Some of the quickest cars going and all australian line up, who cares barra or LS, its about the fine cars and we are blest that people like fullboost go there and film and edit these events, otherwise we would be back at the old VHS handhelds or worse real expensive stuff to film and edit the footage so well done to all owners and especially fullboost for the uploads,. Reason is people out there sometimes cant get to events, like myself as a disabled person, yet last friday the finals for drag week at calder, the officials drove me in the little red 4x4 service car right down to the start line at the plastic bollards to view the event and then when me and my son had to leave, they asked one of the drag cars to drop us off at the car park, right where the church was, ie: the Orange Fairlane with the big block 427 running gear and yet while sitting in the car, you could not tell it did 9's. so a big thank you to the event organisers and i will go again, when i can. :)
Red80 that's what happens when zero money is spent on upgrading/maintenance. Place is exactly the same as when my old man raced there in the early 80's.

Yeah I know right? You'd reckon at least someone (at least one!?) would have a fast V6 SIDI out by now. Like, they're a pretty good motor; the new LF4's are getting 400hp stock. I have an SIDI so I'm a bit ruffled about this. Can't someone shove forged internals and twin snail a V6? If someone can afford a supercharger that towers over the roof of the car, surely someone can afford a fast V6.

Theres the twin turbo in the cadillacs from 2016 I think (I've been searching for them as a crate engine) and goat do thiers, bit it's under the chassis. Super chargers available as well, but I think it comes down to dollars for most. I think the LLT is a bit mild and cant have much done to it (which I have), but the ones before and the current ones in the vfs can take a bit more. Would have loved to see what they did to the one in the holden racing team wagon concept tt six, that murph took for a blat. I've found a crew that have designed an independent throttle body for it, but it's only a design.

there is a twin turbo one around, but most get them to the ~240rwkw mark and leave it
