I was working on an electric furnace yesterday and did a voltage reading. I used the 750 AC setting on my digital multi-meter to check for 240 volts, but ended up only reading 190 volts. I wondered if the furnace was getting full power so, I checked a nearby AC outlet and got a reading of 96 volts instead of 120. I have a little analog multi-meter too so, I quickly grabbed it and checked the voltages. It showed 240 and 120. Strange thing is, my digital meter wasn't showing the low battery warning. I will check the battery anyway. Thanks for the vid.
Yesterday I discovered that my Fluke meter is showing double the voltage I’m testing. I was totally shocked, no pun. I’ve never had an issue with Flukes. Any ideas? The dc voltage reading displayed is at least twice the amount I’m testing.
Thanks bro I had sorta panicked because I only have one multimeter and I don't have enough budget currently to get a new one I was working on modifying my custom pc to increase the performance and my multimeter just randomly freaked out like I was measuring across the motherboard's fan power out put to confirm the twelve volts but as I measured it was 15 to 16 volts for no reason that freaked me out what should I do now how did I mess up again thanks
after bad use of my multimeter ( measure resistance of motor but the motor was in voltage ) the multimeter do not give any measure . we do not see any value how ti check and repair this multimeter
SANJAY DAS, yes and yet pretty effective and this is the most common issue happens with this kinda multi-meters... Thanks for watching and also check out my other videos... and like share, and subscribe :D
well, this hint helped me. I was ready to replace the car alternator and the multimeter as well(after I realized it is bad reading actually), as it showed 16v charge instead of usual 14.4v . I could have never imagined that a low battery would give so huge deviations, since the display was crisp and clear, no sign of low batt, except the sign :).

So confused….did you “repaired” the multi-meter by changing the battery?
Pretty much. Waste of time.
Sir can I ask a question? It is natural when I use digital multimeter measures go back to zero ?
What is the value of Resistor R82 and R83 sir??
Because my MAS830L does not work
Thanks for the video and my problem is that, multimeter turn off when I switched the dial to other quantities
I just put a new 9V in my auto-multimeter and seem to be getting readings that are too high on RPM and DWELL settings.

Its the same for me... well please do reply if u got the repair for it..
mine shows half of what my oscilloscope show's
i mean RMS
I used two × 1.5 Volts batteries, the multimeter reading was 3.2 V, is that normal? What value should I consider for my lab experiment?
Ya it is normal... 1.5v batteries when they are new will have a no load voltage of 1.6V that's totally normal

you're welcome bro :D
1:45 《-- i replaced those Resistors.
I put regular ones. Bigger and 1/2 watt each one.
nice...
Hey bro When m chkng 9v battery 🔋 reading it Shows in 2 dots ( ex- 9.0.1 ) Can u explain ? m using Excel dT-9205A Multimeter
Sir, is it possible that handycam camera display screen
after bad use of my multimeter
( measure resistance of motor but the motor was in voltage )
the multimeter do not give any measure . we do not see any value
how ti check and repair this multimeter
Bro in my multimeter it shows 1 alone in every mode except in 2000, 200, continuity test alone bro please help dt830d
very simple repair

Change a battery how to fix a multimeter and I thought this video is how to fix a multimeter 🙃
This is the most common problem actually 🙃
Really? You did a video on how to change a battery...REALLY?

Same multimeter but battery ok and wong reding
Dear sir please gave me resister numbers on your multimeter
Resister no.
1. R82
2. R83
Sir mre pas mastech mas830L meter usa resitenc cod R 15 velue
Mere bhai R15 no. 423(43k)
Sorry 42k
Will you please stop that noisy stuff in the background?.
The turbocharged jet engine sounds :-)
