After watching hours of different videos this is the only one I found that explained what I need to know! I now know its 1 and a half turns for a 110 cc !!!! THANKS BUDDY!
Yes he's the first to mention the one and a half turn for 110. Having some serious bogging issues been fiddling with it all day, tomorrow am doing this. Will see if that works.
Great video man. I'm building up a minibike right now and I'm having issues with my mikuni. This should fix it I hope. I've put up a few videos of it. I'll do a final product some day.
Thank you !!!! This explained a lot -- I have a 125cc motor on dirt bike and just hit this carb and when I pull full throttle it Boggs down . I think this will help me tune correctly
Hi buddy I have just moved to the Philippines I just bought a motorbike it is a motorstar well Chinese makeup pulled the carby down and a little ball fell out I think it went under the low idle jet but not sure can you please help me wear it do go
Put in a fresh plug, take the bike for a spin then shut it off immediately. Dont let it idle, just shut it down. Pull the plug: If its sooty and black, too rich. If its chalky and white, too lean. Start from there.
Almost funny , but it's not. Yesterday i did that exact cleaning with a wire brush strand, the wire broke off inside of the pilot jet, now i'm screwed.
The Chinese have dragged Japanese Mikuni in the dirt by using their name. Real Mikunes are quality products while the chinese knock offs are sorry excuses of carbs. Mikunis have the air and fuel screw on the sides so you can adjust them while the bike is running. The chinese carbs needs to be removed every time to be able to adjust the screw underneath. Since i bought my pitbike in 2012 iv'e had about 20% riding and 80% adjusting the carb. That nasty screw made out of playdough unscrews itself from engine vibrations.
Bogus video, mikuni jet is in the front, not on the bottom. You got a fake copy of the real mikuni is why it has a flat spot! Nice try though! 🤬. Anything to try to make money on TH-cam 😡

Just the video I was looking for. Thank you.
Exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Carb was running like crap and tuning wasn't fixing the problem. Opened it up and found the same thing you are describing. Thanks for the heads up.

Bro where do u live in the middle of a rough farming ghetto? Animals and sirens goin off haha 😄
Great video! in between hearing screaming ducks in background
The clip on the needle, is it already positioned in the middle as stock position? If not, where is it positioned before you’ve laid fingers on it?
What size jets for 125??
Should you adjust it like this when you get it brand new outta the box?
Nice video! 👍🏼
What carburetor model is that?
Greetings from Temamatla Estado de México 🇲🇽
How many turns for 212cc the two turns out ?
I recommend any Chinese trail bikes take the gas tank off before you clean it will be surprised of the rust and debris that's in them tanks
And my carburetor does not have a little circle washer for gas pin where can I get one
Nice
What’s the set up up for size 100 jet for 212 cc
What stock for mixture screw on 160cc makuni vm26 mate.
I took my carb apart and i only have one jet... what do i do now
Sir, if i apply this on my 50cc kids dirt bike, what will happen???
I have been looking for a video like this explaining these knockoff carbs -
Why does my mikuni carb have a dead spot on a feul injection
Hi buddy I have just moved to the Philippines I just bought a motorbike it is a motorstar well Chinese makeup pulled the carby down and a little ball fell out I think it went under the low idle jet but not sure can you please help me wear it do go
Need your professional advice I’m stuck !!
How to fix a dead spot on my mikuni carb
Does this work with a flat spot mid range , I also have a little bog down when I snap the throttle at idle
usually thats your main jet try a smaller main jet if not lmk
Big yo self g
I cleaned my carb on my bike put the thing in right it went all the way down but now it won’t return when u hit the throttle
You put the needle spring top cap back on wrong
I used a guitar string I've heard people using very thin sewing needles
Is that Ducks I here?
Ay I had a question do you why my mikuni carburetor on my 212 bogs out at full throttle ?
Put in a fresh plug, take the bike for a spin then shut it off immediately. Dont let it idle, just shut it down.
Pull the plug: If its sooty and black, too rich. If its chalky and white, too lean. Start from there.
@@robspear03 so what thread should the needle be at ? Middle top or bottom?
Almost funny , but it's not. Yesterday i did that exact cleaning with a wire brush strand, the wire broke off inside of the pilot jet, now i'm screwed.
This isn't a real Mikuni carb, it's a knock-off, that's why all the trouble...
Yea 2 turns. Watch other video said 1/1/2 for 125. Wrong! 2 turns!! Thanks.
The reason these carbs are not great from the factory is that they are not Mikuni carbs. They are cheap Chinese copies of the Mikuni VM22 Carb.
False. They are real Mikuni's VM22-3747. You're thinking of the VM22-133 which the "good' one.
@@justintruedough4450 That's true,.. they are Chinese copies,..I've got one right now and it's garbage,..the exact same one he's got in this video !!
I’m running the same carburetor how many turns
2 turns from closed

that’s a fake mikuni that’s why
Great video however the sound of you smacking as if you are chewing with your mouth open completely ruined the video!
10 yrs? your video has nothing to do with flat spots in a carb--it is called tuning not cleaning

he does not have enough subscribers to make money on TH-cam. he's just telling you what he knows and it's good information.
