What's even funnier about Derek was that after we did a Kids Explain Cool Cat video, he actually ended up seeing it - and as his TARGET AUDIENCE - KIDS - completely tore it to shreds (they said it was boring, unprofessional and unintentionally hilarious) - he didn't take the criticism on the chin, or even get upset - we just got a Cool Cat Official tweet saying 'those kids are some cool cats!' how delusional and in denial can a person even be
And all of this over criticism of a sub-par movie that he made...that also happened to feature Vivica A. Fox...i cri evrtim... If Derek didn't make the stupid movie in the first place, you, Alex, and the fuckbunch of people who reviewed it would've been spared the trouble of even touching it and getting an immature response from that delusional piece of dickcheese.
I take critisism how I take it up the ass: reluctantly, and it hurts a bit, but in the long run I'm glad I did it because it taught me something about myself.
What...? How do you get crazy with video takedowns? DId he like suddendly get really mad for some reason and took down all videos about the room? Well in the end it doesn't matter but it's still interesting how something like this can even happen. Don't they tell their employes or whatever which cideos to take down?
One of those "So Bad It's Good" movies, and it's a comical film too, so it's not trying to take itself seriously either unlike the Room or the Silence.
"In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. @Do Not Reply I don't know. They may be more entertaining, but it takes way more effort to put a movie together than a review. In that regard, the junk is still more meaningful, regardless of its quality.
Err, I have a very important question I really need to ask... Why is IHE such an amazing person ? When you have (some) fans who constently shit on you everytime you do a livestream and ask for "real videos" and "weekly uploads" even though your content takes a lot of time to make, when big companies and movie producters take down your videos no matter how hard you worked on them and even though they respect the Fair Use Law and you STILL manage to produce quality content with a good balance between entertainment, good editing, humor and useful criticism as well as well-developed arguments, you need to be ready to face anything. Being a "TH-camr" isn't something that happens overnight (most of the time), and IHE is proof of this. That is why I think I Hate Everything's videos should get at least 10 millon views on each and every single one of them by the end of the year (please let that happen, he deserves it).
I don't think anyone dislikes the fact that he does livestreams, it's that he streams on that shitty Kamcord app that no one wants to download. There's a way to watch it in-browser but all the youtubers who stream on it always put the direct link to download the app in the descriptions and it's pretty fuckin' annoying.
My animation professor in college always told us to *”listen to the criticism, ignore the death threats.”* Insults do nothing for you but hurt your feelings, while criticism allows you to see what you need to fix or improve. It may hurt to hear people criticize your work, but they’ll appreciate if you make an effort to listen and improve.
That's why I always ask my family: "What do you think of this drawing," or "this program," or "this story." I want to improve! And if I ever feel that they're aren't being criticizing enough, I always ask them to be honest, and say the rest. I WANT TO IMPROVE!!!
@@sweethysteria8737 Alright then. Well here's a question, have you ever thought to yourself that your work could be better? Because if you've that you've critique yourself.
I think there's an important clarification to be made about the word criticism. A lot of people think that criticism is just insulting (I used to think that), but there is a distinction. Insulting is mainly calling people names and saying you hate them, whereas criticism is saying what you liked and/or didn't like about something and how it might be improved. I hope this helps.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!!! I am so sick of people just blatantly insulting anything they don't like without giving a reason and calling it criticism as an excuse.
The main problem is that the word criticism these days is seen as being 100% negative, whereas it really doesn't have to be. Criticism is just any sort of evaluation of a piece of work, good, bad, or both. If someone build me a chair, and I told them they had done a good work with making that chair, that's still criticism, because that lets him know that he did a good job, and should probably keep doing it that way.
Kefka Palazzo That example isn't actually criticism through. Someone saying "good job" is polite and appreciated, but it has no value besides on an emotional basis. "Good job, I really like the way the chair's color complements its rustic design" is a good example of positive criticism- providing an example of WHAT deserved the compliment. It's why some artists I know get picky over comments that are like "cool" or "this reminds me of..." because it's just compliments or stating the obvious.
You're pretty much the only adult on TH-cam right now that's not acting like a child for attention. I thought at first that your videos might be just about hating things but they are actually very insightful and what the general public needs to hear in its current state. Having watched your videos I now highly respect you and hope that you can gain an even bigger following.
