  • Mindset is More Important than Strategy:
    The Most Important Step to Accomplish Your Goals
    Preston believes that Mindset is more important than Strategy. After spending years as a struggling musician, everything changed when he shifted his mindset. He quickly became the top booked musical performer in the country at colleges and universities. After several years, he added a personal development message to his performances, and that took everything to the next level. Using his Mindset before Strategy philosophy, he moved into motivational speaking and eventually launched a podcast that debuted on iTunes at No. 1 in the world in its category. Life Coach This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

    Review/Summary:
    It’s possible for someone else
    It’s possible for me but how?
    It’s inevitable for me
    F.O.C.U.S:
    - Focus on your wins. Write a list of your wins.
    - Ask useful questions.
    - Coach. Get a coach to improve faster.
    - Take things off of your plate. Get rid of the things that aren’t serving you.
    Such a great talk 👏🏽👏🏽Thank you!

    5:10 - slight variation of view is that often one MUST hit rock bottom and sometimes all the way to basement level (if there is), in order to truly attain the transformation that sets you up for success. I'm not defining success as having money but confidence, self trust and utter belief in your oneness with the Universal Spirit therefore seeing every possibility for yourself. At that level of personal growth, don't worry about the HOW. Your alignment with the Universal Energy directs you in ways other people would never understand. Sounds abstract but this is real. Great talk still. The brain doesn't answer but becomes super charged to draw directly from Universal Intelligence all the answers for whatever you need

    There is this idea about success that deciding WHAT your goal is, & believing you can acheive it, is more important than the how. And 100% correct imo.
    The same idea has been passed generation after generation by coaches, mentors & successful people.
    Decide your WHAT, & Believe.

    Mindset is more important than strategy
    There are three stages of mindset:
    1 it is possible for someone else
    2- it is possible for me but how
    3- It is invitable for me now. Let’s find the steps

      Go through your life and think of everything you did right or that went well because you showed up. You want to train your brain to think about your successes in your life. It can be as simple as remembering to pay a bill on time, or a great meal you made, or making someone smile.

    • @prestonpugmire3798
      @prestonpugmire3798 ปีที่แล้ว

      The things you have done that youre proud of or that you were successful at. They dont have to be huge. Its just about retraining your brain to intentionally look for things you have done well or are currently doing well. They are always there.

    Working strategy > mindset

  • @maoliperez8326
    @maoliperez8326 ปีที่แล้ว

    In order to create a good strategy first you need to set the roots of your goals, and you get that thanks to your mindset if you know what you want, how possible it is for others and you, and what are steps to follow to get it. If you don't believe that you can, the strategy loses its sense.

Or does it mean that the speaker was believing the podcast would dip in popularity? How much does he control the events?
