- Time to take the BMW E30 build serious and no better way to do that than to introduce a highly capable engine swap for the car. The goal is to drive my 1989 BMW 325is for the first time, which is well overdue, considering I've owned it for almost 2 years! That's because I good amount of his subs are young "n54 is the new 2jz" fan boys. He built his channel on modding his 335i vert. Since you can now buy those shitboxes for less than most e30s it only makes it worse.

While the s54 would have been a cool swap, Im still happy that the e30 is keeping a BMW engine. I was getting nervous that it was going to be another boring LS1 whatever swap.

@@esdrasferreras1227 Eh a Big V8 in an E30 is something done so much already and just seems wrong. I dont hate the LS but its a big relief seeing something more "Eurpoean" going into an E30 for once. Something that doesntmake it an silly overpowered Monster but more a very powerful but not Batshit crazy Sportscar

Always good to see an e30 saved. You don't need to delete the brake booster one from an e21 should fit and clear the intake. Speaking of, use an s50/m50 intake and fuel rail, much better airflow than the narrow obd2 version on the s52/m52.

So happy you weren’t throwing an LS in an e30. BMW is known for their inline engines let’s keep it that way. I’m a fan of the LS…when it’s in a corvette or a Camaro. I’m a fan of engine swaps I just don’t think they look right IMO. Sleepers are cool just not my taste. I saw an old Honda hatch out here with an LS in it which was cool and damn fast. But that big block V8 sound should not be coming out of a Honda 💀 I’d much rather see a turbo b20 engine in a Honda than an LS. That’s just my opinion you could agree or disagree 🤙🏾

Tell me about it the gm ls engine is to damn over-rated and easier to break down when redlined, compared to, the original inline-six cycle, engines that come, already with descent enough of, power to do the all around, job sprint or turning the wheels side, ways. Litterally i love the fact that bmw engines got best in the e36 series.
@@armandovicario7977 M50B25 is literally indestructible, will withstand 1000hp when built and like 500 on stock motor, and you can squeeze like 300 out of it NA.

The guys at Throtl (June 5, 2021) put a Dash Overlay in an employee's e30 and it was MINT! Also, you should see if the guys at Street Banditos have any ideas about your rusted roof. They may even be able to skin a Carbon Fiber overlay that you could paint if you want to...never know.

In South Africa BMW made an E30 325is that was only ever made for South African market with a 2.7 liter engine and an E30 333i also only ever made in South Africa.

You should get a complete e30 m3 fiberglass body kit. No bolts shown or anything it’s not like a wide body it will actually look identical to an e30 m3 I can find a kit if you want

Was the original engine too hard to refurbish? If you were swapping out a 318i M40 it'd made sense but this is a 325is, those are worth a lot in good ORIGINAL condition.

I can't find where you explain why you didn't use the S54 engine? What was wrong with it? Why did you change your mind? Was it just money (I under stand completely if it was I just wanted to know why). But yes you should have a nice build with the S52. It won't be the icon it would have been but it will be very nice.
