The bug-net trap held up well during the night. No bugs, no mosquitos. I do recomen have with you extra tent pegs. The net also rolls up if you just want the trap. Putting poles on the coners adds a little more space to the inside. In general, it works.
I'm hanging for the second time in my hammock in the Croatan National Forest right now. It's close to home and I want to work our the bugs in my setup so I can come back to the Uwharri National Forest to do a 3 day camp. Thanks for sharing your setup.
This bugnet trap worked out pretty well. It's not too big, not too small. I would recommend the poles or self-made poles for the corners, too, add a little extra standing space. If it's windy, you can just add logs or rocks to the bottom flaps. Good luck in Uwharrie.
I slept in it for two nights. Had some moderate rain one night with no leaks. I've also left it out in the rain for a few days in my back yard and it held up well. I would say one of the big negatives is the stitching around the grommet/peg loops. The stitching is weak. One of the grommets rip off at the entrance with not that much force, when I was going in and out of the bug net. trap.

It was ! Can't wait to test it out again. I'm curious how it will stand up in heavy rain.

Nice setup, Mate!
I like the tarp! We could use that for our dog as well!
I'm glad you liked it. I still got to give it a good rain test.
Nice review, have you used the tarp in the rain? Any durability concerns after using it?

How many mosquitoes do you normally trap?
There was zero mosquitoes inside. But a handful of stink bugs.