Constructive Criticism is awesome. I always look way closer at concrit than positive feedback because I don't want to get cocky. I am a writer and I'm always looking for ways to improve my writing. But reviews that only say "this is boring" and "you suck" don't help me improve in the slightest.
George Robins 1. I know this reply is late af 2. What do you write about 3. I would love to read anything you’ve written and provide feedback 4. Have a nice day
How to take criticizm (do not mistake with hate): Step 1: Read it. Step 2: Understand it. Step 3: Say "thank you". Dtep 4: Avoid the mistakes that were pointed out.
@Nightmare excuse me?! i'm just trying to tell you to calm down and take a joke even though i didn't made it (also don't make a flame war its not gonna make any of our arguments any better)
When I was at a writers workshop, they told us three things to do when criticizing someone's work; 1) Say anything positive if possible. It may require you to look at it from a different angle, but always try to find a silver lining. 2) Point out the problems fairly. If you don't like something, that's fine, but you need to explain why or it won't matter. 3) Try and fix the problem. It's easy to tear into mistakes, but when you offer advice and ideas to fix it, that shows you as both competent and genuinely sincere.
In my school I can't say *anything* even remotely like criticism. Everyone gets mad at me. If everyone just says "I really liked your presentations everything",it doesn't really matter. To my school:-YOU NEED TO TAKE CRITICISM! OK?
I dont get why people want him to do a video on "I Hate Mars Bars". I know its been a running joke since forever, but.....Does ANYONE in the world actively hate them? Like with a burning passion? What's to hate about them? I don't get the concept :/
But you commented on you hating on people hating on mars bars...And when people say "I hate" They mean "I just kinda don't like this and prefer something else" Don't take everything so literally
Are you sure about that? Check out his new video. His likes/dislike ratio is almost back to normal and it hasn't even been a week since the Leafy Content Cop. The same thing happened when H3H3 called out Leafy. People turned on Leafy until he made a shitty response, then he was fine again. His channel started really blowing up even more after that. The problem is that most Leafy fans are little kids who don't really care if he is making good points, so long as he appears unphased and "savage". I think Leafy would have taken a huge hit if he DIDN'T respond to the criticism.
I know. I'm just saying that it doesn't matter how thoroughly people tear him apart, he can just make a braindead response and then it's all good again. Hopefully more big TH-camr's will keep calling him out, and he will at least take some kind of hit. Why the fuck does Leafy have 5 million subs? Why the fuck do normal adults like GradeA and ColossalIsCrazy like him? It's fucking with my head.
I think youre all wrong: The problem with Leafy is its cool to hate him; if he didnt react to it people would still forget all the drama within a week.... most of the people are just finding someone to blame and since Leafy has the most subs of any of the drama channels I know and is definitely the most "famous" hes the prime target. Have you seen the worst 100 channels list? Pewdiepies at the top of it because immature people like to take people down a peg. Oh and no one would do that if they had any confidence in themselves. If you think someone is higher up than you because they get more irrelevent numbers on an internet website and earn money mostly due to luck and just being there at the right time, you must think of yourself as low... It reminds me of the people that think rich people and the like are so very successful and whine about it, but do nothing to try and be a bit more content with life.
Either way I dont like Idubbz even more than I dont like Leafy. theyre both dicks. In fact, other than H3H3 I dont see the point in drama (that usually, imo, isnt very funny). Phillipdefrancos the worst though... but he gets no hate, and yet his clickbait is way worse than Leafys. (and not even meant to be hyperbole... thats just how his titles are)
I find it kind of ironic that while you have the username "I hate everything", you're one of the only TH-cam reviewers I've found that genuinely backs up why you hate stuff with legitimate arguments. Most, if they really hate something, don't really do that. They'll bash and bash but god forbid someone criticizes their stuff. Derek Savage is probably a good example of this kind of person. And though you don't necessarily like the same things I or others from your audience likes, you don't become judging of those who do like those things. You're open and you even seem to be enjoying yourself sometimes when sitting through terrible movies. IHE, you may just be one of my favorite TH-cam channels now.
I know right? A lot of TH-cam commentators that rant about popular things, seem to only point out everything negative as a fact or that it can’t be fixed and should die in a fire. IHE is one of the fairest critics out there.
