"Love Talk" MV wasn't as extravagant as the other two because it wasn't the main song they were promoting at the time. It's from the same album as "Moonwalk" so it was promoted alongside it. The English version and MV is just a special release. The actual album version "Love Talk" is in Chinese. Its funny that the Love Talk MV has more views than MoonWalk, shows you how thirsty the fandom is xD

The guy with the nice earrings and amazing dancing is Ten. He’s one of the members in NCT U as well and has two solo songs, New hero’s (English, with an mv)and Dream in a dream. Also, he does baby don’t stop with Taeyong (nct 127) which is iconic
I think other people have recommended Take Off and Regular but I really love the self-filmed MV for Let Me Love You, which is so cute! They also have a MV for their song Dream Launch, which is also more chill, but if their MVs have a story line I think it starts in Dream Launch?
I second this, Dream Launch and Let Me Love U are basically my favourite songs, even though it's not really their usual style, the MVs are really nice too
You're already getting great recommendations from other comments so I'll just add fun facts about them. Ten's Thai by the way! (the dancer you like), he was the first Thai idol in his company and is part of Kpop's Thai line like Bambam and Lisa. And WayV is the most multi lingual group I know! Yangyang (main rapper and youngest) was raised in Germany for a few years and is fluent in English, German, Mandarin and pretty good at Korean and can say some sentences in Spanish. Ten's fluent in Thai, English, Korean and he learnt Chinese for WayV and is really good, Hendery speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, and pretty good English and Korean. The others can speak a mix of Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and a bit of English! Winwin also speaks the dialect of his hometown. They communicate in all these languages at once and their IG lives sometimes contain 8 languages! WayV also have 3 pets they're raising: Louis and Leon (cats) and Bella (dog). They're all chaotic and really funny. They have personal instas if you want to follow them!
Some people asked if the members knew what they were even saying in love talk and all of the members speak pertty ok English + 3 are fluent and I think some even contributed in writing the song which honestly does not surprise me. Just listen to Yangyang’s (my bias, the maknae and the wildest of them all)rap he wrote for Camila Cabello’s senorita you can find it on yt I think.. it’s INTENSE

WayV as a kind of project called RainbowV that is basically a free creative space, the members can do cover, original work and what not coming from their own ideas, I won't say you have to react to it because moat clips do not reach 4 minutes so it'd be great if you could watch those if you feel like it in your own time, but I wouldn't complain if you posted a reaction to "Ten x Winwin Lovely Choreography" this one is a master piece, and I personally also really enjoy Kun and Xiaojun's Red Bean Cover
I literally love the Chinese langauge so much. Whether it be Mandarin or Cantonese or others, I love listening to people sing pop music in it. So I love WayV so much. It is just such a smooth and pleasing langauge

ahhh thank you for checking them out, i've been looking forward to this!! wayv is my bias unit in nct and bias group in all kpop/cpop overall, i live for their whole discography! because of that, this comment will be long (sorry!)
so about storylines, there might be one? turn back time (tbt) is their most explicit storyline in an mv, with ten breaking the others out of prison and them all seeming to have some sort of power. (even though this was denied by xiaojun?) you could trace the story back to take off and dream launch, and their are echos of their earlier songs in their latest album. ultimately wayv said its up for us to interpret
turn back time is personally my favourite comeback so far, and i had the same reaction as you to love talk. its one of my favourite songs in terms of the melody but i laughed when i first heard the lyrics. Its definitely one of nct's hoe anthems, and makes me question my sexuality just a little.
love talk was a b-side that was released with a music video, it has an english and chinese version. Ten, Yangyang and Hendery are all fluent in english, so they knew what they were doing!
moonwalk and love talk were in the same era, and turn back time is their latest comeback, so they all look a bit different in the last mv.

