Bunch of details I particularly love:
0:15 Chisel bits hold the lava on top of the places it needs to be and doesn't get destroyed by the drills
1:17 This whole section. The stuff is stored in barrels, and there are trapdoors to stop the Smart Chutes from dropping the items when they aren't supposed to.
1:33 The player falls down an ice slide, since contraptions retain the physics of ice and slime.
    1:58 Another ice slide.
2:14 Just the fact that the crafted crushing wheel actually goes into the barrel, and then onto the belt
2:27 I didn't realize smart chutes filtered what items can be sucked up
2:35 The chromatic compound gets flung into the beacon light, keeps it's momentum when it turns into refined radiance, and flies into the andesite funnels up top
3:14 Just want to state my love for how everything lights up.. We've got pyrolyzers making charcoal and coal coke, pulverizers and induction smelters processing crushed gold, igneous extruders making cobblestone, and Fluid Encapsulators making Stone Reagents for alchemy.
3:38 The deployers activating the lasers all go at different speeds. At the end, there's even a deployer turning the silicon into printed silicon before it gets put in the assembly.
4:19 As I mentioned in another comment, the numbers "on display" are actually being melted down in smelteries

Its not about the content in the mod, is about what you can do with it.
I play a modpack created by me and my friends, everyone chooses a mod to rush into, since I discovered create I always go with it.
My first thing is find adesnite and a ridiculous amount of iron, zinc and cooper, next step is do some autosmelters and just a quarry, only using create.

@@MakusinMeringue What's clunky about that? I'd argue that helps with balancing, as there's a lot of powerful stuff you can make with the various mods, including several ways to get more material out of each crushed ore

    • @MakusinMeringue
      @MakusinMeringue 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

@@pyramlinum9514 Because Create ore processing is of inconsistent multipliers.
Want to have this work with your AE2 autocrafting systems? Not gonna work too smoothly unless you set the processing pattern to the least amount of nuggets you can get from 1 chunk.
Also, Thermal is MIDGAME? Call me entitled, but that's quite different from the expert packs we all enjoy.
It's probably because Create insists on not supporting some sort of RF/FE to SU conversion.

Welp, the main issue with introducing Create to a pack is that, while being lots of fun to play with, it becomes quite useless when along other mods, like Mechanism, which can do similar stuff, but on a more efficient (and boring) way, so it has been an issue, having such an amazing mod with limitless possibilities, but never finding a pack that makes good use of it, i'm amazed of how much depth this pack has and it's really nice to finally see something this amazing, hopefully future packs will use this as a base and look into all the possibilities create can offer and build their packs around it. Only after playing through the modpack am I able to keep track of everything happening here. Though the pack is progression based, nothing is produced in a single block sized machine like it would be in the vast majority of packs. This trailer does a superb job at selling that idea, the insanely inspiring amount of creative freedom you can build your factory with. Landing on the moon thematically fits the pack as the final goal, but in execution it was a little underwhelming. This pack keeps grinding to the minimum, doesn't make you OP right away, and all the while manages to make progress feel oh so rewarding: the factory grows out of you and you grow out of it. I urge anyone who's getting goosebumbs from this trailer to give the pack a go.

You can only directly make +, -, *, /, 8 and 3; the other numbers need to be made with these equations.
You have to melt 10 of each number (0 to 9) for 20 mb of that rainbow fluid, which you need 8 Buckets of to make the guidance computer for a rocket.
      That means 8000 mb.
      8000/20 = 400 times rainbow fluid recipe.
That means you need 4000 of each number

    Okay a couple things
So much new stuff! Makes me consider actually trying to play the game and automate as much as possible!
This mod is slowly bridging the gap between my top 2 favorite games (factorio and Minecraft)!
Also the math components make me excited for the more technical community to try making computer logic! actually being able to move literal pieces of data around is mindblowing!
Its crazy to see how far this mod has come! I will definitely need to sit down and play it sometime!
Unbelivable work from the Create team! You guys are amazing!

@@lennartweber2228 The thing with Buildcraft and other past tech mods is how pretty grounded and basic it is. Logistics just involves pipes running around everywhere, machines are mostly specifically placed multi-block setups that does one or several things, and at times it gets unnecessarily complex. With Create, although the processing of items remain the same, how you *set* that process up is entirely up to you. And its even better how the machines distinctively visualize what they are doing, instead of having different looking blocks and then get a massive infodump in a little book or some random wiki. It's kinda revolutionary due to how incredibly malleable it is, and relatively easy to learn for new players.

if only i knew how to use create mod omg
Edit: its 2 weeks later, and i've been working on a mega base in creative mode that will eventually have every chapter fully completed (albeit, with a bit of creative motors and tanks and crates).
So far I've made a gantry carriage transport system across the whole underground base, the entrance is just an elevator from a schematic i found on the create mod website. There is a lobby which is just the entrance and then 3 other areas accessed by the carriage transport system. one being the "main headquarters" (bedroom basically), one being the farming and cooking area along with the "crafting area" that has basically all the stuff for create mod recipes, and then the factory area, which has the chapter 1 and 1a factory fully set up, and a portal from portality where you can access the nether portal and storage room, and all of the factories for each chapter along with its subchapter. and so far i have everything up to chapter 2a fully done, and now im working on setting up some farms and stuff for iron and gold and andesite alloys and other stuff that you'd find in a base, and also chapter 3 which will be a bit confusing. and also when i finish building this whole base im gonna upload it to my channel.
so yeah what i said 2 weeks ago about not understanding the create mod is outdated and now im an absolute expert at everything ever.
