. I've worked with vinyl for a long time so usually when working with vinyl you weed before hand but not this method.. hence why it was my own take. After you spray spray paint in the peekaboo method you leave the vinyl on and then peel it off. So because I didn't use spray paint. It wouldn't of been a type of peekaboo it just stuck unweeded vinyl down.. and it wad a surprise for everyone watching how it would look. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️

I'm surprised that you didn't weed it before laying it in the tray.
Not meant to otherwise it wouldn't be my take on the Peekaboo. The original method of the peekaboo uses spray paint and the vinyl is removed from the spray paint so the vinyl that's left on my tray is my version as spray paint so the vinyl is removed in this way.. it was easy to do I never even plucked the resin and this is what I intended to do.. as the video shows
