WayV is the 4th sub-unit of NCT, so all members of WayV are part of NCT as a whole, but the main reason why people make a distinction is in the fact their music is mainly in Chinese (cpop), whereas the other 3 subunits in NCT is mainly Korean (kpop). Also, their name doesn't contain 'NCT' in it like the other 3 subunits. If you want to see the WayV members singing in Korean, then you need to check out the NCT-U subunit which rotates between all (currently 23) members of NCT depending on the concept. WayV is sadly very underrated and people often overlook them, making them the least famous NCT unit. Lately they have gained more recognition because of the promotions of Nct2020, where all members participated as part of NctU. I hope this next comeback will bring them more attention. yeah WayV are a subunit like NCT 127 but I believe they don't have NCT in their name cuz of tensions between South Korea and China - if you're planning on reacting to NCT U as well, the WayV members are in NCT U's releases. (since NCT U isn't a fixed group but a name that any combination of NCT members release a song/album under, though someone's probably already mentioned that in a comment before lool)

The guy from both videos, yes it was the same guy, is Hendery. A quick travel to WayV's story: they debuted in 2019 (the same year as SuperM) they've released 4 CDs and they're having a comeback on march 10th. Ten, Kun and Lucas were already part of NCT through NCT U, and Winwin was an active member of NCT 127. There was this discussion among WayV fans and NCT fans about WayV being part or not of NCT, but eventually in 2020 all of the members became oficially part of NCT through NCT U. Kun is the leader of the group a great vocalist, you already know Ten and Lucas, Winwin is from NCT 127 an amazing dancer, Xiaojun who also caught your attention is the main vocalist and Hendery and Yangyang are in charge of the rap, and sometimes they write part of the lyrics of their songs. In this group they've shown many sides of themselves on several projects, Kun as a producer, Ten as a designer, Ten and Winwin as coreographers, Kun and Yangyang as composers, aaaaand every member speaks at least 2 languages, making a total of 8 languages known colectivelly. The funny thing is that in the begining not all of them spoke the same language so according to themselves now they speak "WayV language", wich is a combination of Korean, Chinesse and English. They've been introduced lately as a "global group" not only as the chinesse sub unit of NCT and the 7 members have been working on their languages, the ones who weren't fluent in english are mor fluent now, Yangyang is studying german and they've been practicing their Korean a lot (there's no Korean member in WayV so this is really important).
I love wayv soo much. They have excellent chemistry. They may be my favorite NCT subgroup. I like the relationship between them rather than their songs, they're really like family .

WayV is quite popular now. At their debut they won as Best New Asian Artist in 2019 and last yr 2020 they won Favorite Asian Artist and Asia Celebrity Award (Music). Their album "Awaken the World" entered in Billboard US World Album at #9. So they got recognized both in Asia and America.
Yeah, WayV's the Chinese subunit of NCT. The songs are in Mandarin most of the time with English and Korean versions occasionally (personally I love listening to Mandarin, but one reason the EXO Chinese versions probably don't have as many views is YT is blocked in mainland China). NCT isn't in the name because there's been some banning of Korean entertainment stuff in China due to political tensions. The ban seems to have eased lately, which is nice. But because of that political stuff, WayV doesn't have NCT in the name, they have their own light stick, they have their own fandom name (WayZenNi), are under their own sublabel, etc. But they were apart of the big NCT 2020 project, which brought all the units together for one big album and that was a lot of fun. all of NCT’s units are pretty infamous for making “hoe anthems” lol. love talk is arguably the most iconic one, but some of my other favorites are nectar (also wayv), baby don’t stop (nct u), and whiplash (nct 127). the fourth subunit, nct dream, are on the younger side and were minors for a lot of their career so they definitely don’t have as many suggestive songs. also if you want to react to more wayv i’d definitely suggest moonwalk and dream launch!!

