Check out he video that inspired me hugely: • Resin artists, you mus...
In this video I am trying a second dipping technique using metallic spray paints. I have done some hydro dipping with Jesmonite on my channel before but I have never tried it this way around. A total game changing technique for your resin art.
I already know that so many of you will run to try this. Please share your creations over on my Discord when you do.

❌Yes cold water works best IMO. I do this outside with water right out of the hose. Also try making the tray, then hydro-dipping it.👍
thank yoooooo xxxx
@@ClairesCraftyCorner Sure, I thought that since especially Polyethylene resin was difficult to color, without the colors going quite pastel, then hydro-dipping might give it the colors that I was looking for…yes it did…I just give the piece a spray primer coat first, the color primer you use, will depend on the look you’re going for, and of course letting it dry completely before you hydro-dip…good luck.😎
Love these the pink and gold that is so pretty ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
that gold and white I just loved!! i’ve never made a single resin anything lol so I know nothing about it but I am curious is that like a jewelry dish? Could people just put their jewelry in it? What would you use that for? I envision it on a bathroom vanity, but can it get wet?
Seeing elephant 🐘 symbolizes your ability to overcome challenges, your connection to deeper knowledge, or a positive shift in your luck.
ooooooo I love this - I will take it :) thank yoooo xxx
WOW, Claire!! Just WOW! I can’t get enough of that pink and gold 💕 Thank you sooo much for the shout outs, you are the best! 🤩🥰
Ohhh,my! Claire, these are *GORGEOUS!* I think my fave is pink and gold, but the white and gold...oooh là là!
A bit of black with all 3 colors would be scrumptious, too!
I bet black would have looked epic with those colours!!
Claire, it is your channel. Obsessed is what I think of when I watch your channel. You continue being your sweet, happy, creative self. We love ya. God loves ya.
I would love to see them out of the mould. The finished product. I just started following your videos. I am an old Resin artist, but it's been a while. Love watching you.
The pink has a gold lady either running or dancing with a scarf/ skirt flying out behind her with her gold legs & gold face slightly turning in profile🎉 Saw your elephant as soon as you said... so cool. Thanks for sharing 😊xx
❤ The pink and gold tray the best. Great Job Claire 👏👏
Love them All, but yes, pink is my favorite too 💜
OMG Yes, I see the Elephant 🐘
And I would love love love to see this on a plant pot 🔥
Adding a bit of black would be really cool
Claire, dont sweat the nicks. You are making it look like marble. Marble chips.❤
Claire, I wish there were 10 thumbs up I could give you for this video! I love all of these and definitely see the elephant! Well done, once again 🎉💜💚🩵🤍
LOLOLOLOL Love your new words. These are wonderful. Yep, I see the elephant. xoxoxoxooxox
Yes it is! It makes it look like a marble tray that can be any colours you like, without costing a fortune.
Honestly, I did not see the elephant, but my husband did… lol Those came out beautifully…. I was questioning your decision to use white as a background, but as usual, you were spot on!!! From now on, I’m going to trust to process!!! 🤣
Totally in love! 😍 grey would look amazing as well, lots of marble or granite has a grey tone to it
Oooooo yes yes Grey 🤩🤩 I was totally thinking this also
Oh my lord Claire, I love all of them. They are gorgeous xxx ❤
OK, I watched Never Perfect’s video, she puts a lot more paint in the water. She had the same thing happen with much of the paint sticking to the stirrer when she marbled it. She just wiped it off on the side of the bin. I think you just need to cover the whole surface of the water with the paint.
(Try using a blow dryer on low to swirl the paint?)
😊👍🏻 P.S. Yes! I see the elephant! Cool🤗. I love your videos. Thanks to you and NPR for this technique.
Gorgeous colors, Ms Claire 😍💜.Love the patterns made these amazing paints in water, they came out amazing on the molds. The trinklet tray look superb 😍💜 and Now I also found that elephant in your tray💜💜💜💜
Love how these turned out. The holes actually give them a very authentic stone appearance. Wonder if some type of Eco pour would work?? 😍
I always wonder if one must remove those holes and how to do it but leaving them doesn't bother me at all. Is there a hard and fast rule about the holes if one is selling the items?
