Check out he video that inspired me hugely: • Resin artists, you mus...
In this video I am trying a different way to hydro dip with Epoxy Resin creations. I have done some hydro dipping with Jesmonite on my channel before but I have never tried it this way around. A total game changing technique for your resin art.
I already know that so many of you will run to try this. Please share your creations over on my Discord when you do.

"They're calling it vintage and it kind of hurts me" 😂😂😂 Same Claire! LOVE the roller skates 🩷🩷
I spent my whole childhood on skates! When they paved over the bricks on my street, I was in heaven! How vintage does that make me? Thank you for showing me a new technique! I like the skate one the best. 💕
Claire, OMG, you absolutely NAILED this whole thing- absolutely love it!!! Thank youuuu for all the love, it means so much 🥰 You are inspiring me with these neons lately, neeed to try!!! xxx
Love the roller skates, takes me back to my younger days. Like the green and yellow. Innovative squiggles is cool too. 👍👍👍
As an 80's girl myself, the neon is my childhood. It was everywhere! These designs are so nostalgic! 😄
You can do this (on a smaller scale) with nail polish.... including all of those glittery/metallic colors that are amazing to use!
That's what I was gonna say too!! 😊
Rollerskates are so evocative of their hayday. I can feel and hear the rumble now!
Botanical!!! And I totally guessed the RollerSkates! I like the added colors ☺️
Those roller skates......OMG❤❤❤
Very cool. Let's go Tropical!
I live in Snowdonia and all around now are the baby lambs and calfs and everything is bursting with life...not the obvious choice for a theme , but it's our life here in the valley and I absolutely love it...makes the heart sing x
Can I just say THANK YOU for saying that about vintage!!! I heard tht term and str8 put my hands on my hips and said wait a minute I am not vintage!!!!
I'm obsessed!! My roller skates, back in the 80's, had neon green and neon pink wheels. These are amazing!! ❤❤
These are so cool!! Love them. Awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Love the roller skates, takes me way back. I had strap-ons with metal wheels till I got rubber ones. FABULOUS!!! 🙂 Love the squiggles and the green and yellow one.👍👍👍
Wonderful! As for the next season for you…. Tropical! Because you can combine bright jewel tones with the neon!
What an amazing technique of dipping in paints,Ms Claire 💜💜,perfect marbling effects 😍😍💜💜 and gorgeous creations as always 😍😍
Awesome video! Thanks for sharing.
I would enjoy watching tropical related resin projects.
ocean is always cool , love your enthusiasm.
What a great idea for the painting technique! I love the roller skates the most. Thank you!
This was such a fun video, Claire. Love them all, especially the video tape. Huge movie fan.
Really cool and bright..You’re lucky being vintage..I must be classed as antique now lol! ..these are really fun and will brighten up the room you pop them in 🥰
Love these Claire. Very nostalgic.
Wonderful video, Claire. I wish I had caught the premiere. ❤❤❤
Claire i so love yiur enthusiasm! I just watch sometimes just to hear yiur excitement 😊
These are gorgeous! Tropical is my vote! Roller skates and Neon. What a perfect pair!
❤❤ the neons got me hooked doing 12 colors balloon dogs keychains ❤❤
I think a season of gemstone inspired crafts would be great ❤
They turned out great!!! I even kinda like the green and yellow……
I love the thought of other colors to dip. I will change the colors to teal and a shade of pink. I am giddy with ideas.
Oh, how fun. I'm definitely going to have to try this one. They turned out awesome. 😊❤
Omgosh yes!!! I do remember those skates but mine were all white with a neon pink (had purple also lol) pom pom and a bell in the center. Friday nights as a teen, we would go to the rolling skating rink. Hydro dipping looks fun!
So I couldn’t wait to get home and try this technique! I did not use epoxy resin but used a ceramic resin. At first I thought it was a miserable and total fail. But when I unmolded I was so surprised at how beautiful it turned out!