Your words seem really convincing, but i keep hearing "youtubers rarely back up their opinions" or something like that in every video that is based on criticism, i just wish to have a few examples of those bad critics(this is not meant to be a hate comment, i just wanted to know)
I will bury you you probably wouldnt hear half the shit they talk about though, not everyone uses Twitter or watches CNN or FOX News or other news channels
I thought this was a stream announcement from the video, thank god that it is not though. Thanks for making this video Alex, I feel like it contained some things really needed to be addressed. It is a shame you will probably not read after it is buried under a sea of comments.
I think the #1 problem these filmmakers (any artists really) make is that they see their work as a part of themself. The most important thing they taught us in art school was you =/= your art. When somebody is critiquing your work, they are not hating YOU. Don't take it personally, take it as an opportunity to grow.
This. A million times this. The amount of times I see a really crappy drawing and the artist is taking personal offense because not everyone is sucking their ass about how they're the next DaVinci is insane. And they almost always use the single worst phrase that was ever popularized... "haters"
We live in such an insanely narcissistic society that most of us rather believe people just hate us because... just because, rather than are making valid criticisms about our flaws (what flaws? I'm perfection.)
Constructive criticism and correct wording is what you do to avoid hurting people while helping them improve. Saying stuff like "I like X but I think that Y could have another colour to maybe enhance X?" instead of "This is really bad and it looks ugly look at the jaw it's all wrong and the eyes are not even the same size" you come off as some sort of attacker. The point is, If you want to help people just go the extra step to not hurt them aswell by disregarding positive stuff about their work to boost their morale abit.
Because IHE speaks a lot of logic and truth, and so it filters out all (most) of the whiny 12-year-old youtube community that plagues other big channels.
He did with Nostalgia Critic, under the name of John. Wouldn't surprise me if he DID pull the video and used the "digital security" guy as another "John".
The Amazing Bulk is a piece of cinematic beauty. Forgoing the pretentiousness of many independent films, it presents an immaculate tale of self-development and fixates the watcher with it's animated charm. After ANY OTHER MOVIE I have never felt the way I did after watching The Amazing Bulk. The original storytelling creates a carefully weaved universe of subtlety and spirit. The film feels alive, watching it is like you're beloved grandfather recall a seemingly mythical apologue from his distant past. I continually cite The Amazing Bulk as one of, no, THE primary AND secondary influences on my work and my life. It constitutes the very core of my being. Thank you Lewis Schoenbrun for this elevating masterpiece. Also, I've never watched The Amazing Bulk.
I agree, unfortunately, there are just so many people who just can't seem to be able to take criticism. we've seen this with Derek Savage, many reaction channels, as well as god knows how many members of the fanbases that Alex has criticised in past videos. If it weren't for critics, the media industry would most likely be full of poorly made media.
it all depends how stupid you are I am a 13 year old and I can take a bit not as much as a adult because I'm fucking 13 but ya know I have found people get really salty out of the most retarded things.
What if we could, like, ban criticism? Just permanently block and ban all negative comments and profiles ever. There couldn't be anything bad resulting from that, let's just sort of make this whole Space a lot more Safe.
I'd rather be a Lewis. I love to write, and I receive a lot of criticism from strangers- mostly cause I ask them to criticize it. My close relatives kiss my ass, and I can't trust them to tell me whether it's good or not. Good or bad, strangers give me the criticism I want to hear- the truth.
I’m curious, you say you seek for strangers to criticize your art, so I suppose you use the Internet for that If my thoughts are right, which website/app do you use for that? Asking for my dog
Generally that's because of an insecurity of themselves. Our brain takes the people we associate with as part of us. Any judgement to them, is a judgement of us in our minds. Loyalty of anything makes no sense when that loyalty comes at the cost of thinking anything is infallible.
It's nice to see that Lewis took the criticism well and is probably working to improve his work thats what this world needs more of. And the whole thing that happened with Derek is really stupid and hurts my brain.
I actually quite like criticism. I like finding out what people think about my art and my music so I can change it or improve it. What I don't like is people blindly gong "OMG YOU'RE SUCH A GOOD SINGER, BEST COVER ARTIST 11/10" or "WOW THIS SUCKS, OBVI SO-AND-SO'S DRAWINGS ARE BETTER BECAUSE THEY DRAW THIS INSTEAD OF THAT." and it's like ...okay thanks, this is totally constructive and completely unbiased and will help me in every way to improve!
killer slowpoke yeah but that's constructive criticism. I enjoy IHE but he didn't really do that with Cool Cat. I mean, he did offer some but his whole thing is insults and bitter grumbling. The person on the receiving end will obviously not learn anything from that and just be offended, making the comment kind of pointless.
