Unfortunately, achieving this effect requires using Auto-Tune. However, there are more affordable versions like Auto-Tune Access, which can produce a similar effect for around $50
Hey, what’s up, amazing video, but I do have a problem. I can’t see and I’ve been engineering music for a very long time and my techniques are amazing when it comes to mastering, would love to know since I do use pro tools. And of course I have all the waves. Is there any possible chance that you create this vocal template for me so that way I can open it up and see exactly what is plugging is doing since I’m not able to follow you it would be such an amazing help. Let me know if you’re able to do something like this for me.😵
Hey can you make a video going thru post Malones current vocal treatment because I found articles but they reference old records and not his current sound. Same thing with Ty Dolla Sign, unlike post Malone there’s actually no articles or quotes from his engineer about how his vocals are treated. only that he uses the C800g which I gathered by watching a recent studio session video. Thoughts? Thanks, Vicu🤟🏼
@@1KriticalShoota I mean, that's fine. I'm doing this job from 15 years and it kinda makes me sad when tutorials are, as i said, "overcomplicated for no good reasons". Mixing is not rocket science and tutorials are meant for everybody to understand. People will try to emulate this chain blindly without asking themselves "why am I doing this (or that)". These are just my two cents. But anyway, thanks Yeckxo for put effort into the making of this video.
I think what we could get out of this is to use compression to make the vocal extremely upfront and "dry" in your face. Almost too much, then using BRIGHT reverbs with no pre-delay to smear the attack a little bit to taste while making it still seem bright in the track and giving a little bit more of a stereo feel to it. That's what I get from this, in my very humble opinion.
Haha, while I acknowledge that there are many amazing plugins available, certain Waves plugins are simply irresistible. Examples include Rvox, Aphex Saturation, CLA plugins, and others.

That is a crazy amount of plugins for a single vocal track but hey small moves on these plugins go along way.

Let me give it a try.
Why dont you use waves tune?
Due to its unfriendly user interface.
Bro some mistakes are made in some of the plugins settings … check his settings well next 😁
What do you mean?! I'm pretty sure about them.
@@yeckxo check his reverb WET sethings is not 100 % and the ssl expand RANGE is at 40 :)
I'm sorry to say that this is overcomplicated for no good reasons.
it's not that complicated comparing to other engineer's vocal chain.
It’s because he put everything on the same bus channel , cuz the first three plugins should be on the aux channel! That’s how mosty did on the mix
