I still love how Create is essentially the embodiment of the three mods that started the forge modding API.
i.e Buildcraft, Redpower, and Better Than Wolves.
And better than wolves? Why?
@@zachrabaznaz7687 Better than wolves was one of the most popular mods at the time that had aspects of rotational power, particularly windmills, millstones, and elevators that could keep rails on them, just to name a few.
I went back to b1.7.3 to play a modpack that included a bunch of mods, Buildcraft, IndustrialCraft^2, and Better Than Wolves namely. I enjoyed it a lot, but I pretty much dumped that pack once I found out about Create, because it does literally everything those mods did, in a way I liked more, plus it's more advanced and malleable.

15:25 Important thing to add is that using a Andesite/Brass Casing to decorate shafts, cogs etc DOES NOT use a casing, so You can simply build with only 1 casing for decoration, and it still not be used
this also applies to dying conveyor belts. the dye is not consumed, so you only need one to dye to dye your whole factory!
Fun fact with the display link part, you don't need to use name tags! Any named item will appear on the board, this is very useful for if you wish to make user specific interfaces, such as a bank account! No need for all the nametags, paper works fine :DD
Fun thing you can do with the elevator pulley is attach drills to the bottom of the contraption, assign a station in the same column but waay underground, then call it and it'll drill its way there :D no need to dig your own elevator shafts

Just wanted to say a massive thank you, your videos have helped me to pick up stuff I would never have thought about with regards to the create mod
someone on the create discord used deployers picking up and placing minecart contraptions to make a fully functioning step-based irl escalator. the deployers are useful to ensure the minecarts always stay in sync
you can also use vaults to transfer items instantaneously and its has a lot more store tho it might be a little more expensive

18:13 It can also fire golden apples, enchanted golden apples, blaze cakes and maybe much more.
Full list of effects(to see detailed list check wiki):
Melon slice, apple: nothing
Beetroot: low reload time but insanely low damage
Golden carrot, blaze cake: big damage
Potato, melon block, pumpkin: big knochback
Potato, carrot, pumpkin, melon block: can be planted/placed by shooting
Baked potato, blaze cake: sets enemies on fire
Golden apple, enchanted golden apple: applies it's natural effect and cures zombie villagers, insane reload time
Poisonous potato: applies poison
Honeyed apple: applies slowness
Glow berries, glittering melon slice: applies glowing
Sweet berries, glow berries, chocolate berries: acts as a shotgun
Chorus fruit: randomly teleports
Pumpkin pie, cake, blaze cake: sticks for a short period(?)

@@IGORYA0 Yes! It applies golden apple effects. It can even cure zombie villagers. But sadly it has insanely long reload time.

So much useful information. I wonder how ill remember some of this
Please include the fact that by making a 10 block thick contraption wall and then obsidian underneath you can kind of create a base where you can only get in by powering a correct redstone link frequency. Btw you would have mechanical pistons and sequenced gearshifts to open two sides of the giant cabin when you power the link. It is soo secure there is NO other way of getting in.

15:09 You can use the wrench on that casing to open the shaft side then place a cogwheel on it while keeping the casing on it

I'm downgrading a 70 mod modpack from 1.19.4 to 1.19.2 so I can play create. While I'm doing it one mod at a time I'm using this as motivation
if you make a contraption farm, then deployers moving contraptions is amazing.

24:56 I used minecraft contraption placing inside my cannon as a way to move deployers without them activating when I don't want to. So it doesn't annoy me when it's being moved

when i try to use the wand of symmetry in my survival world, I can´t mirror slabs. When i place a slab, the full block gets placed down on the mirrored spots. Can anyone help me?

Fun Fact:
Mechanical Arms will still interact with depots even if rotated around.
Thus you can do sequential crafting in a circle instead of in a straight line.
Same with any Create blocks such as Basins.

Uber, where did you find out this 27:16 ? It blown my mind, I would never have thought about such possibility... Well now 3D printers are actually better than schematicannon cuz we can add more CREATivity to building 😳
I was trying to build a decorated tunnel with a tunnel boring machine and somehow found out you could put a schematic in the filter. However, it didn’t work as I had hoped as the schematic has a x,y,z coordinate so it can’t loop as a contraption moves
@@UbersweMinecraft Thanks for the answer. I understand what you mean but even though the schematic has coordinates and it can't loop I don't think it's a problem
Also, schematicanons aren't automatable. Whereas a 3D printer could allow you to make a train factory, for instance.

How did you make this 3D printer move without problems?
I use chain link drives to transfer power between the moving parts and then sticky mechanical pistons. You can find the world download in the description where you can try it for yourself
