Thanks Jamie …just getting into jazz chords. Playing for years …this is a nice intro. Always loved Roddy Frame he is sort of jazz pop cross over. Anyway thanks brilliant stuff.
Loved the 3rd lick the best. So...where can a beginner go from here? After several 2-5-1 repeats, a bridge then a chorus? Suggestions? Thanks! Just found your channel and love it!
Thanks James, glad you're enjoying the lessons! Once you can vary the lines as I do in the demo you need to apply them to tunes. Check out my 3 must know jazz standards video and my Autumn Leaves improvisation livestream to learn how to do this. Good luck!
thank you very much!

Great Help thank you for this.
No worries glad you enjoyed it!
The first two licks very useful but I find longer licks like no. 3, very nice but difficult to fit in anywhere. Thanks David Price
Thanks. You could just use the second bar of the third lick to make it more usable. Hope this helps!
@@jamieholroydguitar The third phrase works well in Night and Day - with slight modification to suit the tune of course. Thank you!
