- Today we went to Jacobs Soul Food in Harlem on 129st and Malcolm X Blvd.
Known internationally as the center of Black heritage and culture, Harlem has a wealth of activities to enjoy, from music to theater to comfort food.
Today of course I wanted to focus on the FOOD.
I want to apologize for the audio. I had to do some intensive audio repair because the Restaurant was playing loud music. I was to keep video as is TH-cam would ding me with a copyright infraction.

Jacob's has excellent soul and Caribbean food. I have gotten food from there many times.

Can’t mess with everybody fish, but the rest of the food looks good. The only thing that I don’t like is the way that the food is not covered and it’s a small place like people on top of each other.

@@MattDV yeah put something over it is all in the open and the door is right there and it’s small and people walk is it just not sanitary and we still fighting Covid.
That food really looked great! Plus I'm hungry so it looked even better lol. I probably would have piled my plate a bit more, but fr everything looked delicious! Have a good one!

@@MattDV you went at the right location too. I use to go to the one that's right across the street from the drew hamilton projects. But i like the one you went to. You just gotta get there a little early like by 11 and you'll get the foods fresh, nice and hot. 💯

Idk what y’all do up in NYC, but here in the south where soul food is from, we do not make our food like that. What kinda of yanky doodle soul food is this.

I live in the south. To be honest a lot of southern food in the south is mediocre. Most restaurants in the south are actually chain restaurants too and a lot of the younger generation of southerners are not that enthusiastic about southern food as well.
