Are you a new motorcycle rider, and often find yourself having tip toe dancing, because you can't find neutral gear?
Yeah, for some motorcycles, its a bit difficult. If that's you, then. I got a tip for you that I learned years ago from a seasoned rider. Instead of using the tip of your toes to shift gears, try to use the top section of your foot (towards the leg/tibia). And also, right before switching gears, make an effort to press your foot against the body of the motorcycle (towards the inside). That should put you in really good shape.
One thing that I did not mention in the video, is that for some bikes, you may also have to rock the motorcycle a little bit back and forth to "get it in gear".
In this motorcycle training video, you'll learn how to find neutral gear on a motorcycle. This essential skill is crucial for any rider, whether you're a beginner or experienced. Follow these simple steps to easily find neutral gear on your motorcycle. #howto #training #motorcycle

Why ever shift to neutral? Leave it in first gear so you can bail if the car in your mirrors doesn’t look like it will stop. Always switch off in first gear so it doesn’t roll. Push it around the garage in first gear, holding the clutch, so you have instant braking. I do select neutral before starting from cold, but it’s usually not too hard to find from either first or second gear; sometimes rocking the bike slightly back and forward helps. Fooling around looking for neutral in traffic is a distraction. If it goes into neutral first try, good - if it doesn’t, don’t sweat it. Clutches don’t wear out if fully disengaged.

Or you can put in 2nd and slightly tap it down, it will go right into neutral, at least that's how i do it when i miss the neutral on my SV650

The gear shift lever is too high, which makes shifting really strenuous. Try lowering it incrementally until find the sweet spot where you have decent leverage both up and down.
