Just did the install myself. Stock with the VM26. Mine is pinching the fuel line as it goes to the new carb. Did you have this issue? How did you prevent the line from pinching?

I’m from Australia, is there a link to buy the big bore 170cc kit with vm26 carb? As I can only find the KLX 110 kit but I need the 140rl upgrade kit to 170 - if someone can reply with some links to purchase would be awesome so I can start the entire upgrade as in this video. Cheers
Hey man i have the sand setup trying to get it to stop bogging on acceleration at first then it stops. Was wonder what your fuel screw is set to. It has 190m and 22.5p

I’m having an issue with the bike sputtering and losing power before I shift. It accelerates fine but loses power and sputters when RPM’s go up. I’m at 1,800 feet and I started with a 22.5 pilot and 190 main (I installed the BBR full exhaust and BBR rev box as well). I dropped to a 185 main and same issue. Also put the stock rev box back in and same issue. Any suggestions? I appreciate your help!
The 170 sure sounds Meen ! I like the Idea it's still carbureted and looks like your at a great starting point on the settings .👍

IIRC i did a 190 main and a 25 pilot, it wasn’t perfect and could never get it 100% but this was as close i as i could make it

How was the cable wound? Just put the same carb on and it’s idling/ revving super high when I start it.
Im gonna assume you need to adjust the adjuster at the throttle housing

yes, you may need an aftermarket exhaust to be able to get the full potential of it

Some people in the klx 140 group do this and an exhaust to open up the bike some more

how to get mikuni carb into rubber boot on klx 140 ?
A lot of force lol
Heat gun to soften the boot. It will go on much easier. It was a pain before I heated it.

I just installed mine. Ran great from the start. Needs a bit of adjustment but it really woke the bike up.

I had to use a ratchet tiedown to pull it back
it can be tricky to get it on!
@@AaronsEnduro I also got a shorter peacock from Amazon with gas line toward the rear. It makes it a lot easier to get to the chock