Winwin: had light brown hair and a bat in moonwalk, was the one you thought was earing guy in tbt, had short hair and was in chain room - lead dancer (trained in traditional Chinese dance), vocalist and sub rapper. has been in nct u and is in 127 as well but stopped promoting with them when he joined wayv.
lucas: guy with the lips, light brown hair in moonwalk, white hair and no shirt in tbt. the guy whos rap tone you liked - center, lead rapper (seriously his voice is so deep and distinct), the guy whos visuals catch everyones attention. has also been in nct u and superm
the next three were new members who debuted in wayv
xiaojun: white hair in moonwalk, silver in tbt, the other guy who's voice you liked - a main vocal who often does insane high notes and has such a beautiful voice. is just in wayv
hendery: has dark brown long-ish hair in all videos, was the one in the water in tbt - lead rapper and dancer, is nicknamed prince eric because his visuals are stunning and he looks like prince eric from the little mermaid. is just in wayv
yangyang: the one with light orange hair in moonwalk and brown with white highlights
in tbt, was in the grafitied glow in the dark room - the maknae and main rapper, lived in germany for 6 years so speaks german! is just in wayv

Take Off is not their debut! Can you please correct this? The members have celebrated their 100 days since debut last April, and they had a 1-year since debut celebration in January 2020, because their debut date is January 17th 2019! It's the official debut and the only one. This "non-debut" is a lie/confusion spread by the fandom because of 1 article that got it wrong. SM, Label V, variety shows where they go like The Show, official interviews mention many times their debut date is January 17th. The members reference their debut date a lot too and they've said that date Jan 17 means a lot to them (Ten just said so again in an interview last week to explain why he loves January, because it's their debut month). You should edit your comment and check out WayV content, the posts celebrating as well as all their mentions about it. This false fandom rumor does nothing for WayV, and the real debut date is significant to them.

Since there are so many comments on the members and all, I shall do an introduction of the message behind their songs then! WayV is an acronym for We Are Your Vision. This group has an ambition to strive for international recognition and so their title tracks tend to revolve around this idea. Moonwalk is about them wanting to take over the moon and taking the first step on the moon. Turn Back Time is about reinvention and awakening the world with their journey back time. Love Talk has nothing to do with this ambition though... It is purely a sex song HAHAHHAHAA.

Moonwalk's opening got me hooked. Still one of my favorites from WayV.
Heeeey 💜 they are really good, I hope people would appreciate them more. By the way, I love how you start your videos, your voice is so calming haha. Anyways, maybe someone else already said it, but in this group, 4 members already had participed in other NCT units. Earring guy name is Ten, and he was part of NCT U (and also has amazing solo videos, u should watch Dream on a Dream and New Heroes, chef kiss to both), deep voice rapping one is Lucas, who also was part of NCT U, WinWin (the chained one in "Turn Back Time") was part of NCT127 and NCT U and is an amazing dancer (He did a collab with Ten on a choreography for Lovely, by Khalid and Billie Eilish), sadly he didn't get much lines while on NCT 127, but now he is SHINING! And last but not least, Kun (the one in the slashed room in turn back time, with the amazing voice) participed in one song in NCT U too. The other 3 debuted in this group, Yang Yang is the one rapper in the UV room and is the youngest of them, Xiaojun is the one with the amazing vocals (in the room filled with pipes and steam) and Hendery is the rapper who is in something like a pool or tank. WayV is a very close knit group, a family to each other (with 3 pets!). Aside of being multilingual kings, they shine individually in their respective areas also:
*Kun (leader)* - wonderful music producer. You will find a lot of his creative stuff under WayV's TH-cam series 'Play V' (which showcase the members' own creative works), or under his SoundCloud account. Kun also has a self-produced vlog series called 'Kun's Cloud' on his IG, but you can find fan-made subbed versions on YT instead. Recently he produced a track for Xiaojun's dance practice and you can find it on XJ's IG account. 😊
*Ten* - aside of being an amazing dancer he is also a scarily good pet trainer. You can check out the members' IG to know what I am talking about hehe. Whilst Kun produced the bgm for XJ's dance practice, Ten created the choreography! (WayV self-produce kings!)
*Winwin* - very elegant and has a very kind character, with hints of cheekiness 😏. He is a classically trained dancer, please check out his duo with Ten!
*Lucas* - the model of our group! The energetic boy that cheers everyone up. A very captivating dancer and has a very unique rap tone (as you have already noticed).