People sometimes confused WayV if they are NCT's sub unit. Yes, they are NCT's fourth and chinese sub-unit. 4 out of 3 members already debuted with NCT 127 and U prior to WayV's debut in 2019. They are managed by Label V (SM chinese label) and they don't have any interactions with NCT's korean unit because of the tense relation between china and korea (SM didn't even promote WayV 🙄) not until 2020 wherein 23 members (all sub-units) is in one full-length album (RESONANCE). Only 3 members of this group are from mainland china (all of them are of chinese descent). 1 is from thailand, 1 from hong kong, 1 from macau and 1 from germany/taiwan. NCT as a whole is 23 members currently. They are a group that has unlimited possibilities. Meaning that in the future, they could add even more members. In fact there are rumors that a new unit of NCT will debut this year and there could be new members. And they are a diverse group of guys coming from all over the globe. They have members from Thailand, America, Korea, China, Germany, Japan and Canada as well as other ethnicities. 127 - First fixed unit of NCT. They are based in Seoul (127 is the coordinates). They started as a 10 member group, but currently Winwin is on an indefinite hiatus as he left to join the preparations for WayV at the end of 2018. Members are Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark & Haechan. Dream - Originally was the teenage unit of NCT and originally started as a group that had a graduation system. Once a member turned legal age in Korea they would leave the group. In 2020, SM decided to stop that system and just make them a permanent 7 member group. However they did state that Dream would not always promote as a full 7 member group. It would be depending on which members aren't busy. Sort of rotational, although since that announcement they have yet to release any album besides one song that was a part of the NCT 2020 project. Members include Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung. WayV - the Chinese unit. They are called WayV as at the time a Korean act could not promote in China. And since NCT is a Korean equity, they had to drop NCT out of their name in order to promote there. Because of that there was a debate among fans that did not consider WayV NCT because of that fact. However in 2020, WayV officially became a part of NCT when they joined all the NCT members for the NCT 2020 project. Members include Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery & Yangyang. NCT U - This is a free-for-all. Basically NCT U is a unit that is rotational. Members change with every song. A song can include 2 members or all 23 members and in between. As of 2020, all 23 members have now officially recorded a song under the NCT U brand. Shotaro and Sungchan are the newest NCT U members, since they joined for the 2020 project. Currently they are the only members who do not have a fixed group.

They are part of Nct but because of political issues between China and SK they couldn't promote under the name Nct (They were originally supposed to be named Nct China), hence why their name, lightstick and fandom name is different . Hendery is from Macau. He speaks Cantonese, mandarin, English and Korean pretty well. He tries with other languages as well occasionally such as Japanese. He is also part of the other NCT- U projects. You should checkout work it and misfit by nct U if you want to see hendery with the other nct members. He has pink hair in the music video for work it (work it also has ten and yuta). He’s a rapper and dancer (also an occasional vocalist).

