As for C6, I know Jay might not use it anymore, but I personally find it incredibly useful for tackling unwanted resonances, especially in the 9k-12k range, which can vary depending on the microphone used. It’s one of my go-to tools for cleaning up vocals and smoothing out harshness. While workflows evolve, C6 still plays an essential role in most of my vocal mixes. Appreciate the insights.

Just to clarify, the released version is the mastered one. I didn’t apply anything additional to the final master.

To replicate room effects, even small amounts can make a difference. It's similar to mixing vocals when you send them to a bus with effects. Often, some effects end up being as low as -24 dB (relative to the main signal). So, it's not something unusual.

@@larsi1206 Creating longer videos is much more challenging than shorter ones. However, I choose to go into greater detail to ensure everyone fully understands the concepts. When I first started, I wished someone had explained these topics in depth, and that’s one of the main reasons I take this approach.

That’s a great observation! I intentionally use stereo versions of the plugins on lead vocals because of personal preference and the flexibility it provides. Since recorded vocals are always mono and have no stereo information, technically, there’s no difference between using mono or stereo plugins when it comes to standard processing (like EQ or compression). However, I choose stereo plugins because it allows me to directly add stereo effects like reverb or delay on the inserts without needing to route them to an auxiliary track. This approach gives me more control and makes it easier to create a stereo image or add depth to the vocal within the mix. Hope that clears it up! Let me know if you have more questions.
