Beijing in Northern part of China is the capital of China. Hong Kong and Macao are both located in the South and used to be part of the U.K and Portugal respectively until their turnover back to China in 1997 & 1999. Citizens of those 2 Chinese administrative regions were eligible for British & Portuguese special citizenship before the turnover. They have their own currencies separate from the Chinese mainland one. Macao or Macau have a creole dialect based on Portuguese and they are known to be the Las Vegas of Asia because of its clusters of casinos, hotel-resorts and enterntainment attractions. When visiting China, Macao & Hong Kong you have to go through each ones immigration when tranferring between these three. Southern China, Hong Kong and Macao speaks Cantonese while majority of Mainland China & Taiwan speaks Mandarin.
Macau is a region in China next to Hong Kong. (I'm a hongkonger haha) Hong Kong is a SAR (special administrative region) of China. Both Macanese and Hongkongers speak Cantonese along with the Guangdong province of mainland China, so Lucas, Xiaojun and Hendery all speak Cantonese. Macau, Hong Kong and Taiwan use traditional chinese characters while the rest of China use simplified characters. So Lucas, Hendery and Yangyang write and type in traditional characters.
Fun fact: As you heard, the MV for WayV's "Love Talk" is an all-English version, but -- because WayV is the Chinese sub-unit of NCT -- if you listen to the album, you will see there is a Mandarin version of the song, as well. SM just chose to only make an MV for the English version.
Because WayV -- which stands for We Are Your Vision in English -- is part of NCT, NCT's whole dream concept is also part of WayV's storyline and concept. As with everything NCT does, it all has to do with dreams, dreaming or something to do with being in a dream state. Some fans who are into SM group theories have also speculated that NCT's storyline also connects to EXO's storyline.
Therefore, I think in WayV's "Love Talk" MV you are supposed to interpret it as if you are inside a dream. I see the cube that is floating in the air as part of SM's labyrinth concept where, like EXO, they might be trapped inside a maze. Which, if the maze is part of the Red Forces' plot, could be why they are in a foggy dream state. In EXO's storyline it is thought that the Red Force has trapped EXO in a maze and the maze dulls EXO's sense and makes it so they are unable to fight back. We often see the EXO members in a sleepy dazed state because they are under the Red Forces' control. And now with the release of aespa's recent "aespa ep. 2 'Next Level' -- SM Culture Universe" video, it looks like that same floating labyrinth cube that we see in "Love Talk" is what blocks aespa's way as they travel through Kwangya. (And we even see this same cube in SHINee Key's recent solo "Gasoline" MV.)
The only reason why WayV doesn't have NCT in their name like the other NCT sub-units is because, at the time of their debut, there was a lot of political issues between Korea and China, and because of that Korean companies were not able to work in China. NCT's Chinese sub-unit has been going to debut for years, but with all the political issues it took SM a long time to find a way to work around all the rules the Chinese government put in place to prevent its native Chinese citizens from working with anyone associated with Korea and preventing anyone who was working with a Korean company from working in China.
Therefore, in order to circumvent some of China's restrictions, SM found/created a Chinese company that was willing to take on NCT's Chinese sub-unit, but also allow SM to have a say in the group's concept and promotion activities. Part of how they get around the rules is they gave the group a name that distances them from their Korean roots. (That is also why WayV's Chinese fans are called WayZenNi instead of NCTzens and why WayV has their own lightstick design that is different than NCT's) The company WayV is under is called Label V, which is part of SM, but separate from the Korean branch of the company and it produces songs in Mandarin to keep the Chinese government happy. All the members of WayV also speak Mandarin and have some connection to Chinese heritage, but most of the members are not native mainland Chinese citizens, so this gives them some immunity from the Chinese government. But they are representing China and they are promoting Chinese culture, so the Chinese government kind of turned a blind eye to the fact that they are technically still under a Korean company, as long as they hid any connection to their Korean company while doing promotions in China.
As you can see, not only do the WayV members speak, Mandarin, Korean and English, but they are a very international group that speaks many languages.
So, pretty much all of WayV's songs are in Mandarin with a few English lyrics and words mixed in. (Except when it's an English version, such as "Bad Alive" or, as you heard, their all-English version of "Love Talk," or their new song "Miracle", or if you happen to pick the Korean versions of "Turn Back Time" or "Kick Back.") LOL
Because WayV is the Chinese unit, but they are releasing music in Korea and promoting in Korea, not specifically in China, makes it so SM is more likely to produce the song in English. Hence, why the majority of WayV's songs lately are English songs, because -- due to the pandemic, political issues and WinWin busy with solo activities in China, etc. -- they aren't promoting as a group in China right now. I think it helps SM avoid any crossover issues with Korea that might make it more difficult for them to promote in China, if and when they eventually get back to their Chinese roots as a group.
All of the units are funny and chaotic but WayV is Hilarious. Even Heachan can't stand them 😅
WayV has witty members so they always have engaging contents. Of course Dream Plan is a must-see to really understand them individually and as a group. But for shorter contents, Winformation (top 3 most viewed episodes including WayV Disney Princesses) easily proves how naturally funny the boys are. Home with WayV was funny as hell too😂
It's like the US/Puerto Rico. The US says Puerto Rico belongs to them, I don't think Puerto Rico would agree. It's a lot more complicated than that because of the history ec but this is usually how I try to explain it to my american friends in short who don't have interest in politics.
In testament to the state of our public school system, a LOT of my fellow Americans aren't even aware that Puerto Rico is a US territory. 😂😂 So that alone would be news to them! 🤦♀

The capital of China is Beijing. Macau is another special administrative region in China and used to be a Portuguese colony. I'm not Chinese but this is what I do know.

Yeah sorry for the spoiler it's Dream. Why? Bc unlike 127 where they are trying to calm Haechan down, in Dream Haechan has fellow instigators. They are the chaos gremlins. It is a tight race, but yeah it's Dream for sure.