I have loved this Neon 80’s theme
Great idea. I will have to checkout neverperfectresin’s process on this technique
STOP IT! I INVITE YOU TO STOP IT! stunning 😍 😍 😍
ooh I loved that video, fab idea for doing light switches. Loving the neon paints too
Claire, try just using white or black resin in the mold...cure it...then demold and try dipping the resin pieces. 😊
Gorgeous neon marbled effects trays and coasters, Ms Claire 😍💜.Love those stickers too💜💜💜.They look perfect and so wonderful under the UV lamp 💜💜.
And apologies once again for not being able to attend your live premiere 🙏💜
OMG Claire !!!! Those roller skates in that trinket tray are absolutely gorgeous…just as I remembered but usually with the brown & orange colors on them like you said 😂😂😂. Glad the Cricut had those designs ready to be used, can you imagine having to draw all those roller skates details all by hand ??? My hand will be exhausted by the time I’m done. 😵💫🤣🤪
Really cool! I would just love to see summer stuff ❤️
Those are so pretty! ❤ I think I'd like to see summer next, please.
Roller skates giving Xanadu vibes !
Love the roller skate
Oh boy I really love this and thank you for this game changer
Hi Claire, This is a very interesting technique. I love the trays! Jungle would be amazing for your next series. ❤
LOVE this whole neon sequence, Claire, but I'm really digging the roller skates! 😍 Sah-WEET, as my nephew used to say. 😅
IDEA: Make some Jesmonite trays or coasters...whatever. Pour water in them (not too much, just covering the bottom). Then, spray paint in blobs, tip water out and see if you can get those blobs to run? Maybe try on cardboard first to see if they'll even run.
OR, pour iso alcohol into a shallow bowl (I know...eye watering! wear goggles and a mask) and see if the spray paint will allow you to do some marbling?
Love the technique and the roller skates. The other ones, not my favorite.I would love to see sunflowers and other flower stuff.😊
All of those sound fantastic!!
That’s amazing Claire!! Thankyou! I’m getting ready for Kids Camp at my art studio and this will be perfect for them. I would love to see Botanicals and oceans! Thank you for all you do! 🥰
So ready for summer.
It's giving me saved by the bell vibes I love it
Love these claire, my kids, born in the eighties, had shell suits that this reminds me of. One thing though, the eighties was not 11 years ago, my kids have just turned 40!! 😂😂
haaaaa I refuse to believe it was that long ago ha ha ha ha
Adorable 😍
Love it! Also Maribu Marbling Ink works well for this ❤
WOW, Just WOW
Oh it's gorgeous Claire, love it!!! I think you could do cloud days!
Ohh i think the next season * Oceans* that be awesome !!!
I love this and definitely gotta give it ago.
Also I'd love to see tropical and jungle things ❤
So very cool, fab idea
Love this technique! Love to see it done on eco pour of some kind with metallics. I think beachy tropical theme would be fun to do
OMG, the memories! 🥰
Admittedly, I like pink even less than you like green (my Mami, may she R.I.P., overdosed me on pink as a kid and I've refused to have anything to do with it since I was about 11 or 12 and was allowed to choose my own stuff, lol) but the design and patterns are absolutely fabulous. ❤
You know, I actually still have VHS tapes (and audio cassette tapes) though my VCR is damaged (I'm hoping to get it repaired someday) so I can't even watch them anymore. 😅
The skates brought back so many memories too. Mine were more of a creamy yellow/beige/tan with green accents though because they were Cabbage Patch kids ones and I remember those were the main box and logo colors so their official skates were those colors too. I'm surprised that I still remember that so clearly since I was about 4 years old when I got them. 😯 Wow, so many memories even though I consider myself slightly more of a 90's child despite being born in 1980 exactly. However, the more influential years are generally your pre-teen and teen years so I really do consider myself more 90's kid. 😉👍
love love love the roller boots. mine were yellow, pink and orange. proper combo .lol. im 52 now and would still wear them if i could get some lol
Hi Claire love these and omg the roller skates bring back so many memories 🥰, love mine, need to try this , thanks for sharing ❤❤❤ xxx
I would love to see you do a 60's inspired series! And my god, were you around for the times before poly wheels on skates, and they were actually METAL? I remember skating around on the street in front of my house with sparks FLYING off my feet!
They look amazing!😻 would love to see watery effects! I think you will find the 80s were 40 years ago! 😂 😝
I like both the black and the white background. I saw the video you mentioned when it came out and I was amazed as well, just saving up some money before I try it myself, HAHA. I would love to see oceans next.
