I somewhat agree with those saying the players are playing too slow. These are amateurs but they should be ready to hit their ball almost immediately after the first player in the group has hit theirs.

I think we all need to dial it back. And professionals must play wooden clubs. Then we would see who can swing and who can't.
Augusta doesn't really have rough. Even for The Masters. It's a secondary cut. The real challenge is the enormous, treacherous, easily 3 putted greens, and having to put the ball in precise locations off the tee as conditioned by pin locations. Another big factor is the extreme elevation changes. Augusta plays 60% farther than the scorecard yardages.

Soooooo much time between shots....... wow, and no distance to hole for each shot...... Women's golf needs to improve production value and watchability.
The title is confusing AF, its NOT Augusta National though.

What's going on here, in regard to pace of play?
The first group was atrocious, the 3 girls teed off, then the first girl hit her second shot after the usual faffing around, then the second to play started her whole routine AFTER the first girl played, she went over her notes, consulted with her Caddie, picked a club, walked behind her ball and did 2 practice swings, then changed clubs, did another practice swing and hit an very ordinary shot that missed the green !
Then the camera pans over to the third girl who only THEN took her drop from the path and THEN went through the whole rigmarole of deciding what club to use etc., and then hit a very poor shot that just rolled on to the front of the green.
Why weren't both Players ready to go after the first girl hit and why isn't anyone telling them to be ready to go, I thought speeding up play was something the PGA/LPGA were concerned about, obviously not.
