Man. I played through this game so many times. I remember how sweaty my hands were by the time I got to machine gun Willy for the first time.

The NES controllers were not that comfy in hand either so I imagine a few sores along the way.

Love Double Dragon and funny enough I decided to sell my Evercade Technos Collection 1 this weekend, which includes Double Dragon. For some strange reason this cart can fetch up to £90 and I was happy to accept £63 trade in at CEX. There's already plenty of other places to play the NES version including the brilliant Double Dragon & Kunio-Kun Retro Brawler Bundle. Great video and keep up the awesome work!

Thanks for watching and commenting! How strange that you sold that bundle the same weekend that I covered one of the games.

Nice video. I never played this game. As a kid, my brother and I had Double Dragon II and played the heck out of it. I don't think we ever beat it back in the 80's/90's. Had to use a game genie (or cheat codes...I forget) to skip to the last level and beat it as an adult. FWIW, TMNT III The Manhattan Project is probably my favorite beat em ups on the console...have you played that one?

I had a TMNT on the NES but it wasn’t the Manhattan Project. Although one of my favourite games is the TMNT Arcade and Turtles in Time on the SNES. I have the Arcade 1UP TMTN cabinet too.