Wayv's songs are definitely more catchy than the others.
a couple guide recommendations: for a detailed guide on each of the subunits i highly recommend the ones by softjun, there's a separate one for each unit (nct 127, dream, wayv), they're super ddetailed and they're really great for learning the members and each of their personalities!
theres a brand new one by kpopluv that introduces nct as a whole group, less about the members individually but more about how the subunits are split, etc. it's not bad for basic info!
then if you want one guide that has all the nct members in it (more members but less detailed than the subunit guides) i recommend "this video will make you fall in love with all 18 nct members"- i think it's super funny and accurate however it is not updated (it was published before wayv debuted) so three of the chinese members are not in that guide!
just some options if you want to learn the members :) learning nct takes a while even if you're used to learning big groups bc nct is a whole different level of big lmao- be patient and you'll get it!! it's so worth it tho, all of them are so talented and funny!! love your reactions by the way :) excited to see you start ur nct journey!
I do absolutely recommend the softjun guides, however the wayv one was made not -that- long after their debut, and I feel like we learned a lot more about them (or they came more into themselves) in the meantime. I'm pretty sure Softjun is in the progress of updating the guides, she already did an updated one for dream, so I would say; keep your eyes open for that ^_^

for love talk, or singles in general , most of them are under production like. the companies usually put more effort into album mv’s and title tracks. but some companies do come through with high production 👀

Yes, the "Love Talk" MV is the English version of the song. Hehehe. But if you were to listen to the album you would hear that they also have a Mandarin Chinese version as well. They just chose to only make an MV for the English version.
Because WayV (which stands for We Are Your Vision) is part of NCT, NCT's whole dream concept is also part of WayV's storyline and concept. As with everything NCT does, it all has to do with dreams, dreaming or something to do with being in a dream state. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's storyline also connects to EXO's storyline, just like how many believe that Red Velvet is also connected to EXO's storyline. I think that SM may even have set it up so that at least all of their third generation groups have storylines that connect, link together and intertwine.
Since the creation of SuperM, where they are now taking members from each of SM's most popular groups and creating an Avengers super group, I think that was SM's first indication that from now on we need to pay attention, because all of its groups' MVs are somehow connected. If the Avengers are coming together to help EXO stop the Red Force, I think the members who are part of SuperM are the liaisons who are helping to connect all the groups -- EXO, Taemin/SHINee, NCT and WayV -- together. For example, right after SuperM released "Jopping," WayV came out with "Moonwalk" and I think "Moonwalk" is pretty much a continuation of "Jopping's" storyline, and now I think "Turn Back Time" is also part of that story.
To help explain, I think EXO are the ones who are members of SuperM and they are working with the other "Avengers" members to try and stop X-EXO. If you pay attention to what Kai and Baekhyun are wearing in the "Jopping" MV, their outfits are very similar to the all black outfits they are wearing in "Obsession " -- Kai even wears the same parachute backpack in both MVs -- which seems to indicate then that the version of Kai and Baekhyun in SuperM are the EXO members who are the good guys.
Because in "Obsession" the members in all black are supposed to be EXO and the members in the colorful outfits with the crazy hair and makeup are the X-EXO members who have been created by the Red Force.
As the "Avengers" of Kpop, each of the members of SuperM, not just the EXO members, are supposed to be superheros. The concept for SuperM is supposed to be like the Avengers, so, I see it as each of the members are a different kind of superhero that make up the larger "Avengers" group, just like how the Marvel Avenger members come together from all walks of life with all different abilities and powers, etc. to make up one big super group.
And just like the Marvel Avengers members each have their own Superhero story, when they come together to form The Avengers they combine their story and concept and weave elements of each of the member's backstories, etc. into The Avengers storyline.
Also, just like how the Marvel Avengers come together to combine their strengths and powers to help fight Thanos, I see parallels with what SM is doing with SuperM's storyline. SuperM is taking the "best" members from each group and joining forces to take down the Red Force. And just like how the movies "Avenger's Identity War" and "Avengers Endgame" eventually had each of the members recruiting their whole crew to help in the fight, I think SM is setting it up so that all of its groups members will eventually be brought into the fight.
So on that note, I think people need to pay attention to all of the storylines with all of SM's groups, because I think at least all of SM's third generation groups' MVs and storylines are being designed to connect stories and plots. Each group has their own individual storyline and concept, but when you put them all together there are threads of connection between the groups. And that includes EXO, Red Velvet, NCT/WayV, and maybe even Taemin's solo work (and possibly -- but not 100% sold on the idea -- even eventually SHINee, even though they are technically 2nd generation. Even though SHINee are second gen, they actually fit within the age group of third generation groups, so they sort of bridge that gap between 2nd and 3rd gen. So who knows, when SHINee comes back maybe SM will draw them into the storyline as well.)
