    The question about why animals feel pain can be kind of hard. But in the end God is all knowing and all wise, humans are not. There are some things in this life that we will never understand. But God has a purpose for everything and we need to trust that even when we don’t understand, God knows best and there is a reason for it

    • @sandrabeck8788
      @sandrabeck8788 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Sure. Whatever works for you. Doesn’t change the fact that horrific suffering of humans and animals is an every day ongoing fact. And unless it is happening to YOU, it is easy to “reason” away.

    • @michaelfetter5413

      Animals exist to not be humans, for contrast, for our supply, and our practice. Their suffering can be an opportunity to practice compassion, but if we don't then use that compassion for humans, it's completely pointless.
      Animals are, in themselves, worth nothing.

    God watches over even the sparrow...in the scriptures we read that animals will be in His kingdom, and presently of the 4 sides facing there are of the four three that are animals. We read that animals will be with the saints and our Lord Jesus in the 1000 years He will rule on earth before the heavens are open to bring down the everlasting Kingdom here on earth, there will be lions who eat straw and so on. God included animals to survive the flood. It seems to me that the Holy Trinity in fact wants and values his full creation, which includes animals. Jesus in the 2nd Coming will come on a splendid white horse. So animals have a place here now on earth and in the kingdom to come.

      I agree. The Bible speaks of animals being in the millennial Kingdom. Jesus comes back on a white horse so it stands to reason that all the animals are included in heaven.

    Physical pain is not the main issue (as Lewis hints) - materialistic people are hung up on it, because matter is all they understand. What is worse than physical pain is spiritual pain and worse still being spiritually dead.

    • @elethilluvitar3818
      @elethilluvitar3818 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Intense physical torture via chemicals/ flaying whatever your mind can conjure; inflicted by a sadist torturer intent on keeping you alive and restrained for months / years would overpower even the strongest souls. What horrifies me is that yes; this has been inflicted onto our fellow humans AND animals. Subtle spiritual pain; at least in THIS life would not compare. This kind of physical pain can break your mind and drive you mad - thus my thesis is physical pain ramped up enough can cause spiritual pain through breaking down your sense of self / making you mad.

      Very true, and that's what the enemy does to everyone in this world. But he does it even slower, to the point where we almost don't feel it. I am not saying that the enemy inflicts physical pain. The enemy or the devil as is commonly known, does it mentally and psychologically every day, that's why we see hate ramping up lately. True physical pain over the years will drive someone to the point of death or suicide, to madness.
      But we do have a way out, if we believe in HIM.
      JESUS showed us at the cross that it could be done. He was broken physically but not spiritually. HE never lost faith in whom HE believed. The spirit, soul and body are weaving together, all three make one. But our soul is the main person of each of us. And that's what it has to be strong in us to survive pain, even physical pain. The problem is that we mainly focus on the physical part of us, and we have made it our main concern. It is very hard to understand this because we think that we are a body with a soul. But just like C.S. Lewis says in one of his talks, we are a soul with a body. I have had some physical pain in my life and some chronic pain my body. But the pain that has really hurt me the most, was the pain when others had betrayed me and taken advantage of me, special when it came from my own family. Physical pain I can handle but spiritual, psychological or mental will drive me to madness. Which I do agree, when they use tactics like physical turtore to break someone, keeping them alive to keep torturing them will drive anyone mad. But that's not physical anymore, it's psychological.
      It's sad that it is a lot easier for people to hurt other than to love others.
      GOD bless