I went and watched Never Perfect Resin’s video (and subscribed). She didn’t seem to do a really big swirl like you. I don’t think it needs to be done especially with how you sprayed the pint in the bucket w the last one. I like the gold and white, but the pink and gold is my favorite. I cannot wait to try this. I think putting a really beautiful temporary tattoo over this before you put the topcoat one would be “stunning” and I could probably “obsess” over it…. 😉😂🤣
They are beautiful… I wouldn’t mind a few more videos. The results are spectacular.
I can see the elephant. Love these 3 trays x
Mind blown! 🤯. I’ve done this with mugs, but never thought of doing this to molds. Love these! Thanks for doing this Claire! They’re great!
Wow, the pink is stunning. ❤❤
All the hydro dipping patterns this time too came out so perfect,ms Claire 😍💜.The colors and the marbled effects, lovely 😍. Excited for the collaboration, but sad too as you will host this collaboration last time, can't wait for Saturday premiere 💜💜💜.Hope you have a wonderful week 😍💜
Last time? Did I miss something? 🤔
These are gorgeous!! Love this technique. Love the gold and white one. Great results.
Beautiful trays, Claire. I love this technique. 🥰 Now if I can work out how to apply it to a bowl. 🤔😊😊
Wow Claire these are absolutely stunningly Beautiful 😍 I love this technique 😍
From Pollock to Klimt! Well done.
They look awesome Claire 😍 I thinking Obsessed is more you lol 🥰 whenever I hear that word I think of you and your channel😃
They are gorgeous Claire 😍 ❤️ 💖 💕
Love the pink and gold one. Perhaps back the all gold with red or black or purple.
Very stunning! Maybe turn the mold inside out to marble to help cover the edges. I really have to try this!
Try a clear coat with the gold. Your two can spray seams to work. Avoid stirring. Just dip.
Beautiful Claire
Spectacular! Love the new words too lol
🤣🤣 thanks Tracey
Love this, Claire. My fave is the pink. 👏🏻😁
YES, I see the elephant!! And a platypus when it's on the side view at the end.
And i think the bubbles that left the edges kind of shattered, are perfect!! They look great with this technique!! More stone like.
Oh but that pink and gold really got me!! I'm a pink girl through and through. I am loving this technique and cannot wait to try it!!
Thank you so very much for all that you teach us. You are my inspiration, not just for the projects but for your happy and uplifting personality!! You make me so happy every time I watch one of your videos!! I'm absolutely OBSESSED with everything you create!! 😁😁😁
🐘💯🩷💛🤍🩶❤️🔥💯🐘
They are just gorgeous.
Hi Clarie try to spray it when in water with hair spray it's really cool trick in nails art.
Hi Claire love these and this technique 😍, i seen the elephant 🐘, i forgot all about this collab i better get my thinking cap on, thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
I am loving this technique! 😍
I wish I had a way to make TH-cam videos, I have been doing this technique for years. Ever since that hydro dipping trend hit. I'm glad u finally found it. I can't wait to see what u do with it (after the lots of practice needed to get it right) good luck
I have always used cold water and I have had good luck this way, metallic paints are definitely temperamental! Glossy top coat will hide your bubble holes.
I love the pink the others are beautiful I love the way they came out ❤ I’ve enjoyed this so much I need to buy more resin.
When you ran through all of your new adjectives, it gave me Anne of Green Gables vibes!
Maybe If you find an image of the elephant silhouette you can use your Cricut (eg) machine and cut it to size to overlay. Or a stamp from a set or temporary tattoo? Or a pen. Then topcoat. Anyway I love the marbling too. Thanks
Great idea! Must try this with my granddaughter.
These are beautiful!! So happy for you Claire!!
My very favorite is the neon trays.
Beautiful Claire. ❤❤❤ 🐘
I use Marabu water marbling paints for typical items, never thought to use with molds and resin. My mind automatically would dismiss due to water and resin is a big no no. I think I’ll give it a try.