I'm glad to see that Lewis has lightened up about The Amazing Bulk. Back in 2013 when I went to his YT channel to leave a comment explaining the difference between parody and what he'd done on the trailer for TAB, it was deleted within minutes. After discovering it had been deleted, I took a look around the comments section and discovered that the only negative posts that were being allowed to remain were the ones that DIDN'T have constructive criticism, and many of those had relatively calm (and absurd) responses to them so that he came off as the rational one.
Hey, IHE! My goal in life is to be novelist (a very critiqued lifestyle) and I'm generally afraid of criticism. I'll think of your words next time I get critiqued. To be honest, I doubt I will be a noted author, since there are literally millions of authors, and the chance of being discovered is one in a million (not that I mind, I accepted that fact a while ago, and decided I wanted to write because it's what I like to do), but whatever comments I get, I want to be like Lewis. Btw, your video is awesome!
As a writer myself, I'm the opposite end of the spectrum myself, I love having my stuff critiqued. Different insights might make you think of something that you never thought of before, maybe for the better. Even the harshest of reviews might give you something constructive to work off of, just make sure you're doing what you do for the right reasons and take the criticism on the chin, it'll all work fine.
Got to say it's great to see the quality of you're videos are getting higher and higher. I think this was a great message that you're sending. Recently a paper I did for a college class of mine was heavily criticized. I've generally been in a world where I've never been criticized so when I first saw it I got a little irritated. However when I reread the piece I realized that my initial reaction was completely unjustified and I went out of my way to thank my instructor for the criticism and because of that the quality of my work has greatly improved, this video makes me appreciate criticism even more.
Also, it's vvery important to keep this video in mind while thinking about all the DC fans shitting on critics for not liking something they love. And viceversa (some people actually hate these movies for stupid reasons too)
What up guys it's Scarce. Today we got some crazy new. I reported about this about a week ago and it was fucken crazy. Like what the fuck. I think it's gonna be big news. Oh my God guys. It's Scarce here.
1:22 There’s actually a term that refers to the cutting off of external voices to reinforce one’s beliefs. It’s referred to as an echo chamber, named so because the constant repeating of one’s views or beliefs with no external sound to be heard.
even though keemstar is a horrible person and pretty much full of shit, hes still 10 times more entertaining than anything that scarce can come up with
Oh my god at 1:59 I was hard enough just listening to your delectable voice, but you just upped your game dude looking forward to lewder body parts in the future
I'm not gonna lie I still get pumped when he mentions the email I sent Tommy. Kinda wish I worded it differently now cause I've changed and that email sounded so edgy in hidnsight
Hey Alex, you might not remember me because there's a million subscribers just like me, but I've been here for your content since you were at 40,000. And it's safe to say that I've been enjoying every moment of it. I even messaged you on Xbox and you responded and we actually had a conversation going. I am coming to an understanding that you don't play video games anymore because you have better things to do like making videos and that's completely fine by my books. This might not mean a lot, but it's safe to say that you're one of the only TH-camrs that deserve more than a million subscribers, you deserve more than ten million! If you don't remember me, my gamertag was iAmTheNinja x, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that you have made my day better after it being all doom and gloom with your videos and I would just like to say thank you so much. I will always subscribe to you.
Just a sidenote, do whatever you want to do. Make a live stream if you want, don't let some of these so called "fans" attack you for what you want to do. Once again, it's YOUR TH-cam channel.
I actively encourage criticism on my channel, why? Because it's the only way I'll improve, the only time I actively block people are the ones who offer nothing constructive and actively act malicious towards me.
And people need to not be hateful little babies and abuse anonymity too, to learn that constructive criticism is good. it's completely different from insulting people because you're unable to take disagreement.
Agreed! Like Alex/IHE, I'm blown away by the fact the Bulk director was so cool with IHE eviscerating his movie. Again, more people should be like Lewis.
I can see this comment chain is going to devolve into a long and conjectured alt-right internet tirade/circle jerk whining about the sjews and freeze peach. Marvellous.
A channel with over forty subscribers so a fucking huge channel. Anyway they said that the rumours weren't true so I guess that's confirmed guys, it's not true and it was made up, like that's fucking crazy that someone would do that
I actually love when someone critiques my art (in a constructive way) because that means free help to improve. How can you say no to that?! IT'S FREE HELP!!!! I always say thanks when someone points out the mistakes I do. So I'm on the Lewis' side.
