This has always been one of my Sum 41 favorites. As a matter of fact, until this version the MTV performance on the truck beds was my favorite performance. Thank you from bringing this song into a while new light.
It’s funny, I was extremely disappointed with this song back when it first came out; as I was more of a “purist” punk guy at the time and the intro gave me strong (what I consider) baseline punk vibes. So, when the song kicked in it was almost the exact opposite of what I was expecting. I ended up getting a lot more into the hardcore punk/various metal scenes in my mid 20s and this became my favourite song by Sum 41. But it’s quite the treat that after all these years I get to hear it pretty much dead-on to what I had imagined/wanted it to be that first time. Thanks Deryck.