Yeah, WayV is the fourth NCT sub-unit but promote under LabelV (a SM subsidiary) in China due to political tensions and strict regulations. Much like Lay, they had to distance themselves from NCT/Korean branding but some regulations that China had imposed a few years earlier were lifted in 2020 (though few) so they were able to promote in NCT 2020. They also have WayV content under SM recently. Only three of the seven members are from Mainland China (one of them is Cantonese, from Guangdong), Lucas is half Thai from Hong Kong (Cantonese), Hendery whom you like so much is from Macau (also Cantonese), one is Taiwanese but lived in Germany for many years (no one sure about his citizenship, dual citizen or not, as far as I know) and Ten obviously is Thai (apparently of Chinese decent). 'He's not wearing a shirt. Disrespectful' 😂 Ten's like Kai - always shirtless! WayV often are missing items of clothing like Winwin in Take Off! WayV use a lot of instruments in their songs so many like them 😊 EXO-M was popular in China back in the day though. Like, even with the restrictions China put in even kids know EXO in China. Maybe the International fans didn't listen to them, but they did well breaking into the Chinese market and remember that most outside apps and sites aren't allowed in China (people can go to prison for using restricted sites) so many foreigners don't know about their viewing platforms and how many plays they got, etc. Maybe I should dm you on twt sometime about some of those things... Hendery is known for having opposite visuals - he looks like a prince but is wild. Many fans unfortunately keep him in that box (he isn't promoted as much as Ten or Lucas which kibda sucks and also isn't greedy for attention so he often gives others the light to shine without being withdrawn which is great - his members say he is the type to keep the mood going and just a ball of sunshinebut people don't always get to see it...) so he isn't taken seriously or seen as deep by many fans (similar to Bsekhyun) but he is very musically skilled and has written lyrics for a bunch of their songs. WayV is seriously the best! And unfortunately they are VERYYYYYY slept on. But in my opinion they are the best sub unit. For me personally they are my favorite artist in the world. They are definitely gaining more fans but don't get the love and appreciation they deserve.
yesss, finally! wayv has the best title-tracks and choreos in nct in my opinion. the guy you kept pointing is hendery, one of their rappers. his visuals drew me into the group, hahah he is from macao, is really talented, he took part in the writing in 3 songs in their first full-album, so he's the most credited member(yang yang took part too). wayv has it all: visuals, vocals, raps, dance and even production. kun, their leader, produced a lot of songs and it's really into it, but so far sm didn't let him release any. we're expecting to see some of his work on any b-side from their next mini-album, which will come this month with their comeback "kick back". my suggestion for a next song by them has to be "moonwalk". :)
They might not have as many views on YT as the other NCT units, but they are quite popular in China and on chinese social media platforms, which is actually the main market of this group I think, hence the members are all chinese/chinese-speakers.
now that you have reacted to nct 127 and wayv, i think checking out nct dream is a must. aside from wayv, dream is one of my favorite unit. they just boost my serotonin when it is needed. anyway, they are the younger members of nct between '99 and '02. mark and haechan are also members of 127 but they alternate between 127 and dream promotions. songs that i would recommend are 'chewing gum' (debut), 'we young', 'my first and last', 'go', 'we go up', 'boom' and 'ridin''. you will likely notice how some members are not there. after 'chewing gum' jaemin had a back injury and was on hiatus for a year before coming back with 'go'. also, they had a graduation system where the members would 'leave' the group and graduate once they come of age, which is why mark is not in the 'boom' or 'ridin'' mvs. however, sm actually listened to fans for once and decided to stop said system and now nct dream is a fixed unit of seven members. sorry for the little rant, but i hope you are able to look into them sometime soon!! ALSO, wayv is making a comeback soon as well. so keep an eye out for them !!

The guy from both videos, yes it was the same guy, is Hendery. A quick travel to WayV's story: they debuted in 2019 (the same year as SuperM) they've released 4 CDs and they're having a comeback on march 10th. Ten, Kun and Lucas were already part of NCT through NCT U, and Winwin was an active member of NCT 127. There was this discussion among WayV fans and NCT fans about WayV being part or not of NCT, but eventually in 2020 all of the members became oficially part of NCT through NCT U. Kun is the leader of the group a great vocalist, you already know Ten and Lucas, Winwin is from NCT 127 an amazing dancer, Xiaojun who also caught your attention is the main vocalist and Hendery and Yangyang are in charge of the rap, and sometimes they write part of the lyrics of their songs. In this group they've shown many sides of themselves on several projects, Kun as a producer, Ten as a designer, Ten and Winwin as coreographers, Kun and Yangyang as composers, aaaaand every member speaks at least 2 languages, making a total of 8 languages known colectivelly. The funny thing is that in the begining not all of them spoke the same language so according to themselves now they speak "WayV language", wich is a combination of Korean, Chinesse and English. They've been introduced lately as a "global group" not only as the chinesse sub unit of NCT and the 7 members have been working on their languages, the ones who weren't fluent in english are mor fluent now, Yangyang is studying german and they've been practicing their Korean a lot (there's no Korean member in WayV so this is really important).
I love wayv soo much. They have excellent chemistry. They may be my favorite NCT subgroup. I like the relationship between them rather than their songs, they're really like family .

