Enjoyed watching this mad to see me on someone elses video haha, really enjoyed this camp even tjough i fell asleep multiple times think the hike took it out of me haha
@@StuartThow you inspired me to wild camp through winter (in snow)❄️ last year when I started my channel…I’ve really enjoyed those camps Stuart. So thank you so much ☺️🙏🏻
@@StuartThow I feel strange enjoying it 😂 when most people I know want to be at home with central heating. I enjoy being a little different and challenging myself out there. See you out again soon hopefully 🙏🏻
Looks a decent tent for the money, probably better suited to warmer weather for me with the all-mesh inner though! Another nice camp, glad you got out again, hope 2024 is a good one for you.
😂 Yeah just a bit windy ... All good fun though. We struggled to find a decent spot out of the wind, could have done with some of your local knowledge! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment, much appreciated 🙂
Brilliant to see you out camping again Stu. Love the lantern! Tent looked sturdy in that buffeting wind. Good to have company too for this one. Glad it went well for you. 💙
Brilliant to see you again Stuart...What a wild and windy camp...you were talking about getting a signal...you were lucky, I have not got a signal from my 02 supplier since well before Christmas on my mobile, saying that, they still manage to get a message through when I am home linked to my Broadband asking me if I want to upgrade to a better deal...They can get stuffed🙂...I am still not tempted to go out camping but watching your vids is a pure joy...Cheers Les.🙂👍
Haha yes I've been a member of that cult for a while now... You should join us 😂. Yes I'm hoping I'm not out of action for that long again! Looking forward to the next camp already already, thanks for watching 😊
@@StuartThow yes mate all good, Wbu? I should have camped on Saturday up Kinder, got the summit the rain was horizontal the wind was that strong. Had to bail in the end as I was soaked through, all spare clothes waterproofs everything was soaked 🙈😩.
man you guys looked exposed up on that hill. It's 35C as I type here, so seeing some cold was kinda of welcomed. Good luck with your adventures and your channel, I know how much effort you must be putting in, subscribed 🇬🇧🇦🇺 ✌🏻
Yeah it was bitterly cold, we ventured outside our tents a few times during the night but it was so cold and windy that we would have to take shelter back in the tents to warm up again. Not sure I could cope with 35C while camping though 😂 Thank you for taking the time to watch and leave a comment, it is really appreciated. 🙂
Yeah they have a very very similar looking tent to mine but it comes with fibreglass poles rather than the aluminium ones. I’ve also heard of a few Amazon listings advertising the alu pole tent but shipping the fibreglass one!
It held up well in the wind we got and you could easily add more guy lines to it. Obviously it's not going to cope with the weather like a Hilleberg but it's only £80, for a budget 3 season tent I think it's brilliant.
Great that you’re back out 🌸
Yeah it was amazing to get out again 🙂
Also notice your cooking system ,very impressed with it. Extremely small lightweight cannot be beaten .
Thanks, it’s my favourite cook system. Alpkit MyTi pot with alcohol burner and windshield/pot stand from Speedster Stoves. 😎

Great to see you back out Stuart. Looked like a good solid first camp of the year. Looking forward to your next. 👍
Cheers mate, it was so good to get out again. Hopefully the first of many this year 😁 Thanks for watching and leaving a comment 👍

Yeah I would say this would make a great summer / spring tent. Thanks for watching Kev 🙂
Great video Stuart. It was good to watch mate although a bit windy.🙂

Great video!
Thanks 😁
Good to see you back out bud.
Cheers mate, it was so good to finally be able to get back out. You don't realise how much you miss it until you can't get out! Thanks for watching 🙂
@@StuartThow aww definitely. Any trips in pipeline?
Nothing big planned at the moment, currently trying to decide on the next one. What about you?
@@StuartThow only the west highland way as a fixed one. A bunch of others as the year goes on but we’ll see how weather etc dictates I guess

It was great to be out again even if it was windy!

Yeah I'm not too bad thanks 👍 Sounds like a disaster of a camp, hopefully we will get some calmer weather soon!

I notice you got the fancy alloy poles ,mine came with very heavy cheap fibreglass poles and the most basic pegs...

NightCat is a nice name but, with just 1 guyline per pole, wouldnt trust it. Having had a tent flattened in a strom, not taking any chances.
