  • Marine Corps Combat Engineers blow up charges in a simulated obstacle clearing range. With the task of clearing paths for troops and logistics to move through, Combat Engineers have to get creative. Their favorite tool for the job are various types explosive and improvised explosives. For some Marines this is the first time they'll blow something up and some this is the last

Combat Engineers are skilled in different areas in order to answer the Engineers up call from our infantry brothers. This video shows examples of Breaching using Bangalore torpedoes and Rifleman skills in order to support our 0311 n corpmen.

Great portrayal of a combat engineer. This video does a fantastic job of capturing the essence of fighting men working closely together in small tightknit groups to pull off a tactical mission in order to accomplish a strategic victory. Although It's been 41 years since I have served as a combat engineer, and it looks as though there have been modifications since that time, some basic things remain the same. CBEs still get a charge out of blowing things up, and the comradery still remains as deeply felt today as it did back when I served. Great video, America can be proud of these men!

@mosesrodriguez Hey, are you in the marines btw? I was wondering how I can do what you do. Are you active and can you do it as a reserve?

I was in the Marines until very recently! I made this mini doc while I was still in. I was an active duty Marine which gave me so many awesome opportunities. You can do this job as a reservist but will get many more opportunities to see many amazing things and travel to amazing places as an active duty Marine