Yeah, WayV's the Chinese subunit of NCT. The songs are in Mandarin most of the time with English and Korean versions occasionally (personally I love listening to Mandarin, but one reason the EXO Chinese versions probably don't have as many views is YT is blocked in mainland China). NCT isn't in the name because there's been some banning of Korean entertainment stuff in China due to political tensions. The ban seems to have eased lately, which is nice. But because of that political stuff, WayV doesn't have NCT in the name, they have their own light stick, they have their own fandom name (WayZenNi), are under their own sublabel, etc. But they were apart of the big NCT 2020 project, which brought all the units together for one big album and that was a lot of fun.

all of NCT’s units are pretty infamous for making “hoe anthems” lol. love talk is arguably the most iconic one, but some of my other favorites are nectar (also wayv), baby don’t stop (nct u), and whiplash (nct 127). the fourth subunit, nct dream, are on the younger side and were minors for a lot of their career so they definitely don’t have as many suggestive songs.

People sometimes confused WayV if they are NCT's sub unit. Yes, they are NCT's fourth and chinese sub-unit. 4 out of 3 members already debuted with NCT 127 and U prior to WayV's debut in 2019. They are managed by Label V (SM chinese label) and they don't have any interactions with NCT's korean unit because of the tense relation between china and korea (SM didn't even promote WayV 🙄) not until 2020 wherein 23 members (all sub-units) is in one full-length album (RESONANCE).
Only 3 members of this group are from mainland china (all of them are of chinese descent). 1 is from thailand, 1 from hong kong, 1 from macau and 1 from germany/taiwan.
Fun fact: they are the most chaotic group of NCT 😊

Love Talk is B-side not title track. The title is Moonwalk.
They have choreography for this song but not seen in the MV. They've performed this song in Fanmeeting, Beyond Live (Online Concert), and Tik Tok Stage Voice On lately.

NCT as a whole is 23 members currently. They are a group that has unlimited possibilities. Meaning that in the future, they could add even more members. In fact there are rumors that a new unit of NCT will debut this year and there could be new members. And they are a diverse group of guys coming from all over the globe. They have members from Thailand, America, Korea, China, Germany, Japan and Canada as well as other ethnicities.
127 - First fixed unit of NCT. They are based in Seoul (127 is the coordinates). They started as a 10 member group, but currently Winwin is on an indefinite hiatus as he left to join the preparations for WayV at the end of 2018. Members are Taeil, Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, Mark & Haechan.
Dream - Originally was the teenage unit of NCT and originally started as a group that had a graduation system. Once a member turned legal age in Korea they would leave the group. In 2020, SM decided to stop that system and just make them a permanent 7 member group. However they did state that Dream would not always promote as a full 7 member group. It would be depending on which members aren't busy. Sort of rotational, although since that announcement they have yet to release any album besides one song that was a part of the NCT 2020 project. Members include Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle and Jisung.
WayV - the Chinese unit. They are called WayV as at the time a Korean act could not promote in China. And since NCT is a Korean equity, they had to drop NCT out of their name in order to promote there. Because of that there was a debate among fans that did not consider WayV NCT because of that fact. However in 2020, WayV officially became a part of NCT when they joined all the NCT members for the NCT 2020 project. Members include Kun, Ten, Winwin, Lucas, Xiaojun, Hendery & Yangyang.
NCT U - This is a free-for-all. Basically NCT U is a unit that is rotational. Members change with every song. A song can include 2 members or all 23 members and in between. As of 2020, all 23 members have now officially recorded a song under the NCT U brand. Shotaro and Sungchan are the newest NCT U members, since they joined for the 2020 project. Currently they are the only members who do not have a fixed group.

Hendery is from Macau. He speaks Cantonese, mandarin, English and Korean pretty well. He tries with other languages as well occasionally such as Japanese. He is also part of the other NCT- U projects. You should checkout work it and misfit by nct U if you want to see hendery with the other nct members. He has pink hair in the music video for work it (work it also has ten and yuta). He’s a rapper and dancer (also an occasional vocalist).
So many fans called WAYV as C-pop or Mandopop where actually they're a GLOBAL Group. They have so many English version songs, even their dorm is in Korea not in China. They only went to China when they have schedule. I heard they have temporary dorm there, not sure about this one.

