Thank you!! Our family projector started up just fine after sitting in a box for 40 years and your directions made the process a simple one.

Thank you so much for posting this! I had super 8 film from my grandparents and I found this machine in an antique store. So excited to use it and finally watch their film!

I have my grandfather’s old M85 projector which is sadly in a bit rougher shape, but I’m glad you posted this so I could see what it should be doing. The film won’t feed into the machine on mine. I’m sure I’d be hard pressed to find someone who could fix it for me. Here’s to hoping I can get it working again myself so I can see what’s on this reel of film I’ve got. Thanks for the info!

I hope you get it working. Watching old home videos can be very enjoyable - especially if they are of loved ones.

Great vid. Say, did you ever get that plastic guide piece replaced, or do you do without it? If so, do you recommend a source? Mine is broken as well. Thx.

Hi, Thanks very much for this video. Very clear and helpful. I have an old M90. Roller B also does not stay down. Tried to hold the film down like you did but it would not catch and start. Any possible tips? Motor does come on and installed new bulb.

@Dehah E Unfortunately I'm not sure and I'm not sure if the M90 is different than the one I have. You do have to push the film down into the slot. If you just lightly put it into the slot it doesn't get picked up. I needed to push it down into the slot with a bit of force and and fed about an inch of film until it picked up. Hope that might help.

I’m having problem with mine where the spools aren’t running. But everything else seems to work. Would I be right to assume is a belt issue ?

If you hear the motor running but nothing is turning is seems likely a belt has gone bad. I have never done a belt repair so unfortunately I can not help.