I find it funny how IHE can't put the title like "I hate [subject]" anymore because dumb kids wouldn't understand if he titled this video "I hate criticism"
I will keep this in mind, especially since I'm actually writing a book, and it's my first time. Thanks for the good sportsmanship, great advice, and as always, quality entertainment. -Your possibly obese 15 year old fan, Johnathon Spiccc
@@zelaird5906 woah. I never saw the other comment but thank you for asking. I've learned and grown a lot since I started, and so has the story. The first draft when I was 14 had about 117 pages and roughly 50,000 words, but it was awfully written. Made another draft that was about 80 pages and it was slightly better but I cut that one too. Been trying a lot of different things, but life's been getting in the way a lot and I've been on hiatus, just structuring the story and tweaking every little thing and practicing now.
I don't see how #nochin is criticism... It's seriously making fun of the guy's appearance which he can't control. Saying that his videos can get repetitive and unfunny is criticism, whereas making fun of his chin is just being a dick...
That's what I mean lol this is not a serious comment. sometimes I have to remind myself that the people who watch ihe are very different from the people who watch jar lmao
i hate those family guy funny moments. i click on "not interested" and still get it a week later and somehow i get recommended this because of random stuff that i watch like theodd1sout videos.
This is why I always say "Criticism Welcome", It's the only way we can improve as creators. (Plus, sometimes people may point out things that can actively make your projects better, stuff you may not have thought of.)
I don't know if you mean "7-8 billion people" and you are talking about the low number of houses with computers and internet in the world or you actually think that there are 7 fuking million people on earth :v
Yo man, legit thanks. The number one reason I'm scared of my writing class is the criticism, but you're right. It will help me improve my craft and become a better writer (even if the prof is a pretentious literary snob who probably won't like my work because it doesn't fit her set mold lololol)
Cool Cat Saves The Kids Search For The Worst was probably my overall top favourite video of the series. I definitely love the memes from it like "boogie woogie", the two intimidating Asian kids, the "I'm cool cat and I love ALL KIDS", Derek's sexual love for mama cat, etc. So many great things on that review, yet Derek Savage tried to shut you down and made himself look like fucking garbage. People should realize something here, ANY publicity is GOOD publicity.
The youtube community needs to be full of lewis' instead we get all these call of duty kids just screaming in all caps writing a hate comment for some unknown reason.
criticism is a way change yourself and become better as a person if people criticise you you should try to change yourself and become better as a person based on that criticism
Comment Review only if it's a reasonable one. such as if (at worst) someone called you fat. reflect on yourself. if you are a fucking beluga whale be lke (oh hey, i dont want a heart attack at 20 years old and i dont like being criticized on this, im gonna take a job every day to start!) If you are called a assaholic bitchboy, for voicing your opinion, dont worry because it is your opinion
Your Cool Cat TSFTW and Cool Cat Trying to Watch videos remain my favorites. I love your work. Thank you so much for continually putting up with shit to bring us quality entertainment.
SnazzyLlama, I hate mars bars because eating them could mean you support child labour because its a big company but it still doesn't have a fairtrade logo
ha ha ha Then why is it even a meme? At least the shit-tier memes like Damn Daniel has some kind of joke, that being the funny voice and all, but that's at least something. The dab has nothing.
Yeah, pretty much. Spot on the mark. I'd add a caveat that good criticism doesn't just tell the artist what they did wrong; it tells the artist what they can do better, why, and how. Anybody can tell you what's WRONG with something, it's not difficult most of the time. Whether it be music, pacing, editing, comedy, etc, it's not hard to point out how something doesn't work. What's actually difficult is finding a solution, especially if you can work with their limitations to make something worthwhile. It's a mark of not only a good critic, but a good creator.
What's even funnier about Derek was that after we did a Kids Explain Cool Cat video, he actually ended up seeing it - and as his TARGET AUDIENCE - KIDS - completely tore it to shreds (they said it was boring, unprofessional and unintentionally hilarious) - he didn't take the criticism on the chin, or even get upset - we just got a Cool Cat Official tweet saying 'those kids are some cool cats!'

That's why I always ask my family: "What do you think of this drawing," or "this program," or "this story." I want to improve! And if I ever feel that they're aren't being criticizing enough, I always ask them to be honest, and say the rest. I WANT TO IMPROVE!!!