Yeah, WayV is the fourth NCT sub-unit but promote under LabelV (a SM subsidiary) in China due to political tensions and strict regulations. Much like Lay, they had to distance themselves from NCT/Korean branding but some regulations that China had imposed a few years earlier were lifted in 2020 (though few) so they were able to promote in NCT 2020. They also have WayV content under SM recently.
Only three of the seven members are from Mainland China (one of them is Cantonese, from Guangdong), Lucas is half Thai from Hong Kong (Cantonese), Hendery whom you like so much is from Macau (also Cantonese), one is Taiwanese but lived in Germany for many years (no one sure about his citizenship, dual citizen or not, as far as I know) and Ten obviously is Thai (apparently of Chinese decent).

WayV use a lot of instruments in their songs so many like them 😊
EXO-M was popular in China back in the day though. Like, even with the restrictions China put in even kids know EXO in China. Maybe the International fans didn't listen to them, but they did well breaking into the Chinese market and remember that most outside apps and sites aren't allowed in China (people can go to prison for using restricted sites) so many foreigners don't know about their viewing platforms and how many plays they got, etc.

Hendery is known for having opposite visuals - he looks like a prince but is wild. Many fans unfortunately keep him in that box (he isn't promoted as much as Ten or Lucas which kibda sucks and also isn't greedy for attention so he often gives others the light to shine without being withdrawn which is great - his members say he is the type to keep the mood going and just a ball of sunshinebut people don't always get to see it...) so he isn't taken seriously or seen as deep by many fans (similar to Bsekhyun) but he is very musically skilled and has written lyrics for a bunch of their songs. He's a work hard, play hard type. Has a bit of a 4D personality as well though 😊

Yeeeeees! WayV is my favourite NCT unit, i think their music have a very particular sound, also The members ~chef kiss~ super handsome and super talented.
WayV is seriously the best! And unfortunately they are VERYYYYYY slept on. But in my opinion they are the best sub unit. For me personally they are my favorite artist in the world. They are definitely gaining more fans but don't get the love and appreciation they deserve.
I love WayV, their music seems like it’s more for grown ups . I love their team chemistry too.
yesss, finally! wayv has the best title-tracks and choreos in nct in my opinion. the guy you kept pointing is hendery, one of their rappers. his visuals drew me into the group, hahah he is from macao, is really talented, he took part in the writing in 3 songs in their first full-album, so he's the most credited member(yang yang took part too). wayv has it all: visuals, vocals, raps, dance and even production. kun, their leader, produced a lot of songs and it's really into it, but so far sm didn't let him release any. we're expecting to see some of his work on any b-side from their next mini-album, which will come this month with their comeback "kick back". my suggestion for a next song by them has to be "moonwalk". :)

They might not have as many views on YT as the other NCT units, but they are quite popular in China and on chinese social media platforms, which is actually the main market of this group I think, hence the members are all chinese/chinese-speakers.
now that you have reacted to nct 127 and wayv, i think checking out nct dream is a must. aside from wayv, dream is one of my favorite unit. they just boost my serotonin when it is needed. anyway, they are the younger members of nct between '99 and '02. mark and haechan are also members of 127 but they alternate between 127 and dream promotions. songs that i would recommend are 'chewing gum' (debut), 'we young', 'my first and last', 'go', 'we go up', 'boom' and 'ridin''. you will likely notice how some members are not there. after 'chewing gum' jaemin had a back injury and was on hiatus for a year before coming back with 'go'. also, they had a graduation system where the members would 'leave' the group and graduate once they come of age, which is why mark is not in the 'boom' or 'ridin'' mvs. however, sm actually listened to fans for once and decided to stop said system and now nct dream is a fixed unit of seven members. sorry for the little rant, but i hope you are able to look into them sometime soon!!
ALSO, wayv is making a comeback soon as well. so keep an eye out for them !!
omg im so glad you liked them!!! sadly they are pretty underrated compared to the other units, but their music is really great. I definitely recommend Regular, Bad Alive, and Turn Back Time and they’re having a comeback soon so hope you can watch that as well!!
Yessss! 😍 Love Talk is one of my favourites. Definitely worth checking out Turn Back Time and Bad Alive though. Haven't heard one WayV song that isn't ridiculously catchy