Ahhh I never had roller boots I had the old fashioned you strapped to your plimsoles 😆😆😆😆
Claire we are not vintage we are retro which is cool or so I am Led to believe.
I absolutely love this he green and yellow one it’s my favourite of all ❤
Very creative
12:12 How about doing a ‘Weather’ season? Think of all the colour options you can get, shapes you can get for example the multiple ways you can do a sun design or lighting or snowflakes. I know it may seem an odd idea for a project let alone a few projects, but I think it could be fun to attempt.
SWEET job - as my kids use to say look this is all new & nowmy grandkids say - look this is new lol - you know your getting old when it come full circle Hahaha
Tropical leaf/botanicals summer theme would be cool!
You could save some of the extra pieces, the interesting shapes for example, from the sheets like the one with the roller skates. Then you could use them in future designs. 😊
It looks like some waterpaint it's so pretty
You can also get more of a marbling technique by not just dipping down once...swirl your piece around in the water, picking up some of the floating pieces. It will cover the surface in more random patterns and layers!! 😊
You'll just have to do a topcoat to smoothe it all out when finished!!
o0 thank you Claire! I love this! I'm going to try it!! 😍
This is so cool! I agree. The things they call vintage now scares me!! I should have saved all my stuff from back in the day and opened a “vintage “ store now!!!!
I'm in my 70s. "Vintage" is a kick for real 😛LMAO
The rollerskates !!! OMG. Love that one. Perfect Claire. ❤❤
Just cool!! Great job!
Absolutely love the green and yellow, I had a romper suit those colours from bhs!! 😂😂
Love it. It is fabulous
Oh..wow..this is amazing! I love your creativity and energy Claire 🎉 Just when I thought I was done buying paints for awhile 😂 Tropical!
11:12 Have you considered where there are medium+ sized blank areas cutting them out of your sheet before you peel so that you can make use of all those unused areas? If you have some hand held shape cutters of different shapes or a Sizzix Big Shot Die Cutter which you can make use of these off cuts rather than bin them? I have transparent envelope folders for things like this, so if I am cutting out something & I only need small pieces I can root around for what I need in there. I do this with all sorts of scraps with vinyl, paper, card & sticky labels. They come in really handy.
Adore watching you!
Had blue suede skates with orange stoppers back in the day❤
Awesome results x
❤❤❤❤❤ This video.
Thanks for sharing.
OMG I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS!!! WIll be checking her page out and trying this. ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi Claire. Great premiere today. Beautiful trays. What about birds for the next theme. 😊
You freaking nailed this!! These all turned out absolutely fantastic! Love! Love! Love it all!!!! ❤
Loved the video tonight Claire 😍
Love it!!! So cool 👌🏾
It's been so fun going down memory lane. My favorite skates were Pumas they were black with green wheels and stopper.❤❤❤
So cool. ❤❤❤
I had a pair of neon green roller blades with matching knee pads in the 90's.....your videos have brought back some great memories......
All the talk about styles coming back reminds me of the song “Walking on the Sun” by Smash Mouth 😊
Oh boy oh boy am I gonna try this… it’s fun and juicy; absolutely loveeeee it ❤❤❤
Claire~ these are AWESOME! Brings me right back to my childhood! I LOVED my skates too! You are so creative
Thanks for sharing ❤
I think bright and botanical, honey!! No summer yet! Loved the roller skates. I used to skate all over a old building my dad worked in. No one was there except my and me! For hours I behold skate on the cement hallways! I was about 9 yrs old which was about 1977. Thanks for the memories!!
Ms Claire, your creativity is getting more interesting day by day, loved the paint patterns made in water and then dipping the molds in them. The trays and coasters look so pretty with those pretty marble patterns 😍.And lovely doodle stickers, the creations look beautiful in the end💜😍
Absolutely gorgeous Claire. Wow what a fun funtastic thing to do ❤❤❤
Ooo now then! LOVING the juicy copours wspthe green 😍
My son is in circus & does a skating act & his rollers look like your ones. His are blue & silver so not as cool as yours ❤ xx
