Oh my god, am I really here this early? I've been playing the assassins creed games in backwards order and I desperately wanted to understand the lore of the game, so tonight I decided to look up a summary of the first game and I've snowballed from there. I'm so fortunate that I got to see this video! Your descriptions are exceptionally gripping and I appreciate how much care you put into keeping narrative beats. Thank you for making these!! Almost saw some other channels "mega summary of all assassin's creeds". felt too rushed so i looked up ac1 story. saw your ac1 video and really liked the conciseness. Felt like I got everything i needed, so i watched your AC2 summary. That was good too, so now I'm starting this one. and I'll probably watch the rest judging by how easy it's been to understand everything. I played these games as a kid, so I never really finished any of them, but i can tell you did a lot of research and made these into a much more palletable cohesive story that's way easier to follow and keep up with. it's actually crazy how simple you've made it. but, thanks for the closure. 6th grade me is very thankful. And that was 13 years ago!

I played revelations for a few hours when it got released, but got distracted and never got back to it, now I started it again, and was absolutely lost story wise. I wanted to play AC1 AC2 and Brotherhood, I already played them twice but i just realised how long ago this was done... and would have taken me a couple of months before i got to Revelations and i might have lost interest by the time i got there. This series you are doing is actually BETTER than going back to play them, as it puts the whole concentration on the story. Your narration, writing, tone and editing just this on another level, it is actually better than most video game movie adaptations and Netflix series, sounding like a younger Michael Cane also helps 😂 I postponed playing AC 3 and 4 as well until I play revelations, so this is huge! Thanks a lot!
As someone who played all the Assassin's Creed until Syndicate, I needed to remember what happened in the previous games which I finished more than 10 years ago before moving to AC: Origins. Thank you for the effort.

Since getting ps plus premium I’ve been trying to play all the games I couldn’t as a kid. But I really don’t have time to complete them all so I’m focusing on the modern ones. It’s great to get a good clear story of the lore that so many people I know and around the world loved.

I've played most of the pre-Origins AC games, but never really could understand nor appreciate their lore. Maybe because of the way in which the stories are delivered in-game? Who knows. No joke - your videos are slowly making me reinstall those titles just to pay more attention to the story this time around. Currently playing through Rogue for the first time, and I'll give Unity another shot right after. (Apparently the former links directly into the latter). Hope you get around to doing more. 23:48 you skipped over how Ezio found the banker didn't his sister help and wasnt this the moment that finally smoothed over their trouble relationship imo that's key to Ezio's story and resolve as his last remaining family fully becomes entrenched in the war efforts which was the last thing he wanted but something he had to bittersweetly accept
Looking back at Assassins Creed the story is horrific & anxiety inducing it was very unpredictable, the Desmond story arc was so interesting and I hated that they ended it in assassins creed 3

Same, I just finished it a few days ago and at the time I couldn't make sense as to what was giving me that feeling, then I realized that some of the missions were underwhelming as well as Cesare and Rodrigo. They hyped up Cesare to be this badass fighter/general who's fearless and ruthless but after Mario's death we don't see him do much but bitch and whine to everyone, his boss fight was underwhelming and felt rushed or forced. As for the pope I thought he was gonna get his own boss fight or at least do something more but no... He, dies by poison... Ok. Gameplay wise, I think the game is better than it's predecessor in some aspects. However some of the missions were bland or either plain boring or irritating. The story didn't really feel as engaging and it just felt off. I felt way more engaged and invested with AC2's story. Tl;dr: ACB had some cool additions gameplay wise. Story and it's characters just felt underwhelming and lackluster. Missions were sometimes boring and not really fun. Not a bad game, just felt average in comparison to it's predecessor, I 100% the game btw. AC2 and Brotherhood are the only AC games I've ever played.