    If God created more perfect beings, he would simply be creating an extension of himself, like the creation of Jesus, truth. In order to be a separate, free willed entity, we must be imperfect. Then we must choose perfection, as closely as possibly, with the help of The Lord. But then he says we will become one with him, but also eternal, and that is what I truly struggle to grapple with. Will I be absorbed, or will I be walking with Jesus? Or perhaps I'll be cast out, I cannot know, but the idea of being one with Him is frightening to me, like I'll disappear, but the only thing I can do is trust God, because a perfect righteousness will do right, so my fears of a heaven that tortures me, just less than hell and earth, are meaningless. It sounds like to be one with God is to still be you, with your own room, and your own space to exist, but His words still make me uneasy. Jesus is one with God, fulfilling his will, and Jesus is in God and God is in Jesus, but the word is separate from the truth, it is the expression of truth. He possesses a title, we are the bride, so then it complicates again beyond my level of understanding. I suppose I'll have to pray on this

    Adam and Eve caused the fall of creation, this is why pain and death exist. There are verses in the Old and New Testament that clearly state that all beasts are blessed and good, and will be part of the Kingdom of God when the universe is restored to its original glory.

    Correction:of the 4 sides facing God...

  • @michelleprull4105
    @michelleprull4105 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I am going to type something that I sometimes wonder about so please correct me if correction is obvious.
    In Deuteronomy 27:21 it says,
    Cursed be the one who lies with any kind of animal.
    I think there is also another mention somewhere of animals being corrupted…. But anyway, sometimes I wonder if not only man corrupted animals in many ways including sexual ways but also if whatever call we call dinosaurs were animals that were corrupted by the sons of God making animals giants similar to that of human giants. It’s just a thought I have but would love someone to show me where I’m wrong biblically or where it could be plausible biblically.

    It may be that animals like man are now sinful. Do animals have choice? I propose there are good animals and there are evil animals.

    • @travelsouthafrica5048
      @travelsouthafrica5048 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      no , you see only man can sin because only we ate from "the tree of knowledge" " of Good and evil" , people get the name of the tree wrong
      you see knowledge is the whole problem here , with knowledge comes power , with power come responsibility
      that is why we control the world , because we have the knowledge , therefore the power and hence the responsibility
      if you do not want the responsibility , you should relinquish the power and the only way to do that is to let go of knowledge ...
      but who would do that ? only a Hobbit ....
      but I digress , animals are never evil or good because like man before the great fall , they simply react to stimulus and the memory of previous stimuli
      they are blameless because they are ignorant to their actions , its merely an automatic reaction as opposed to something planned or premeditated
      that is why even the court deals more harshly premeditated crime as opposed to crimes of passion

    • @neogovernment
      @neogovernment 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@travelsouthafrica5048 thank you for your thoughtful reply. The consequence of the great fall immediately affected the whole of the animal kingdom. Did animals remain sinless? Fallen angels had intercourse with the beautiful daughters of men in the Book of Genesis resulting in the Nephilim. There would also have been bestiality. We may see some of the results pictured in Greek mythology. Even after the great flood this practice continued according to scripture. Is it possible that some of the animals have been perverted?
      Aside from this; There are good and bad pets. Some dogs will obey you some will not. Some dogs stare at you in Defiance! Jacob I have loved Esau I have hated. How do you know God has not got the same interest in animals? When a knowing dog decides to disobey it's master, perhaps this is also a copy of when we disobey our master?
      May the blessing and Peace of God be upon you in Jesus' name

      @@garybuck6535 this is my opinion of course and I don't mean to speak on behalf of bullirish, but I found that people who regard beasts as higher or "more righteous" than humans usually do so because animals (particularly pets) are more comforting than humans - precisely because they don't have free will, or choice, they cannot be deceiving, they cannot betray or abandon us (again, when it comes to the relationship between pet and owner) and even if they do so, i.e. if a cat runs away from the owner's home, we recognize that it was just the animal's nature and not its ill intentions, hence it can't be blamed.

      I agree. Animals were created by God and they are innocent creatures. They suffer along with man b/c of the fall. I truly believe every animal goes to Heaven to dwell with its Creator when its spirit departs its body. They do not deserve death, suffering, nor hell. They suffer b/c of man. And one day they will be redeemed. It is the duty of man I believe to be a good steward of this creation and that means taking care of the creatures He created. Mistreating them is wicked, cruel and evil..............