You're correct, that last one turned out gorgeous and, yes, I do see the elephant. 😁👍
Huh... I think you need at least two colors to properly call it marbling which might be why you don't like the first one as much. Yes, it ends up as two colors in the end but the others technically have three colors in the end and, for some reason, three's in decor items are more soothing to the eye. 😅
I'm actually curious on if you've tried turning the mold inside-out to hydro dip it? It might coat the interior more evenly doing it that way. I think so at least. 🤔 The only issue is when to flip it back. Wet, semi-dry or fully dry? There's risks with each. You've got three tray molds though, wanna experiment? 😉
Those are totally awesome I’m like you I would forget to go around the edges to get the bubbles out because I would be so excited for the results lol❤❤
What a great technique ! part of the replay crew
WOWEE!! They look incredible.❤️❤️ Off to buy some spray paint today, just have to try this one.
Swirling the paint only seems to work on oil or laytex base paints that aren't acrylic based. Acrylic will cling to anything including the stick😛😁
I would use a wet silicone stick to mix the paint around.
BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤❤
These trays are gorgeous! 😍 Wonder if jesmonite would pick up the spray paint like resin does 🤔
Oh my!! I'm captivated as well ❤❤
Yes, saw the elephant! Thanks for passing along this technique of Never Perfect Resin!!!! Of course I’ve seen hydro dipping, but my silicone molds have never crossed my mind! I’m loving what you’re doing & love that other artists like Wendy at Toonpish called you out! I’ve said before that I love the resin/clay community; it feels like family!!! Much love, Debs
Wow! ❤❤❤
I love these and will definitely try this. It gives a very elegant look. I, too, would love to see this with a black background. Thank you! 🌻. P.S. I would live a tray done like this. 😊
Sorry I missed the chat. I was at the doctors office. Can’t wait to see what you make ❤
I love how how you are always trying something new and creating something beautiful
Obsessed Claire🤣❤️
Absolutely love these 😍😍 would love to see if this works with a pot mould. Loving the colours
I’m pretty sure she stuck her stick right into the water to swirl it. Not just on the surface like you seem to do, maybe try that? ☺️
I can’t wait to try this. Soooo pretty
Wow! Amazing results!
Wow amazing 🎉🎉🎉
Yes! I see the elephant.
Try with alcohol ink that would marble up for sure also nail varnish!!
Awesome results - think the gold would look amazing with a black background.
Thanks again
Love it ❤
These are fabulous!!
Love them so many possibilities
Claire W0W!!!! ❤ This technique is absolutely gorgeous hun! Ĺove, love, love!!!!! ❤❤❤
Truly love these xx
I think you need to go with the stick very quickly after spraying. I feel like the spray is alreasy dry by the time you try the marbling...
I hope you'll get it at some point 😁❤️
They are so awesome!
Love them ❤❤❤
Fully inspired ❤
U should do clear or light gray backs
Love them
😊😊😊
Awesome ❤❤❤
Wow, I love this. I've got to try it.
Hmmm...this tech might be great on Jesmonite!
Why not try with blue and greens to make an ocean marble? I think it would look beautiful.
Han quedado preciosas, lastima las burbujas que hicieron agujeros pero la piedra natural también los tiene.
I haven't done this technique but I do it for nails and that I use room temperature distilled water. Maybe try room temp instead of warm?
👌🏻👍🏻🤩
🥰
I wonder if turning your molds inside out before dipping would get you better coverage?
😊
These are superb. I'm a little worried, because I have a bad habit of buying spraypaints and painting a whole bunch of things with it. Seeing these is not helping any. They are so beautiful!
I see the elephant, but I also saw a dancing lady in gold on the same tray, and a poodle with a golden nose on the pink and gold tray (left side on the video).
It's been a while since I did anything with watermarbling, but I think using cold water makes sense. The paint isn't water soluble, but in warm water, the heat speeds up the evaporation and drying of the paint, turning it into a film, which then sticks onto the skewer. In cold water, the drying time is longer, so you might have a longer time to manipulate the paint.
I'm going on a weekend course on acrylic pouring, and I just started thinking, would it be possible to use that on eco resin...
I am seeing a pixie on a stem in the gold and pink.
❤ Blow the spray paint with a straw xxx ❤
