I'm a huge fan of big fuckoff contraptions that could have been 10x simpler but the builder just wanted to flex, it's how I try to build my cobble gens. I'm totally crafting my precision mechanisms this way from now on.
I'll be real, I _love_ Create and Minecraft as a whole and everything But the trailers are by far the best thing about the mod, and its addons and modpacks lmao This is amazing

Every Create focused modpack to date has missed the point of create: It's meant to be relatively cheap and simple to get all the parts, and the difficulty comes from fitting them together, because they all take up a lot of space and end up with more intricate designs then what other mods fit into a single block. The recent version of create made things even simpler, with the water wheel change. Every create modpack, on the other hand, makes it three times harder to get anything and adds much more grinding for the sake of grinding. Here's hoping this one hasn't arbitrarily made all the resources harder to get or the recipies more expensive and esoteric... You haven't done that, right?
I totally get what you mean. Above and Beyond lost me after getting past tier 1. I just didn't have the energy to make so many contraptions without access to item filtering. Create really comes into it's own when you have access to the brass stuff. Full factories in the andesite age are a drag.
Haven't played in a long time but I always wished that the machines were more integrated with the vanilla progression rather than being adjacent to it. That would encourage me to build some basic setups early-game that could then be expanded. Also more like Factorio in that everything will become more automated as you progress. When I played Create, everything felt like a huge grind at first, using mostly the vanilla mechanics until I had enough brass and andesite to build an automated mining drill, which then made everything else ridiculously trivial minus the actual building.
... What if modpacks were able to be mixed and be 100% compatible? I know that is not possible, but imagine, above and beyond + arcane engineering(this) would be so awesome. Also if the goals mixed together, so you need both to actually complete the mixed modpack.

Watching this was an incredible joy, honestly. I can only dream of being able to do so many interlocking contraptions and mechanisms. I played a bit of the Create+ modpack and man, I barely made anything. I'm no builder but hell, I wanna put my mind to it sometime after watching this trailer

thankyou for simultaneously finding a use for wraiths and for causing them great pain, I honestly can't remember the last time I've hated a mob as much as them, long range aggro mob that usually provides nothing of use in most modpacks except making a biome slow to move through a proper dangerzone

is forbidden arcanus included in this modpack? Does it have all the create addons in it too? What about Ars Noveau addons? All of them are very useful, it's not really that different from my personal pack of mods😅

It just isn’t a trailer for anything related to create without the iconic style of trailer, the absurdly complicated and elaborate factories, and of course, the classical music. Great work! This looks amazing.
I kinda wanna make that rotational sequenced assembler from the start now. Is it efficient? probably not. But is it cool as hell while not being *too* inefficient? hell yeah it is.