Thats what i keep saying.
Also known as feedback. I think the age of the internet has made people forget what 'criticism' and 'feedback' mean.
It's why some artists I know get picky over comments that are like "cool" or "this reminds me of..." because it's just compliments or stating the obvious.
chatboss000 Yeah, I just assumed it was obvious that was what I meant, I just didn't go into detail in that comment.

"explain why or it won't matter"
In my school I can't say *anything* even remotely like criticism. Everyone gets mad at me. If everyone just says "I really liked your presentations everything",it doesn't really matter. To my school:-YOU NEED TO TAKE CRITICISM! OK?

"You should never react to criticism" Someone should've told Leafy.
Christian Gasior it was like that when him and h3h3 were fighting too pretty much. I didnt say his channel was fucked lol
He doesn't seem to actually hate anything but he does have a lot of legitimate criticism. It's interesting stuff, alright.

I think the #1 problem these filmmakers (any artists really) make is that they see their work as a part of themself. The most important thing they taught us in art school was you =/= your art. When somebody is critiquing your work, they are not hating YOU. Don't take it personally, take it as an opportunity to grow.
thanks for the tip random women on the internet!
But doesn't a part of you go into your art? If it does it's going to hurt a little.

Thank you Lewis Schoenbrun for this elevating masterpiece.

just the fact that you actually have to clarify what criticism is and does and how to deal with it is just fucking embarassing.
embarassing not for you, to be clear here. good vid, take my like.
I agree, unfortunately, there are just so many people who just can't seem to be able to take criticism. we've seen this with Derek Savage, many reaction channels, as well as god knows how many members of the fanbases that Alex has criticised in past videos. If it weren't for critics, the media industry would most likely be full of poorly made media.
it all depends how stupid you are I am a 13 year old and I can take a bit not as much as a adult because I'm fucking 13 but ya know I have found people get really salty out of the most retarded things.
yea, especially people should know that criticism is a good thing.
What do they say
My dad never says anything bad about my art and it annoys me a bit
Beisdes my siblings th emost I can get out of family on a creation of mine is maybe add this
I’m curious, you say you seek for strangers to criticize your art, so I suppose you use the Internet for that
If my thoughts are right, which website/app do you use for that?
Don't give up
Give up
👍
What kind of novels do you write?
As a writer myself, I'm the opposite end of the spectrum myself, I love having my stuff critiqued. Different insights might make you think of something that you never thought of before, maybe for the better. Even the harshest of reviews might give you something constructive to work off of, just make sure you're doing what you do for the right reasons and take the criticism on the chin, it'll all work fine.
Lewis actually made me smile that was so sweet of him to say
Got to say it's great to see the quality of you're videos are getting higher and higher. I think this was a great message that you're sending. Recently a paper I did for a college class of mine was heavily criticized. I've generally been in a world where I've never been criticized so when I first saw it I got a little irritated. However when I reread the piece I realized that my initial reaction was completely unjustified and I went out of my way to thank my instructor for the criticism and because of that the quality of my work has greatly improved, this video makes me appreciate criticism even more.

oh yeah and do I hate mars bars.
So fucking true. Toxic "HATER ALERT" is everywhere on their videos (even comments that aren't criticism because they think "HATER ALERT" is FUUUNNY.")
***** love you too
+StickzzTheTH-camr k

I have the utmost respect for you, Lewis.
He's cool
Zacc I wish more people would be like him.... This world would become such a better place.
KuroTenshiStealsYourCookies definitely
I will keep this in mind, especially since I'm actually writing a book, and it's my first time. Thanks for the good sportsmanship, great advice, and as always, quality entertainment.
-Your possibly obese 15 year old fan,
Johnathon Spiccc
Good luck with your book, mate
How's your book? WE NEED AN UPDATE!
yo update on the book?????
@@zelaird5906 woah. I never saw the other comment but thank you for asking. I've learned and grown a lot since I started, and so has the story. The first draft when I was 14 had about 117 pages and roughly 50,000 words, but it was awfully written. Made another draft that was about 80 pages and it was slightly better but I cut that one too. Been trying a lot of different things, but life's been getting in the way a lot and I've been on hiatus, just structuring the story and tweaking every little thing and practicing now.
