Obviously Desmond uses Connor's moveset because of the fact that it is a videogame with limitations. But in-universe, after going through the bleeding effect and learning to fight first as Altaïr and then as Ezio, the fact that he chose Connor's moves shows that he was the most effective, brutal combatant of them all

Your story recaps are some of the best I’ve ever seen. You tell it like a true story and not just a brief over view. Giving it the time and dedication it needs. Great videos, and I can’t wait to see you cover the rest of the series. Keep it up man!!!
What sucks is that Juno's arch is forgotten and resolved in an effing comic book. She's revived and killed in the same comic issue and is completely forgotten about. All this build up so that most of AC fans don't even know what happened to her. It honestly felt like she disappeared and was just completely forgotten about.
Fantastic video. One of my favorite games in the series. A revolutionary game, if I do say so myself. Probably my most played. The dynamic weather was incredible, the improved parkour was incredible, and the story was so captivating and emotional, both Connor's and Desmond's story.
THANK YOU for reiterating the Six (out of seven) Methods of Salvation from this and knowing that it is the methods. Most people think that Juno was recounting the Isu's history, thank you for knowing otherwise.
Truly the best way to learn the story. Your ability to tell the story in such an intriguing and informative way without spoiling it is superb. The emotion you convey is also spectacular. Thanks for your work.
Hearing you narrate these games is so mesmerizing. Youre a storyteller who truly understands and ponders the inner minds and motivations of the characters and you present those perspectives in such eloquent and heartfelt ways its impossible to imagine how expert writers didnt manage to transmit the same ideas about the story the way you do. Your words truly fix and solve many of the plot points people have struggled with regarding the newer AC games. Amazing channel. Im binge watching your content right now
I think this video (as well as your other story recaps) show off the capacity for retelling stories to be an art itself. Your selective use of relevant clips, change in perspective, addition of a sort of third person internal monologue, all choices which heighten and elevate the story in a way the game does not itself. This video isnt a simple summary or regurgitation of ACIII but instead an adaptation. You really are a fantastic storyteller.
such a good series. This was the last of the assassin games that i played I felt like the world was saved and that was the end. I must of quickly forgot about Juno now being unleashed on the earth.
Patient wolf, you HAVE GOT to do a story about the kenways! I know it would be a little backwards (having Edward first) but it would go great I believe.

It may not have the grandeur or intrigue of previous games, but not enough can be said of the quality, detail, and innovation of Assassin's Creed 3. Ubisoft gave this game their absolute best effort, and that seriously matters.
I came to this video wanting to know the main timeline for the game. Wanted to know why Connor was still treated like a child despite being close/over 30 and achieving so much for the Patriots by the end of the game. But most importantly, wanted to know why Connor killed Lee the way he did. The drink they shared to the forehead touch followed a moment of silence and then the blade. That's not how anyone kills someone they disliked or despised. I'd reckon that's how one would kill a friend/ally even. I couldn't find the answer to either in this video but I did findout the emotions running within Connor and Haythem. Truth be told a lot of people dislike Connor(probably because most don't play much outside the main storyline and the naval mission) but personally I really liked his story.

Ubisoft really failed its own flagship franchise. the story of Desmond through out the former installments in the series was so captivating, ending with him sacrificing himself out of his own volition, his own freewill, but let lose the tyrant of Juno upon the world. despite all the things he has seen and experiencing through out history under the eyes of his ancestors like Ezio, Altair, Connor... he chose to put faith in humanity, that we will find a way. then with all of that build up, Ubisoft went and completely ignore Juno, killing her off in some comic that most people will never read. i look at what AC games are nowadays, and all i feel is sadness, some of them are still good and can provide a very good experience, ie Blackflag, Rogue, Origins, but as a complete story, it is only a shell of what it used to be.
22:30 I still think this is why they decided to introduce eagles in the RPG series, someone at Ubisoft went back to this and said “yeah screw it we got this cool flying mechanic we worked our ass off on 5 years ago and we ain’t using it might as well put it in Origins”
I personally think that you should do separate videos for the dlcs for these games like for ac2 the Battle of Forlí and Bonfire of the Vanities for Brotherhood The Da Vinci Disappearance for Revelations The Lost Archive for ac3 The Tyranny of King Washington and etc. and maybe also do Liberation for ac3 too. And maybe even bloodlines and identity
I got the new nintendo switch OLED and bought assassin's creed because I've never played it. At 1st I didn't really like it but now I am absolutely hooked hahaha I beat assassin's creed 2 brotherhood revelations and now just started number 3 remastered. Is it ever clearified that the guys attacking the homestead before Connor got in contact with Achilles were bandits? Always wondered who they were and why they were chasing Achilles by horseback while Connor were traveling to the homestead...
22:30 I still think this is why they decided to introduce eagles in the RPG series, someone at Ubisoft went back to this and said “yeah screw it we got this cool flying mechanic we worked our ass off on 5 years ago and we ain’t using it might as well put it in Origins”
these videos are beautifully well done. thank you.
one of my favorite ac games. the ezio collection will always be #1
I personally think that you should do separate videos for the dlcs for these games like for ac2 the Battle of Forlí and Bonfire of the Vanities for Brotherhood The Da Vinci Disappearance for Revelations The Lost Archive for ac3 The Tyranny of King Washington and etc. and maybe also do Liberation for ac3 too. And maybe even bloodlines and identity
Ac3 is my favorite game of all time. Great video.
Top tier TH-cam content
Fantastic series, I enjoy this very much.
Glad to make them
Finally it’s here!
I can tell this is going to be good
(Note I missed the video whoops)
I got the new nintendo switch OLED and bought assassin's creed because I've never played it. At 1st I didn't really like it but now I am absolutely hooked hahaha I beat assassin's creed 2 brotherhood revelations and now just started number 3 remastered. The 1st one is not available for the switch but I can't wait to play the 3rd and I also purchased rogue and Black Flag! I wish Valhalla was on it I am so hooked on the story lines and the KnightTemplar, Freemason stuff fits perfectly into the year I'm in 2022
Ubicypher here, Great job dude!
