Imma take this as actual advice as it's crazy to keep on top of these and my plan for the Engine Swap will come to life. "Looking for fellas in their 30's looking to date married women 🤣🤣🤣"
My experience was: bought the car and took to a bmw shop to get some stuff worked on and get it road worthy (I took care of my wife and paid someone to work on it), as soon as I drove it out started noticing temp gauge reading hot. Called the shop and he literally told me to smack the dash above the gauge. Easy fix😆
You checked all the boxes for us E30 owners. I was cracking up the entire time. The water in the trunk hit hard. I just replaced a leaky taillight gasket and it still gets water pooling on top of the battery box cover.
The weld/bodyline that is in the seal for the trunk lid near each of the bottom corners of the rear windscreen, has been known to get thin and leak. Sometimes you can't even see the hole from the top side, but there will be telltale rust on the underside. Especially if it is parked outside regularly anywhere where leaves or other plant material build up in those corners.
@@zacrl1230 It's been garaged since I bought it 7 years ago, but prior to that it rotted outside under previous ownership. I'll have to check out what you mentioned. Thanks for the tip!

The smack on the dash is actually the most accurate/relatable thing in the whole video.
I died at the dash smacks😂

Lol…thought it was just me that did it. Good to know it’s perfectly normal…lol

The e brake and water in the trunk hit me in the feels. Every time it sprinkles I’ve got 5 gallons on the battery tray.
But where DOES it come from!??? For real..
@@Sharpened_Spoon Taillight seals
The brake light check and smacking the dash.. The daily..

Classic video!! One of the main reasons I moved to Vegas was to get away from the rain for my E30... LOLOL
10+ years ago, when I got my first car, my first E30, these kind of kids didn’t exist and would’ve never been considered the “e30 owner” archetype 😒
lol the coolant gauge smack - just like my e30
most of the time its just the dumb thing thats holds it from the back. you just need to tighten the nut and its fine
