- Final round coverage of Jessica Korda and Michelle Wie as they play the Robert Trent Jones Golf Trail, Mobile Alabama. Jessica Korda will go on to win the tournament with a Sunday 65 (-20). Michelle Wie finishes tied 3rd with (-18).

I volunteered at this event for five days and absolutely loved it; massive crowds, great field, course was perfect and then Airbus bailed - no tournament last year and not on the calendar this year.
I miss watching her on tour. She was my favorite, now it 's KO and Kang.

Korda's problem is coming down into the ball too steeply. When she leans left like that, it's only going to make her steeper unless she dramatically tilts her spine away from the target on the downswing. It's very difficult to make that compensating move in the 250 milliseconds it takes the club to swing down. It is clear to see that Lydia has shoved her left arm across her body (a Push in RST terminology), and this has already moved the club deep behind her body, limited her shoulder turn and forced her right arm to bend - all unnecessary and extraneous movements. At the top of the swing, it's clear to see that she has her head well out in front of the ball and is hanging on her left side.

I really don't think there's enough golf content out there for women and one of the things I try to do with MixMaster Golf is balance content 50/50 for guys and girls. :)

To borrow a line from the Great Golden Bear we pro's drive for show and putt for dough. No better example reflected by Jess's Quality last 9 holes all long n straight drives and mostly all long birdie putts made. She has a "Magic" with the putter perhaps currently unrivalled on the Lpga

I worked that tournament and it was absolutely incredible; fantastic leaderboard and attended so well. It just sucks that Airbus bailed and screwed up such a great event for the panhandle

What are those bandages on Wie's leg? See them on a lot of LPGA players...are they performance enhancing devices or for injuries...seems like a vague rule...
It's athletic taping, many athletes from various sports use it to help recover from overuse or strain. "Athletic taping is the process of applying tape directly to the skin in order to maintain a stable position of bones and muscles during athletic activity." Hope this helps!

Michelle Wie won 1 major (like so many on the LPGA but sadly she was a one trick pony, her driver. Once on the green she was terrible.