@@ti2218 Good luck finishing it up, where could we find it if it gets published?
That Jar Jar thing killed me
MAN DOWN!
some one get first aid
Guardian Down!
+hrafnkell Óskarsson he is losing a lot of blood, I don't think he's gonna make it!!
Meesa go find help for you! :D
very appropriate what with the #nochin war going on
so many have fallen
I don't see how #nochin is criticism... It's seriously making fun of the guy's appearance which he can't control. Saying that his videos can get repetitive and unfunny is criticism, whereas making fun of his chin is just being a dick...
That's what I mean lol this is not a serious comment. sometimes I have to remind myself that the people who watch ihe are very different from the people who watch jar lmao
CJTreader2001
The Nochin thing is parodying the fact that leafy himself makes fun of physical appearances.
im joking pls chill out Lads™
i hate those family guy funny moments. i click on "not interested" and still get it a week later and somehow i get recommended this because of random stuff that i watch like theodd1sout videos.
Ikr. I watch a shit load of lets plays, and minecraft montages still somehow manage to get to my recommended.
I thought I got them in my reccemended because SilvaGunner
me too
I go on nothing mine-craft or family guy related but still get both recommendations, and then there's the "pranks".
this is a 1000 times better than getting buzzfeed recommended
at least you get something less shit than fucking buzzfeed
This is why I always say "Criticism Welcome", It's the only way we can improve as creators.
(Plus, sometimes people may point out things that can actively make your projects better, stuff you may not have thought of.)
I hate mars bars at 5 billion subs?
how can he have 5 billion subs if there are only 7-8 million people on earth? fake acunts?
I don't know if you mean "7-8 billion people" and you are talking about the low number of houses with computers and internet in the world or you actually think that there are 7 fuking million people on earth :v
+TheMadWasp I hope u are joking.... ahahhahahaha
No. There are 7 and some numbers billion people on earth. Get your facts right.
Haha... memes...

How to take criticism
Step 1: don't be daddy Derrick.
Brace yourselves the first commenters are coming...

Yo man, legit thanks. The number one reason I'm scared of my writing class is the criticism, but you're right. It will help me improve my craft and become a better writer (even if the prof is a pretentious literary snob who probably won't like my work because it doesn't fit her set mold lololol)
Get out there! It's the only way you'll improve
That guy who saw cool cat and backed up back into his house lol
Man Lewis Schoenbrun seems like an amazing dude.
I'm his bro. He is.
The youtube community needs to be full of lewis' instead we get all these call of duty kids just screaming in all caps writing a hate comment for some unknown reason.
ConnorIsTired if by call of duty you mean halo 5 definetely. If you meant anything else then wtf is your problem
criticism is a way change yourself and become better as a person if people criticise you you should try to change yourself and become better as a person based on that criticism
the english was scrambled there, took me a bit to understand but i agree
What if you are criticized for something you cant change, like you are criticized for being asian, black or white?
Comment Review only if it's a reasonable one. such as if (at worst) someone called you fat. reflect on yourself. if you are a fucking beluga whale be lke (oh hey, i dont want a heart attack at 20 years old and i dont like being criticized on this, im gonna take a job every day to start!) If you are called a assaholic bitchboy, for voicing your opinion, dont worry because it is your opinion
probably was the phrasing lol
make I hate galaxy bars.
It's not funny anymore
I'm Batman make I hate toblerone
the chocolate bar or the overwatch character?
Your Cool Cat TSFTW and Cool Cat Trying to Watch videos remain my favorites. I love your work. Thank you so much for continually putting up with shit to bring us quality entertainment.
Make I hate Mars bars.
i love mars bars
llama rivalry
traitor
Fight! Fight!
SnazzyLlama, I hate mars bars because eating them could mean you support child labour because its a big company but it still doesn't have a fairtrade logo
My name yeff
i support child labour
if I'm a Derek savage does that mean I get all the cool stuff he doesn't deserve like the Van Halen guitar??
I hate dabbing
WTF even is the joke behind dabbing anyways, aside from making yourself look like an idiot?
it's not a joke, it's a dance move.
ha ha ha
Then why is it even a meme? At least the shit-tier memes like Damn Daniel has some kind of joke, that being the funny voice and all, but that's at least something. The dab has nothing.
The Sightless Scopesman it's just a dance move bro, no need to be upset.
ha ha ha
It's just my opinion bro, no need to be upset.
